While the food quality is good, customer service is suboptimal. Staff appear tired and unmotivated at times. When there are places such as Whole Foods and Metropolitan market around the competition is high. Why not do better?

If you are a foodie, you are going to LOVE this market. Yeah it's pricey, but it has amazing produce and other cool stuff. It's got that "Seattle Urban Millenial Chic" vibe down to the max. Every time I go there I spend WAY too much time browsing and it's a small market. Check it out.

We love it here! Not only do we find a little bit of everything we like, love, want and need, but kids are offered a free serving of fruit or vegetable of their choosing! (The rule of thumb is: it can't be larger than the size of the child's head.)Fresh, organic produce, dairy, meats and everything in between can be found at your local PCC. Additionally, stop by - at any time of day - for a coffee, a sweet treat, lunch or snacks that are all available in the deli! Pizza, sandwiches, pastas and more are prepared daily for customers to enjoy.

Stupid store, no windows and ridiculously expensive with a very limited selection. I go out of my way NOT to shop here.

This is my neighborhood PCC and the best PCC. Small and manageable but still good selection. Friendly and helpful staff. Some items are expensive but staples, sales and the bulk section are just fine for a price conscious shopper. Membership is worth it if you shop more than occasionally. The dividend is small, but coupons and other perks make up for it. I was so happy to be able vote for two workers to join the PCC board this year!

The staff at this store are absolutely appalling and they actually lie about the items in the store. And when you complain, they blame others for the lie or "mistakes". Clearly it's not enough that PCC make record profits during the pandemic, they also won't hire decent staff who are professionals. We hardly ever visit this branch, but have noticed a significant drop in quality of service across all the branches. We've been members for a while. Perhaps it's time to accept that it's all about the money and not really about treating their members well.

Ordinarily, I love shopping at PCC. People pay inflated prices here because they are under the impression that they are getting higher quality food. You might ask yourself, then, why are they selling Smoked Oysters imported from China that contain Lead and Cadmium? Shouldn't they take an example from Whole Foods and Trader Joe's to stop selling toxic food from China? I was seriously craving the Napoleon smoked oysters I bought today, but now I have to throw them away. :( Why, at this location only, is their hot food bar always cold? And what happened to the PCC coupons in the Chinook Book? Employees are all real nice here..which is a plus. But if you are the the kind of place that believes that you are entitled to charge your customers 25-30% more than your competitors, then you'd better up the quality of your products.

I'm an avid PCC shopper and this was my first visit to the Green Lake location. First impression when entering is that it felt a bit disorganized and crammed given its small size. I wanted to stop by to pick up some dinner from their hot and cold food bar. This location is SMALL which means, their hot food bar is also small. I was still able to pick out something from their selection. I went with the pesto zucchini noodles from the cold bar (small size) and oven roasted chicken from the hot bar (1 piece). The total was around $8 and I was satisfied with the portion size. Although I liked the flavors in the chicken, it was cold. I didn't loveeee the zucchini noodles (pesto overpowered it a bit much which made it too soggy for my liking). My review is based on my food bar experience. I still love PCC and the local offerings but this location itself just didn't sell me.

Completely agree with Archana. When you shop here and don't need help, this place is fine. My interactions with the deli people have always been great. But I didn't realize that their manager is a psychopathic nutcase and a liar. She kept telling me that she couldn't look up the items with my credit card. She sent me all the way back to Kirkland to make a return. She was super rude and disrespectful and when I tried to question why she wouldn't do the bare minimum as a manager, she ganged up on me with her employee. Even mediocre customer service would've been better than your malicious treatment of a loyal customer. The Kirkland location asked me some questions, found my receipt, and returned my items - they even apologized for Anne-Marie's poor etiquette. When I commented on her low level customer service, she walked away like she couldn't be bothered. "That's fine" was her response. Really. Well, it's not fine. Learn to treat others with dignity or find a new job. I'll spend my money elsewhere.
