Such an incredibly down to earth and enriching wine tasting experience. Mike, the owner of the vineyard, shares not only the vintage of each grape at each pour but also tells the story of the vineyard, it's place in Bainbridge Island history, and is all in all such a friendly and welcoming person. Anyone who enjoys wine with an (optional) side of American history will absolutely love this experience. Highly recommend for any visitors of the island with a car :)

My friends and I decided to go to Bainbridge Island for a day trip and decided to drive around and go to several wine-tasting in the area. However, by far the best wine tasting that we went to was here at Perennial Vintners. Mike is the sole operator and runs the whole operation. He makes everything himself and is very passionate and it shows during the wine tasting. I really enjoyed how personal and in-depth he was during the wine tasting and the wine has also delicious. The wine tasting was $15 and the bottles of wine we got were only $28. This is an amazing place and should definitely be on your must-do list!

Stumbled upon this on a Monday afternoon while visiting the island. The owner greeted us upon arrival and provided a friendly and knowledgeable wine tasting. Owner lives on the property and does everything himself. Enjoyed our wine and conversation. Cheers!

Stopped in last weekend with some friends from out of town and had a great time at Perennial Vintners. Easily one of my favorite spots out on bainbridge now. Mike, the owner, winemaker, and part historian if you will, shared stories about the history of the area and information about the Washington wine making scene. His white wine is one of our new favorites. If you're in town go check it out!

Stumbled upon Perennial on a wine-tasting day trip last year and was throughly smitten with the experience. I don't know wine, only what I like and what I don't like. We'd spent the day at a couple more popular, slick wineries and I was at the point of complete ambivalence when we spotted the tiny white sign for Perennial and drove up the single track dirt road to an aging house surrounded by trees with a bunch of barrels topped with stone in a courtyard outside. There was only one other car in the parking lot and those clients were on their way out. They gave us an enthusiastic thumbs up. We had the place to ourselves and took a seat at a barrel table when Mike walked out of his basement winery to greet us with a big smile. He is the sole owner and sole employee of the winery--does ALL the work himself, even grows many of his own grapes on the property. We spent a couple hours listening to Mike regale us with stories about the history of Bainbridge Island and talk about his wine-making process and passions. His wine is different than just about any other winery in that he produces wine using unusual grapes, not the typical styles every other Washington winery offers, but styles you probably aren't familiar with. I loved it. We tasted every one of his wines and there wasn't a single one that I didn't like. Take note: His Frambelle raspberry wine is literally to die for ... Just make sure you ask him to tell you the history behind this particular wine, it's remarkable. This place is exactly my kind of experience. You should visit.

This was a lovely, forested spot with local grapes that produce small batch dry reds, whites and sparkling wines. The owner does it all here. He grows the grapes, pours the tasting, and is super knowledgeable. Highly recommended if you are looking for dry wine with some good stories.

Mike was an excellent host!We made the walk from Eleven Winery. Up a winding gravel road, passing small vineyards along the way. We made our way to this quaint vintner to enjoy some wine. We were greeted by Mike, who is the sole proprietor. He found us a small table and served us the tasting. Before each pour, he took time to share interesting information about each wine with each set of customers.Mike educated us on wines in Washington and explained how many of his wines are quite unique in North America. We found ourselves trapped since there were no more Ubers driving, but fortunately a very nice couple was kind enough to give us a ride into town.We had a delightful experience at Perennial Vintners. We went to 3 wineries on this day and Perennial was by far our favorite. I would recommend it to anyone going to Bainbridge.
