A must when in Boston! Great ambiance, busy city vibe, able to accommodate our larger party of 6 with no problem.Pizza- thinner crust- great variety, and all dishes packed with flavor.Watermelon salad, eggplant polenta fries, scallops, ravioli- all were fabulous.Friendly, attentive servers.Dined here many times-consistently delicious!

I'd visited Pastoral once before in 2017, and they've stayed pretty consistent! We walked in on a Friday evening as a party of 7 and managed to get seated right away. The interior was spacious and dimly lit, with a modern, almost industrial vibe. For drinks, I got a glass of Chianti, which was fantastic. We asked for some bread for the table, and although the small loaf was warm, it didn't come with butter or olive oil. Not the best! For food, I chose the Chicken Parmesan Pizza. I couldn't resist the combination of two of my favorite foods, and it was tasty, with a generous amount of chicken. The pizza was Neapolitan-style, so the middle was a bit soupy and the slices were kind of messy to eat. My friends also liked the Prosciutto Pizza, Buratta Pizza, and Cacio e Pepe Bucatini. Portion sizes were very generous, and I had plenty of pizza to take home with me. Overall, solid for dinner!

Lots of space for larger groups but by 7 pm, the music gets louder so it's hard to have a conversation.Cucumber cup - very refreshing and highly recommend if you're looking for a nonalcoholic cocktail.Wood-fired octopus - octopus was very tender and flavorful.Caesar - a good Caesar salad but there was a lot of dressing. Would recommend getting the dressing on the side.Arugula - really liked this salad! There wasn't any dressing but it wasn't really needed since there was a jammy egg and pancetta.Roasted garlic knot - garlicky and fluffy knot.Calamari - very crispy and fresh calamari. I really liked the baked kale.Long bean cacio e pepe - the long bean was very good and makes a tasty low carb option.Funghi - highly recommend the funghi pizza! The crust was a little dense and chewy but still good.Fennel sausage pizza - it's pretty salty so I wish there was something that could balance it out. I did like how crispy the fennel sausage was though.

Very good but not without room for improvement, however I feel they still deserve a 5/5 considering how inflated these ratings are. I also appreciated their attempts at more creative dishes. Ambience was ok, service was somewhat clumsy.

We landed late a few weeks ago on our trip to Boston and were browsing the delivery apps for some late night pizza when we came across Pastoral and figured we give it a try when we saw the Chicken Parm pizza. We opted for the Chicken Parmesan and Margherita pizzas and the roasted garlic knot. The Chicken Parmesan was the star of the order for me. The chicken was perfectly fried and all the toppings were fresh and full of flavor, all on top of a wonderfully wood-fired crust. The Margherita pizza was perfectly cooked and full of flavor as well. I would honestly order both of these again if visiting again. The Garlic Knot on the other hand I would probably pass on. I am a garlic lover don't get me wrong, but this was a tad too much in my opinion. The dough itself was fairly thin and then it was loaded with probably 3 bulbs worth of garlic cloves. Just a bit too much in my opinion. All in all I would still recommend grabbing some pizzas here if ever in the area!

I always walk by this place and was interested in the food and this time we got to finally try it! Pretty underrated place in Seaport especially for the value you get! We came on a Saturday early dinner time and were able to get seated without reservations. For the three of us, we ordered two entrees and an appetizer and everything was amazing. I would have probably liked one more entree but that means we get to come back! Would highly recommend.

Yummy yummy Pizza! My friend and I were craving pizza and decided to try this place on a Friday night. The modern decor is very nice! There is plenty of seating for small and big groups. The restaurant has a very nice brick pizza oven that is visible from the seating area. The menu has several appetizers and pizza options. There are also alcoholic beverages and even cocktails to choose from. I decided on getting a cider with my pizza and I think that was a good choice because it went so well with my food. For pizza I ordered the Diablo pizza which was covered with tons of sausage and slices of jalapenos. And I also ordered their margarite since the pizzas are personal thin crust size. The margarite was perfect! The thin crust was nice and crispy and there was tons of melted cheese. Both pizzas tasted great and the waitress was very nice and attentive. I will definitely come back and try their other pizza specialties!

I order from this place all the time since I live close by. Went to pick up my order today and had someone closely examine my receipt, as if I was stealing my pickup order. He blocked me from leaving and literally took my phone from my hand to then scroll and confirm. No thank you, nothing. Normally I just give my last name and pick up. Instructions say pick up from pick up counter, so if the receipt needs to be front and center then say so on the pickup instructions. Or keep it behind counter and have people provide name/receipt.

Really great pizza place in Boston! They have a lot of different kinds, not your typical pepperoni pizza joint. Definitely recommend.

Bad food. Never order the garlic knot. Cesar salad has no flavor and chicken parm pizza was pretty much just chicken nuggets on a pizza.
