This place is a neighborhood gem. If you live in the CD, please consider supporting it when you get the munchies...need a potato or onion or cheese for dinner...or maybe need some TB or hand sanitizer. They seem to have everything a person could possibly need. The people who work the desk are very friendly. A few weeks ago, I saw the owner walking a visually impaired customer home from a trip to the store. We need more of this!

Great selection of all of the things you need from a mini-mart, and the folks there are really nice! I'm a life-long Parnell's customer!

I always joke that if you looked up "sketchy convenience store" in the dictionary, there'd be a picture of Parnells. Indeed, it's dimly lit, with faded signage and there are usually at least three or four sketchy-looking individuals hanging out in the parking lot, or around the corner. But if you can get past the sketchy people (and they're generally very polite to me), it's not too bad of a place. In fact, it's a fine place to buy candy, soda and beer. Prices are reasonable and they have a lot of selection. If you walk to the back, you can find milk, eggs, frozen dinners, and pantry staples. The owners are quiet and mild mannered, but look like they could kick some serious ass if the situation called for it.So even though I would love it if they tore it down and put a Trader Joe's in its place, it's perfectly fine for what it is.

I go to Parnell's almost everyday for my beer run. The staff there is always nice, and professional. They also have beers that cost $1.30,and this is a great deal especially toward the end of the month when funds are low. I also enjoy the fried chicken, and egg rolls. There are some interesting characters around the store at times. But they have never bothered me. I like Parnell's

Last of the, "Ma & Pa shop." As well as one or two up on Beacon Hill. This one is the only one open so late, (helpful) and such a nice man at the till. Please support Japanese American business.

This place is a great regular corner store. Not sure why people are blaming what goes on in the community on this corner store... weird. Great wine selection. Parking is wonky, but they do the best with their space. They always have zig zags and a good food selection too. Open later. Nice to have a bodega close by in Seattle.

Love this mini mart, lots of good snacks and drinks and honestly not that much more expensive than any nearby stores. Great staple ingredients as well like potatoes and onions, lemons and sauces, etc. Shop local!
