The onion rings had real onions in them, not minced. The burger was cooked in order, and both were served piping hot with terrific flavor.I will return when I am in the area again. While every bar and restaurant in the area was packed, our group of seven was grateful to be accommodated by Parkview Tap House at the last minute on Superbowl Sunday. Parkview Tap House is divided into two sections: the bar and the restaurant. My husband called ahead and they had room for us in their restaurant. Though it's not as lively as the bar area, we were content to have a cozy spot to enjoy our meal and watch the game, thanks to the large projector in the restaurant.Our group ordered a variety of appetizers, drinks, and entrees. As a pescatarian, I had limited options so I opted for the fish tacos, which came with cheese, lettuce, and tomato toppings. To be honest, my expectations were not high, and the tacos did not impress me. I couldn't help but wonder if I was better off getting a cheese pizza instead. On the other hand, the appetizers were better. I also tried a spicy margarita, which was pretty decent. To our surprise, they have an ice cream bar so of course we all got ice cream for dessert. The staff was exceptional. Our server didn't miss a beat. She was quick to respond to requests and kept our glasses full. Five stars for the staff!

Excellent Bar/Sportsbar.. nice friendly employees foods good, fish on Friday is excellent..It's a wonderful place with excellent sound system...

Update Feb 2024: Still our favorite date spot and the addition of house made Ranch dressing made it even better thank you for another great time!

Came for late lunch / early dinner with friends. I got a bowl of chicken noodle soup, and my wife and her friend got the Chicken Quesadias with salsa and quacamole. Ladies food was great...my soup was lukewarm, and had to ask for a soup spoon and crackers. We also got a Dr Pepper and lemonade, and topped it off with scoops of ice cream (I got Mint Chocolate Chip). Overall a good visit.

Everyone was very nice and helpful! The food was very flavorful - great buns on the burger. We also got the ceaser salad, which was great as well. Lots of beer options on tap, which was fun to choose from. The food menu was very limited though - and would have liked sauce on my burger.

Overall pretty good! Much better than I expected. Walking in reveals old school tables and chairs, a low drop ceiling, and an aura that screams "I need a makeover!" The lady that greeted us was initially a grumpy turd, but after she talked to us and realized we were nice people, she became a sweetheart. Odd. I got the mushroom burger, medium-rare, which came with fries. The burger was greasy as heck, but good! It was leaning more towards the rare side, which was a red flag, but I didn't get sick, so that's good. The fries were decent, but not enough of them, and they're clearly out of Wal-Mart or some similar place. My sister had the pulled pork sandwich, which she loved. It didn't come with enough BBQ sauce, so they had to bring out 2 more cups for her. We both had the Huss Brewing "Scottsdale Blond" ale out of the tap, and it was delicious as always. It was served in PBR glasses, which I found a bit odd, but hey! Overall I left a bit surprised! Just needs an update on the inside and this place would be even better. Oh, and one thing that DID SUCK was that all the TV's in the place had basketball playing. zzzzzzzzzzzzz Put on some hockey or something!

Stopped here for a burger and pie. I opted for the California burger, and it did not disappoint. I'll be back.

We ordered a $16.99 chef salad which came with warm lettuce and the thinnest slice of Turkey and ham that you could see through them, and it was 1 slice of turkey and 1 slice of ham cut into 4 strips! Not worth 10 bucks let alone $16.99 !Also ordered a diner salad that had several pieces of brown lettuce. Chicken wings were a little overcooked but were served hot and with fresh carrots and celery. My boyfriend ended up not eating since it was his salad but they still changed him for a soft drink that he did it even finish. Server said they would not take drink off the bill. Wished we would have taken pictures of salad.

If you want an atmosphere where you can converse with friends DO NOT GO TO MUSIC SIDE. Canned music was Sooo loud it was nearly impossible to chat with my friend across table. I asked Milt (owner) if he could tune it down a bit. NO, GO TO OTHERSIDE! response. Maybe we will just avoid this restaurant with that attitude to customers. This was NOT live music which we've attended. Food n service otherwise was fine. Also I was not only one to complain.
