We just started trying various items on the menu. I believe I'd only been in a Pei Wei once previously, and it was a long time ago. Since this one is so close, we've been tasting different items...some we've been enjoying, others not so much. But, it's fun trying new things. So far, we've been enjoying ourselves. The biggest downside is, we've ordered from here a few times and so far, there's always something missing or wrong once we get home. We have found some things we're really happy with, so that's always a plus!

I've always loved Pei Wei so I was excited when they opened this location because it's really close to home. I have ordered take out at least 7times since they opened. I'm very disappointed as our food is always very salty and not edible.. I usually save left overs but every time I have ordered from here I found myself throwing the food away. I don't remember it being this salty in the past. I was hoping it was just a one time mistake but nope. We've given them plenty of chances and I don't think we will be returning, sadly.

if I could give zero for my first and second visit then I would, also just to be known this regular go to pei Wei is a go to weekly for me. I will not go into an establishment and be treated how I was. I will not deal with your teen mngr talking to me as if he is 15, yes you did. You can't treat people like crap and expect them to come back ×2. I'm angry, I wanted to stop and sit in front and tell everyone that walked in the door what happened. I was treated that bad. Sir if u see little mngr guy do not respond! I really mean that. I saw how u looked at me when I left and the comments you made. We will not be coming to this location ever again. The fact that you are the mngr or any type of shift lead blows my damn mind. Your rude!!!! Dont give gift cards for a 100 order that was absolutely horrible and was givin to another person while we were sitting in you lobby after ordering online 2 hrs previous. Then we waited and waited , mind u we have family here we have not seen in a long time. They will not be going to a y Pei Wei is was so gross oh and then I come to use gift cards and u can't honor them?? what the heck!!!? And your a jerk about it and u gave them to me I was coming to try for another chance, heck no I won't be back. If anything I'm spending some time telling people not to go there. Firstly, to all of our out of town guests visiting the Valley for an event at the Glendale Sports Complex I wish you a hearty welcome! Now if you are looking for a place to eat nearby before your event I say: Please for the love of all things great and small, find someplace else! Even if you love Pei Wei in your home area, this ain't your normal Pei Wei. There are so many better choices within a mile of this disaster.Trust me you can stop reading now and just go somewhere else, but if you must know the details feel free to read on: We decided to give this newly opened place a try since we love Pei Wei. This place is very small so you are pretty much in hearing distance of everyone who works there. We placed our to go order ($40 for 2) and we were given one of those buzzer coaster things. We sat on the bench and quickly noticed that it appeared this whole place was staffed by teenagers and 20 something wanna be teenagers. Nothing against teenagers or wanna be teenagers but these were the types that were obviously here for the socializing and not the actual work part. Lots of laughing and goofing around. You get the picture. After what seemed 15 minutes, one of the girls came over with "our" bag and handed it to us. I thought it was odd that the coaster thing never went off but didn't think too much of it since there were only two other customers in the place. How could you screw this up? Right?We drove home ten minutes and when we sat down to eat ..... completely wrong order. Looked at the receipt and it was somebody else's order. We packed it all up and drove the 10 minutes back to return our food. We told the girl they gave us the wrong order:Me: you gave us the wrong orderGirl: yeah we mixed up the numbers, but your order is right hereNote it has now been sitting for over 20 minutes.Me: umm no thank you. I would just like a refund. Girl: ok ( no sorry no how can I make it right just ok)Me: don't you guys have a system for checking orders?When I said this the girl just stared at me while the two workers at the cooking station looked at each other and started laughing. None of this is an exaggeration. I felt like I walked into some kind of Pei Wei / Idiocracy mashup. I took my refund and started to walk out.As I exited one of the other customers who was walking out at the same time shook her head and said "don't think this place will be around very long." Goodness I hope not or we are all doomed. I did end the whole thing with a laugh. As we were pulling out I noticed that the General Manager actually had the guts to put his name on the front door. My wife said "that's like putting that you worked as the COO for Enron at the top of your resume."

I walked to order and stepped up to the counter to order the old fat guy behind the counter said I'll be with you in a minute. During my wait in front of me he was stocking stuff just kept stocking getting different stuff waking around behind the counter taking to the cooks, flat out not wanting to help.Left.

Gave two stars cause the place was clean and the two men cooking were nice but the girl at the front taking orders was rude af. It's super noisy in there so you can barely hear what she is asking you and then she blames the noise on the customer instead of the kitchen. I saw her being so rude to this lady in-front of us and the lady was so nice and kind she just couldn't hear because of the loud kitchen. Then when it was our turn she was getting annoyed that we asked which dumpling was better and had to ask over again what were the options for the dumplings steamed or fried. So overall my self probably won't be going back to this location. Just because you're having a bad day doesn't mean you take it out on others.
