What a cute spot tucked away outside the city. We came in on a Sunday and had reservations, which is highly recommended and sat immediately. Service did start off a little slow, but then our server got the ball rolling and we have no further complaints except for the multiple flies and mosquitoes that swarmed and our area.. but it's summer totally understand....On the menu is a variety for everyone we got the fajitas and esquites. Complimentary for our table was the octopus and it was delicious!!!!!! The drinks were great I got the Rosa Negra and it was delicious. If you aren't a mezcal fan I don't recommend it but the Boss Margarita was delicious as well. Flan was delicious and so was the ice cream with the churros. Everything was made fresh and seasoned perfectly. We will definitely be back!! Thank you for making my husband and brother in laws birthday fun and delicious!

I went here for dinner for the second time and it was just as good as the first!! I had enchiladas, which had 3 flavors-mole, red sauce and green sauce. All were good but the green is my favorite. I also ordered cheese sauce which was standard..I had a couple of the Boss margarita, except for too much ice. Very good!! Service was a lil slow bit good and the atmosphere was nice. Will return..

The ambiance here is great. I love the music and the decor. This place always has great food and excellent customer service. It is always busy so I highly recommend making a reservation. The steak tacos and super burrito are very yummy. The cocktails can be a hit or miss. I got the Rosa negra and I just took two sips and left the entire thing. My fiancé order the "boss" cocktail and we both didn't like it either. Other than that, this place is a must try.

This is my first time having Patria Cocina, and I have to admit, it's some of the better tex-mex food I've had since leaving Texas. I ordered the chicken fajita platter, and was really impressed by the flavors. There were a couple things that were a bit odd about my order, however. There was a very generous portion of fajita ingredients, which I was very happy about, but they only gave me three tiny little street taco tortillas? I packed the tortillas to their limit, and still had more than half of the ingredients left. Also, with such a large amount of food, they sent the tiniest bag of tortilla chips. I appreciate the inclusion, but given that they are dirt cheap, and the platter is meant to be shared, it was strange that there was only a tiny handful of chips.I also would have loved some shredded cheese to put in my tacos, but that's just a personal preference thing. All that aside, the food was quite good, and I'd definitely eat here again.

One of the best Mexican restaurants I've ever had. We host a monthly art market at Eventide Brewing every last Sunday of the month so we always hit this place for lunch. Be warned, they can get a hefty waitlist and the prices are a little high but it's totally worth it! Damn good food, fun decor & incredible food!!

We came for lunch and were surprised by a brunch menu. Three out of the four of us decided to try something from their brunch menu. The burrito was delicious and is a staple from their menu. The other options were okay. Unfortunately, I am unable to post anymore photos but I think next time I'd go with their tried and true menu. The service wasn't as good as usual but it may have been our waitress. We will return and see how they do next time.

This is now my go-to restaurant for Mexican food! We heard about this place from social media, and it did not disappoint. Located in the Grant Park area, the restaurant was cozy and offered indoor or outdoor seating. Our server was very helpful and gave us great suggestions for food We tried the guacamole, which was so delicious, and tostadas for our appetizers. The mole sauce on the tostadas is the best mole I've had in quite some time. For entrees, he had the Carne asada, and I had the pulpo for my dinner entree it was AMAZING! The octopus was fork tender, and the flavor was out of this world!Definitely try this spot if you love authentic Mexican flavors!

Great spot for a casual dinner. I'm a big fan of their cocktail menu. They have some really fun tequila / margarita cocktails to choose from. The menu is pretty big with options for everyone! We loved their queso. The tacos de papa we really good and the presentation was amazing! Highly suggest these. The fish tacos were also pretty tasty! Would love to come back for brunch!

We waited 20 minutes after being seated and no one came by our table. We asked for a server to take our order (or even just give us some water...) and ended up walking out after 10 more minutes. Also, the back patio has a lot of flies and bees/hornets.
