Park Place Liquor & Deli

I've been frequenting this establishment since nearly the beginning of my career in the U.S. NAVY (2000). Ownership changed hands near 2006 timeframe I believe, and it's done nothing but please customers since!! This is a STAPLE of Coronado, and somewhat a right-of-passage for those stationed or visiting "North Island".Question: If you come to the Island and haven't frequented Park Place, have you ever really been?Answer: No. No you have not. :- )Here I have my "Go To", their ABC on Sourdough.Trust me when I say "It's WORTH it!!"

Sandwiches are delicious! And what a great beer selection! I've tried numerous sandwiches and all were good! Quickly made and friendly service. I come here anytime I can.

Don't be intimidated with the location of the shop. This is my go to whenever visiting the area. Their sandwiches are absolutely delicious!! My favorite is the El Diablo but you really can't go wrong with anything you choose. Lines can get long but service is fast and friendly. Highly recommend

Delicious vegan sandwich with lots of fresh veggies and sprouts! Had jalapeno and mustard that gave it an extra kick!!

Best vegetarian sandwich in Coronado. . It's called the "Natural". Ask for on whole wheat bread and hold the cheese. You will be rewarded.

The sandwiches here are good. I recommend stopping in if you're on the island. There's usually a line but it moves fast. Service is good. The sandwich shop is located in a liquor store, but you don't need to walk all the way to the other side to find the deli counter (like some other sandwich shops I have been to). For me, that's a plus.

I got the Sharon's special, outstanding sandwich. Sharon was an absolute sweetheart and don't take a nap on the deviled eggs. Served with crackers which I thought was weird but trust me they work together very well. Will be back as soon as I return to San Diego.

Great staff, great prices, and most importantly, great food!! Got a classic turkey sandwich and although it's simple, they just make it RIGHT. The turkey was delicious, great quality. Opted for sourdough bread and it was nice and soft, the veggies were fresh, and they use just the right of mayo and mustard. On top of that, service was great and extremely fast. I was in and out in about 5 minutes. No complaints and would go back every day if I lived in SD!

The sandwiches are the best! Always made with fresh ingredients and they have a huge selection of chips and snacks.
