Visited my friends that live in Tempe and they suggested Perfect Pear Bistro for brunch. Entering the establishment the spot looks inviting and warm, perfect for a friendly gathering. The service was simply outstanding! Our server Chelsea greeted us with a friendly smile, and showed so much enthusiasm explaining the menu. She offered great recommendations, and her attentiveness enhanced our meal experience. I highly recommend her 10/10. Food was excellent! We ordered the Chipotle vodka pasta sauce and Toni's perfect pasta with chicken. . I enjoy white sauce on my pasta and it honestly hits the spot. Fresh ingredient and cooked to perfection.Definitely coming back when I visit Tempe again.

I saw a review on PBS Check Please Arizona and wanted to try it. My family and I loved the ambience. It was a tad dark with the lighting but the decor is welcoming. We were brought to a 4-top immediately. The restaurant was full on the inside in a Saturday at 5pm. Didn't realize they had happy hour til 6pm and they had many choices and seasonal beverage specials. We started with the spinach dip which came with bread and chips it was delicious and creamy. It was a top 3 spinach dip. My husband and son had different grilled cheese sandwiches and they both loved them. The bread holds all the bacon, cheeses and jalapeños well. My other son got the pesto chicken sandwich and could only eat half. Yummy. The pasta garlic Alfredo sauce was garlicky and creamy but subtle. Not slathered all over. The noodle were firm with zucchini and mushroom. The side/dinner salads were delicious. We got the two desserts to take home a peach/pear cobbler and a brownie both with ice cream. Highly recommend. It's a nice environment with a date, a family outing or by yourself. We appreciated Kevin's service!!!

Stopped in for lunch with some friends and had the best experience here! It was busy but seating was quick, the atmosphere including the music was wonderful, and the service was excellent! Carissa was kind, cheerful, and attentive. Couldn't have been more perfect! The food was delicious and portions were large. My sister and I shared the chicken pesto sandwich with sweet potato fries and both were delectable.

Yum yum and yum! This place is a staple for us! Healthy, delicious, almost always great service (can be slow when busy, but who isn't?). And positive vibes. Love the salads, sweet potato fries are my weakness and the sandwiches are top notch. A crowd pleaser for even picky eaters.

We found this place on Yelp after finishing a tour of the nearby Lavender Farms. It was busy around lunch on a Friday but we asked to sit outside and were immediately sat. Shawna greeted us within minutes with ice water and a smile. I ordered the BLTA with seasoned sweet potato fries on focaccia bread. It was huge & delicious but I would have preferred strips of bacon vs. chopped. It was hard to eat because it all kept falling out. My mom ordered the Mediterranean salad with falafel and said it was FANTASTIC.

Very taste and got the bacon avocado pastrami sandwich. Was a bit tangy so I got blue cheese to give more flavor, the blue cheese was kind of expensive. Still, very kind staff

I really like this place. The food, the ambiance and especially the deserts!! The peach desert (I forgot the name) is just perfection and I think this is one of the very few places in Tempe that seem romantic and chill at the same time. So you can go on a cute date without having to dress up that much! Our server was nice but also a bit intense. She was quick in everything including bringing the check. Why do they bring the check without being asked? I'll never get that. We were eating and also contemplating on getting a dessert which we eventually did. Just ask me if I want anything before bringing me the check. I understand why they do that in some places that are trying to clear up tables but this kind of place shouldn't do that. Also, there were a ton of empty tables.I am giving the points anyway since we managed to ignore this and have a good time.

I haven't been here in foreverrrr and as soon as I walk in, I'm reminded of all the reasons why I miss it!Love the vibe and the atmosphere. You can get so many delicious options. You can even do 1/2 salad and soup, 1/2 pasta and soup or 1/2 salad and 1/2 pasta. The happy hour impressed me, it's from 11am-6pm!! Server was Ryleigh and she was incredible, attentive and she made excellent suggestions.

Like the variety of options offered here. The menu changes up a bit, which doesn't come as much of surprise. I would call this a soup, sandwich and salad type place with a bar. The place is somewhat small, but they do have patio dining which is nice on good weather days/nights.On recent dining trip here i had wanted a hot beverage because it was chilly that evening and the restaurant was COLD. The server tells me he could bring me hot water.I thought something like a Keoke Coffee, or simply a Coffee with Baileys could have been made but it seems the bar isn't capable of accommodating such things.Neither Coffee or tea had been offered. The server proceeds to offer to bring one person in our group a hot Dr. Pepper? This was not received well and the server promptly apologized for his foolish comment.Overall the food is pretty good, restaurant seems to be chilly routinely, and the service greatly varies.Maybe they're short staffed? That really affects the overall dining experience.
