I'm really sad that it took me so long to come here. If you love Napoli style pizza, this is a great spot in there city. The highlight for us was that they serve HALAL pepperoni and sausage.We loved all of the pizzas we're tried. The coyote could have used some cheese but flavors were good. Beef a ronis a classic. Netflix and chilee was unique and flavorful. The star for me was the crust though. They also have Detroit style which I'll be back for.Service was quick and good. Lots of seating but I don't think they take reservations Street parking available Pro tip - Monday they have a $15 specials for the wood fire pies which includes a drink

this pizza was sooo good and i'd definitely come back to try more!! ive never had detroit style pizza before and ive decided i rlly like it. its a little less dense than a traditional deep dish / a little airier so it makes it easy to eat a little more and not feel super sluggish after. i also really liked the creamy ricotta on top even tho im usually not a ricotta girl. id definitely come back to try more , although my friends both got mushroom pizzas and neither of those were good - so beware.We came for trivia which is rlly why im giving them 3 stars instead of the 4 i probably would just for the food (& exceptional service!). there were only 2 TVs which made it really hard to see, and we also couldn't hear the person making the announcements well at all. when the space is packed, you can't hear anyone else at your table which was rlly frustrating. I'd definitely come here to eat again but not for the trivia :-/

TL; DR: Great Detroit Style Pizza, Salads are ShareableArrived at 6:45pm for a Friday and got a table for 2 immediately. It started to pick up around 7:15/7:30pm, so if you like early dinners - this is perfect. The Detroit style pizza was great and the crust was so tasty. The salad was big enough to share between 2 and was filled with lots of goodies. I would definitely go back and try another pizza. Their Neapolitan pizzas looked good too

Carnivore Prohibited Pepperoni! I was simply so hungry at the smell of this pizza or you'd have seen the whole thing. Beautifully crispy edges, gooey cheese, &I didn't even use my extra sauce! (Anyone who knows me, knows that I love extra sauce!) 5 !

We had an amazing experience with Paulie Gee's Pizza! We ordered a half sausage and half pepperoni pizza, and were thrilled to find out that everything was halal. It's always a delight to find great pizza options that cater to our dietary preferences, as we do not eat pork. The pizza was absolutely delicious--saucy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The crust was just the right balance of crispy and chewy, and the toppings were generously applied, making each bite incredibly satisfying. The sausage and pepperoni had great seasoning, adding to the overall enjoyment. We were super happy and can't wait to return for more of their fantastic pizzas!

Paulie gee's was delicious. It wasn't quite what I thought of with deep dish pizza because somehow it was light and fluffy. It was really tasty. We tried a huge variety of pizzas (even one that was inspired by thanksgiving dishes on top???) and they were all really tasty. The cheese crust is what I think people *think* pequods is doing (yummy crispy cheese) but without being burnt.Deff recommend checking out Paulie Gee's to fulfill your meaty cheese and fluffy bread cravings.

Already thinking about the next time I'm coming back, this pizza is AMAZING (the US Pizza Cup Winner). My new favorite in the entire city. It's a true work of art that Pizza with this many layers can still taste light and fresh. The crust is airy and moist in the middle but crunchy on the outside with so much flavor (not to mention this was the gluten free crust). The sauce is so fresh, the pepperoni balance so well with the basil, ricotta, and the hot honey (!!!)Not to mention the ambiance of the restaurant is on point - for a pizza place it's great to have a well designed sit down service for a meal, not just a slice shop. Lots of tables but definitely filled up even for a Monday! They have a good Monday deal on their thin crust pizzas, but how could I pass up this masterpiece? The prices are extremely reasonable, too. Brb will be back asap!!

Paulie Gee's Detroit style pizza might be my favorite Detroit style pizza that I've ever had. The Carnivore: Paulie's Prohibited Pepperoni is crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside, so dang good. The cream of some fungi was also great. This has become one of my favorite pizza joints! I've only ordered delivery, and I will continue to order delivery from this spot.

If you've had your fair share of deep dish pizza then you can give detroit style pizza a try. Paulie Gee aims to make your pizza experience just a little different out here in Chicago.If you have no idea what to get, then get the US Pizza Cup, the combination of ricotta and honey and what not is a match made in heaven. I was tempted to eat an entire order myself but my friend might not have appreciated that. So to compromise, we got a fungi something white sauce pizza cause God knows we need fiber in our diet. Yeah sure that one was good too but my taste buds kept gravitating back towards the US Pizza Cup. Don't believe me? Order for yourself and see, if you're feeling particularly ravenous, maybe you can order two detroit style pizzas, they have a rotating menu (or so I was told) for certain detroit style pizzas, giving you an excuse to keep coming back.
