Yep. Everything good. Esp haupia cinnamon roll. Patrick and the crew are very welcoming and offer such friendly service. Small space but lots going on and plenty of seating outside, too.

want some aloha vibe here on the mainland?i decided that i needed a pick me up on this dreary wet super bowl sunday so i bought myself a haupia cinnamon roll and a pineapple scone for my workday treat tomorrow.everything about the place reminded me of being in the oolynesian pacific. lots of favored ingredients and a cheerful place to eat, if/when the sun shows its face. i'll come back for some savory lunch plate options in the future but these take out flavors fit the bill for now.

Food was overall okay, my favorite was the kalua pork and mac salad. What I liked most was that the mac salad and haupia cinnamon roll wasn't overly sweet like most other places. A warm cinnamon roll would have been 100. Also, most dishes could use a touch more salt, but I don't mind adding later (better to err on the side of under-salt in my opinion bc ppl have different palates and different health issues). Tiny space, tiny dining area. Customers/diners can hear everything happening behind the scenes. Felt extremely uncomfortable and incredibly sorry for the staff as they were being berated by management. While management's grievances may be warranted, there are more professional ways of conveying/resolving such issues. I truly hope this was an isolated event for all parties involved. Biscuits and gravy: spouse said it was good, especially the biscuits. I thought it tasted a bit sour but agree that the biscuit texture was spot on. Fried rice: a tad greasy from all the meat. felt the dish needs something (carrots/peas) to offset the grease. scones: love that the scones seem to be store made (instead of just another macrina resell). the pineapple looked particularly good but i gifted it to a friend before i could try it.

It's definitely not the most attractive area, (as the tik tok alluded to) but if you're up for some genuine local (as in Hawaiian) food then sometimes that's the way it goes. Seattle will never be Honolulu but if you miss it like we do, you'll try places like this. Some unique offerings like Portuguese bean soup and a chili omelette with rice (that my wife said reminded her of Zippys). They were out of chicken long rice but hopefully we will be able to try that in the future. It's one of our favorites. It's small inside but if you go on a nice day, there is outdoor seating. Summer is right around the corner after all. They're only open from 8-3 sat sun mon so maybe you'll run into Patrick himself like we did!Real nice experience that took us back to Oahu, I recommend giving it a shot

Got some assorted cake slices from the bakery to have as dessert for a family dinner that night. The options were super unique but very appealing for all audiences and taste preferences. All three cakes held up very well in the fridge and were very flavorful. I loved the cream in these as they were very sturdy, not too sweet, and very creamy. Loved the little cozy shop in a cute little house, very accessible in the bustle of white center. Super great staff and will definitely come back for more of their pastries next time!

This place is lovely. When you enter their shop you're immediately hit with scents of coffee and baked goods. The decorum definitely gives a Hawaiian vibe with hand made arts and crafts on the wall and benches for seats. Friendly and courteous staff. Their egg foo young is hearty with nice pieces of meats and vegetables thrown into it; there is a generous amount of white rice includes. My wife got their chili; while a tad salty, it balances well with rice and a runny egg. All the pastries are wonderful and tasted fresh. I practically inhaled their chocolate chip cookies. The next time I visit, I'll order a few of their spam musubs and try their loco moco. I'll see these folks real soon!!

Absolutely delicious! I've been wanting to try this Hawaiian spot and finally made it the other weekend! We dropped by around 10AM on a Sunday morning and it was surprisingly not too busy. There's only about four or so tables to sit at but table turnover is pretty quick so it shouldn't be difficult to find a spot. They also do takeout so not to worry if you can't get a seat. Upfront there's a lot of baked goods to select from as well as a menu with larger breakfast plates. We decided to order the loco moco, biscuits and gravy, and grabbed a few of the pastry items - cheese croissant, haupia cinnamon roll, and lilikoi shortbread cookies. The loco moco was pretty tasty with the eggs made to our request but the portions were just a bit off. There was too much rice. The biscuits and gravy were absolutely delicious! The biscuits were so soft and fresh! I was considering ordering a bunch of biscuits to bring home. The gravy was a good consistency with a reasonable amount of sausage. We brought home the pastry items and they were exceptional! The lilikoi shortbread cookies were so light and had a pleasant ratio of cookie to spread. The haupia cinnamon roll and cheese croissant were so tasty with just a quick heating up in the oven. Very soft and fresh tasting! I'd definitely go back for the pastry items!

We looooveeee Patrick's! Our favorite neighborhood cafe ever since we moved here almost 5 years ago!Out the pastry case our go-tos are the blueberry scone and cinnamon roll. The cinnamon rolls are top tier but we have not found a better blueberry scone. All of the hot foods are very good too. Everything just tastes homemade with love so we try to support this Hawaiian-owned business at least once a month. Thank you for providing such a great establishment in White Center, Patrick and team!
