PCC as a market is quite expensive, so that's something to recognize before shopping here. However, the quality of produce, meals, and groceries is extremely high. My wife and I would do our "grab and go" shopping here when we lived nearby but not our weekly grocery trips. Love it for what it is!Also, try the carrot cake for two, it's to DIE for.

Prices are high, true, but when you compare their deli set-up and tables to going out to eat in the Green Lake neighborhood, it pencils out. Everyone can get their own thing and we aren't hassled by wait staff. Sit as long as we want and chit chat. I love the paninis and spinach salad. Free water! Nice coffee station. We keep going back!

First visit to this location. It's a newer store in a nice complex with several other stores. I popped in for just a few items, but as is normal with a grocery store, I ended up with much more. This location is similar to other locations. Produce on the right and the deli and sweets on the right. The store is clean, staff were everywhere, but not one person greeted me or asked if I needed assistance. In fact, I was browsing the cheese area and an employee was doing some type of inventory. He never said a word, but chatted with the other people at the cheese counter who also were not engaging in customer greetings. I was pleased to see the self-checkout lane. I had to ask for a code to get out the garage which was offered to another customer without prompting. The employee at the self-checkout was chatting with a cashier instead of supporting customers.I removed two stars because the employees just seemed off their game and more interested in chatting with each other.

PCC in general is a high quality market with delicious grab-n-go options and deli case. The employees are always helpful and seem to enjoy working there. I regularly use their filtered water station and it's still the best thing going for .49 a gallon for crisp water. They also have a varied and enjoyable selection of WA wines.I've used different locations for their custom ordering and was completely satisfied with the entire experience. From the pleasant phone order to pickup, everything was done right and on time. I ordered their vegan chocolate cake for a birthday and it's the only one I could find in the area that was reasonably priced AND delicious. Bravo! I also ordered 3 pizzas from the Green Lake store and they were delicious (especially the Olympic!) and hot and ready when I arrived. The Green Lake store also validates parking for the underground garage. I am so pleased with this market that I'm becoming a member. Keep up the great work PCC!

I think I may have been too harsh -- I think PCC has some of the best quality fresh produce in the Seattle area and some of the better prepared food (on the level of the average overpriced "New American" / "New Southern" restaurant here in this area) you can get from a grocery store or restaurant. The only downside, as I've said in previous reviews, is the food can be rather expensive.I wouldn't do every day shopping here, but for special occasions if I need to get super good quality meat, this would probably be the place. If you are looking to cut down on your restaurant spending with this wild inflation, but are still lazy to cook, the chicken sandwiches, breakfast biscuits, and cold steak + salad boxes are high quality and tasty (on the satiation range: from "my stomach is full full" to "not full but not hungry"). Currently under $10 as of Aug 2022. I used to get pizza yea moons ago when it was $5 for 2 slices but it's eh now for $4 / slice (which shrank too). The only downside is that if you want to regularly shop here means you probably drive a Tesla, work in tech, or practice as a bonafide doctor or lawyer (semi-loaded / "comfortable").

Came in for some lunch items from the deli section - pizza, bagel and a hot sandwich. All really delicious. Although it's a generally more expensive grocery store, the location was great and walkable from Green Lake.

Since this Covid thing started, I've kept to a few core shops when it comes to getting groceries. Weirdly, even as a born and bred Seattleite, I have never really considered PCC one of my go to shopping location. I mean PCC has been a Seattle (and Community) focused grocery store, and i can pretty much find anything that is sold locally here. So like many local grocery chains, things are not going to be as cheap, especially when you compare with the mass-mega-mart stores. I think there are those that exclusively a majority of their grocery shopping here, but I generally tend to come here for the hot-prep or deli items. These aren't necessarily cheap, but nor are they grossly overpriced as some other reviewers have stated either. When it comes to it, the choices that are behind the glass display counter, or the pre-packaged deli items are things that are tasty and delicious. Some things are unique to PCC, and I appreciate their take on the Potato Salad, as well as the Curried Tofu. I think when it comes down to it, for the things that I come here for, and the level of service and attention to detail that I get, I'm good with it. The Egg Nog Latte that my wife had last week from there was delicious, and the deli salads that we purchased for our outing were delicious. They baked goods were also tasty. I think it's easy to say this place is for rich people (things are just slightly more expensive than what I normally expect), or the lines are too long (which they sometimes are), but at the end of the day for the items that I tend to buy (mainly hot prep, deli, coffee, baked goods), this place hits the spot.

I honestly love this location at Greenwood Village. Nice selection of low-mid and high-priced items. Great selection of cold and hot foods at the deli. Clean salad bar. On my lunch break, I like to grab a slice of pizza and something to drink and sit in the sitting area right outside of the PCC door. They have beautiful flowers, kind and friendly staff and the store was welcoming. Maybe not to exciting for others but I was thrilled to find bottled rain water. I buy it but if thats your thing, PCC Market has it. Overall, 10/10 I would recommend.

What used to be somewhat affordable, quality food has turned into bourgeoisie upscale. Prices on things that used to make PCC stand out next to competitors have skyrocketed accompanied with decrease quality, along with a complete removal of many membership perks. In addition, their repeatedly bad publicity regarding hostile union bargaining has completely gutted everything PCC initially marketed for- quality and ethics. There's truly not much of a difference between shopping at a PCC or a Whole Foods or a QFC- many of the organic products you find at PCC can be found elsewhere for a cheaper price. Only writing this review as a response to their obvious payment towards the Seattle Times practically begging consumers to choose PCC.
