Perfect Pear Bistro

I've been to this place a few times and I still want to go back! The first time was with my friend to celebrate my birthday. I tried their curry quinoa bowl, and it was very delicious. I am still thinking about it and want to search for similar recipes so I can make them at home. The inside of the restaurant looks small but cozy. The second time that I went there was after graduation, I was with my partner and puppy. We sat on their patio, which was very cute with a lot of shades, plants, and mist. We had a sandwich with sweet potato fries and pasta. We also tried their cocktail and beer. Everything was delicious! I look forward to going back there soon!

It was significantly better on my first visit in December.It was wayyyyyy toooo hot to sit outside, even with misters. That was rectified immediately upon request. The food took a really long time to arrive. Don't eat here if you have time constraints. Or make sure your server knows.I ordered the caprese grilled cheese. It was lackluster and kind of soggy. (Great the1st time)The strawberry salad that also came was really good.And the iced teas were good.Bottom line.....Show up close to opening and sit inside. (The patio is fabulous in good weather)I can't say I'd go back, unless, it was a group decision

I walked in about an hour before closing time and did not want to dine in so close to closing time, so I decided to order takeout and come back to my hotel room. I had looked up this place before arriving and had about four or five things circled on the menu that I wanted. The team member at the bar helped me choose what she liked best from those items, and she did not steer me wrong! The Tukee Pear Quesadilla was phenomenal--even better with the Southwest cream sauce--and the Paco's Tacos were great. Although I wish I could have chosen two different tacos because I would have liked to have tried the Butternut Squash taco, I understand why they do it.The Perfect Pear Classic and Fall Leaves salads, and the Autumn Roast Quinoa Bowl were the other items on my list to try. I look forward to visiting again on my next trip to Phoenix to sample more of this great menu!

It's been years since I visited Perfect Pear Bistro. After having lunch there, I couldn't think of the reasons why it took me so long to go back! We got the combo- half salad and half pasta and we got the chicken club sandwich with sweet potato fries. They were all cooked and seasoned well and tasted so so good! The ingredients in the salad were really fresh and loved the lime vinaigrette. The creamy mushroom Marsala pasta was okay, wish it had more flavor to it. The sandwich was really good and I love when the fries are nice and crispy! We had a really nice server as well. Restaurant was busy and he still served us well.

Pros:- A fun menu with something for everyone, including some yummy healthy options- I love their Roasted Sprout salad, best Brussel sprouts ever- Parking is free, which is great for a place near ASU/downtown Tempe- Great patio space with misters so it's usable even in the summerCons:- Can get kinda loud inside- Service isn't always the fastest- Bathroom could use a good deep clean

Food:Roasted sprout salad is amazing. Great char on the sprouts and the bacon bits in the salad are amazing. I also got a rosé pasta plate that was very generous for a half portion. Pasta noodles were very overcooked. Service:Staff was fine and fairly attentive. I've been before and I think they've improved quite a bit. Ambiance:Beautiful and cozy inside space. Patio would be lovely in the shoulder season but if you go in the evening they have misters so it could be bearable in the summer. The bathroom is pretty gnarly for a place this nice - sewer smell and generally grimy.

I love Perfect Pear! The prices are so reasonable with great portion sizes and the ambiance is the perfect spot for dinner with friends. The cocktails are reasonably priced ($10-11) and the mocktails are equally good. I recently had the Roasted Sprout salad with grilled chicken and it was SO YUMMY.

The menu was amazing everything sounded so delicious, it was hard to make a decision, my only complaint! My dish was great. Cute spot, what you would think of in a bistro. Will definitely be back when I am in town to try some other items off the menus. Service on point. Attentive and quick.

Perfect Pear Bistro is always one of my favorite places to stop for lunch. My coworkers and I stopped by for lunch and absolutely loved our meal. It was a party of 6 of us and they were able to seat us within 10 minutes, even during the busy time. Our waitress was great, and brought out extra Arnold palmer for us to refill throughout our meal. My sandwich was divine, per usual. I love the melty cheese and sauce on it. It is so light and refreshing in a hot day. I got sweet potato fries this time as my side, which were perfectly crispy. We sat outside and enjoyed the nice weather and misters on the patio while we ate. We had such a great time!

We've eaten dinner here twice on our way to a performance at Gammage. The atmosphere is vibrant & happening. The food is lovely. And the staff is really hopping. This last time my spouse and I shared a salad & a pasta dish. No photo of pasta dish because we just dove in. This location has both indoor & patio dining. If you want to be seated indoors, I definitely recommend a reservation, as there was a line out the door before we left. This will be a go to for us for the upcoming Broadway season at Gammage as their fare is light & shareable, we love the pre show atmosphere, and they offer a discount to Gammage patrons. Just please don't go on Thursdays cuz that's my night.
