Penguin Yogurt Factory

The very first time I came to this establishment I accidentally rested a yogurt that was .88 lb. And received it for free.The most recent time my purchase was $16.42. However when I got out to bring it into my children, the top flew off and the sides collapsed, causing it to fall to the ground. I'm hoping they will agree to replace it for free.

The only place I have found that has dole whip similar to the one at Disneyland. I love that you pay by the ounce rather than a set price. The inside is always clean, the staff is always friendly and all the flavors and toppings are great!! Def recommend coming here on a hot summer day!

Has a wide variety of boba drinks and yogurt. Nice that there is pineapple yogurt, have to try that next time. Also ask for the frequent card because you can get $5 off!

This is probably the best frozen yogurt place ever they always have a good selection of flavors and plenty of toppings.

If you want yogurt that you can fill in your own, this is one of the place to go to. This place also have drink which is great for a group of friends. Great customer services, inside is small but there is couple table for outside sitting.

Really good frozen yogurt with great choices for flavors and toppings. The people working have always been really friendly and cool.. it is a relaxed atmosphere but not much room to eat.... Good for take out or you may find a table outside. A little pricey but pretty typical for yogurt places these days.... Overall, it's a great option for a nice treat.

Time and again, Penguin Yogurt Factory has never disappointed. It is hands-down the best yogurt shop I have ever been to and I have absolutely no complaints. The man who runs this place is kind of a neat freak, but it makes for the absolute best froyo experience possible compared to other places which do not give much attention to detail in keeping the toppings bar stocked and clean. They have a variety of flavors of yogurt, including for different dietary needs , and I don't think I've ever tried a bad one. They have tons of toppings, sauces, etc and a huge variety of drinks, shave ice, chamango, etc. This place has a special place in my heart and is where I have gone with family for years after days or nights out. We have a running joke after having a huge meal at dinner of saying "Time for Penguin Yogurt?" I have gone here with all my friends, those who I have kept throughout the years and those who have not stuck around. I've gone alone during some of my darkest times. My best friend is from Britain and had never tried froyo until he came to Penguin with me, he exclaimed "Now that is delightful! " upon taking his first bite. It is not just a yogurt shop, it is a place of community in Santee which brings people together and makes them happy. I much prefer Penguin to any froyo chain and since moving away I do miss it often. I have only gotten the free yogurt by weighing the certain weight like once, but I don't care. They have a stamp card promo system even. Thank you, Penguin Yogurt Factory, for being around for so long. You are a constant in my life. Never stop.

They don't provide samples anymore which is a bummer because they have flavors that sound good but are not, such as strawberry. So it's just a matter of luck if you end up liking the yogurt. I got the matcha and strawberry and ate just the matcha. The reason I gave 2 stars was just for the matcha. It was yummy! The toppings were also fresh, especially the fruit. Probably won't be back though.

It's amazing, their Dole Whip froyo tastes like the exact thing from Disneyland. Strongly suggest. Their boba is super good too. I go with my family all the time
