Very yummy fried wontons, dumplings, and crab rangoons. Meat is a bit skimpy, but for the price, it's well worth it. The dumplings are northern style I think. The skin is thicker (but still tastes very good). The employees are very nice and efficient. Inside is on the smaller side, but a few tables and a good amount of counter seats are available. Fried wontons are very cheap, I recommend.

Absolute 10/10 Chinese food in Lakeview! This place is the best hole in the wall Chinese you can get. Big portions and worth every penny. Which is not that many. Service is exquisite and the girlies in the back make sure you are in and out PERIOD love these people and the sesame chicken is a staple I judge all Chinese food places in and wow it did werk bestie. YAASSSS SCORE: 10 10 10s across the board

I just placed an order here for dinner through Door Dash (and I picked it up instead of delivery). I ordered crab rangoon, hot sour soup (large), wonton soup (large), and sesame chicken with fried rice.I really liked it! I've been looking for a good takeout Chinese and I think this will be my new fave! The wonton soup broth was a little watery, I added a chicken bullion cube and that solved the conundrum. The sesame chicken was good, but the fried rice was excellent!Crab rangoon are more wonton than filling. Easy take-out process and affordable prices! I'll be back.

Chinese take out is completely subjective. I'm very specific. Sometimes unfair. Like if they don't got that same bodega looking menu I had in my hometown, I don't trust them. There's a weird algorithmic science to it. But honestly, It might be a coincidence by Chicago/NYC Chinese food is different LA/HI. I think people from cold northerly areas cook similar. Like one distinguishing feature is wonton soup. North uses thicker noodles. I could not find the thick style anywhere in Hawaii. So all these little nuances is why I like this place. It's take out, so no fancy dining room, but the service is quick and friendly. Their food is consistent and is prep in the style I prefer. My experience has been good.

We just found out the place we've been getting our Chinese food from closed after 10 years of being our go to spot!! But we had the craving and we've ordered from here twice and decided this will be our new go to spot. We really like their general Taos and sesame chicken. I also like their crab Rangoon but my husband can't eat them because they are strong in onion. The pork fried rice isn't quite how I like it but still does the job.

In the picture of their sweet and sour chicken and other sweet and sour dishes it has the chicken covered in a brown sauce with peppers, but what arrived was fried chicken pieces and a separate processed red sauce-the exact type of sweet and sour chicken I wanted to avoid. Food was hot and ready just not as advertised.

Sesame chicken and potstickers. An order that should not be hard to screw up.I ordered it five days earlier and it wasn't amazing, but it was good. And I didn't have a problem. But five days later I ordered it again. But sadly, it was extremely disappointing. And around $33. For two nights of food if it was fine that would've been tolerable although still highway robbery when compared to going into a little Chinese place on the street in New York City and being able to get the same meal for a little over 10 or maybe now $15 I'm still grateful that someone came out during the cold rain on the Chicago cold early evenings, but still. And if Karma is true, this is all some thing coming back to me from my past where I feel to serve people in a really satisfactory way. This is more perhaps a cautionary tale about ordering via Yelp who's partnered with Grubhub, because neither of them will take responsibility. Best thing to do in the future is to call up the restaurant and ask them to deliver it. Lesson learned I hope. The food was not as good as Yummy Yummy Asian bistro (which was not taking delivery at the time because of the weather probably), Unfortunately the worst part was they completely ignored my delivery instructions, which included the apartment being on the rear side of the building and to call me when they showed up with the order. They never called me, and on the Yelp app I discovered the food had been left out on the porch in front of a different apartment in the cold rain for over 15 minutes. And neither Yelp nor GrubHub will compensate me for the order. I'm sure some other food and delivery service is wonderful, but unfortunately I had that very bad experience. And no one has bothered to try to compensate me for ignoring the delivery instructions, and compensate me for overpriced food when you take into account it was cold and wet and the sauce had dried up, so it was hard to get down. I had to use a lot of soy sauce. Even then it was a lot of money. Between the tax and the delivery fees and the tip as well as their slightly more expensive price range in general, and I would've been so much better off going to Panda Express. I tried contacting The customer service number on the Yelp app which forward me to GrubHub who they've partnered with since 2018. And the customer service agent said there's nothing they could do but they would give me a five dollar credit towards my next order. Well tonight I just tried to make another order, and there was no such credit in my Grubhub account, and Yelp doesn't have direct customer service it seems, and GrubHub apologized over and over but they did nothing beyond mere words. I would be very grateful for the restaurant to contact me and offer a partial refund for my order. If they do, I will leave an updated deeply appreciative and more positive review. I have a leftover portion the next night or two afterwards, which after microwaving it and using soy sauce, somehow managed to taste a little bit better, but it was awfully expensive for that kind of experience in the first night that it was fresh, it was already not fresh because it was left out in the cold and it was a real treat for me to get this and unfortunately it was a treat gone wrong, and disappointing. I hope to hear back from someone about this in the future. And if so, I will update the review. Maybe the orange chicken is better.

Overall, it's a good everyday restaurant. A bit confusing to me why the dishes came served on top of rice, except for one. That way the sauce gets absorbed into rice which i did not want. Otherwise, it ok. Flavor is a bit neutral. The fried rice is also very light. I would have liked it to be more fried, i guess. The beef with brocolli i dont recommend. the sauce is oiler and the beef tastes underwelming. The checken and vegi and chicken and shrimp combo were pretty good.
