This location is a must go when any friends or family ask me for recommendations while visiting San Diego. The croissant I had was simply the best I've ever tasted-- perfectly baked and wonderfully soft and airy on the inside. Same goes for the danishes. The rolled croissants come in various flavors that rotate out. Anything pistachio based is great but so are the strawberry pastries! The family who runs the bakery is incredibly warm and welcoming, adding a personal touch to every visit - excellent customer service that will have you coming back. If you're in the area, make sure to stop by and treat yourself. You won't be disappointed!

Ever seen an edible art gallery? Look no further--this is probably the best you'll find. Tucked away inside a charming boutique gift shop, this pastry haven presents each item like a masterpiece. The taste? Absolutely divine. Think cream-filled croissants and mousse desserts so realistic they could double as sculptures.Sure, it's a bit pricy, but resisting temptation here is nearly impossible. I initially ordered my treats to go, but the allure was too strong; I decided to sit outside for a quick taste. The server graciously brought me plates and forks, a testament to their exceptional service--especially given the challenge of bussing multiple orders. If I could suggest one improvement, it would be to warm the croissants. I reheated mine in an air fryer at home, and it elevated the experience to another level. Though I understand it might be tricky for those covered in chocolate. Just a personal preference. And yes, they serve excellent coffee that pairs perfectly with the pastries.

When I parked in front of this business to go to the yoga studio across the street, I knew that I would be coming back afterwards for coffee and pastries. There was no denying the siren song of carbs and caffeine with a cute storefront. The interior of this bakery was a little confusing. There was just kind of a crowd of people standing around and I couldn't tell where the line began or ended. Didn't have to wait long though before someone greeted me to take my order. I got a quiche and a latte which I had there and took home a pistachio filled croissant. The latte was good, standard, but nothing to rave about. The quiche (didn't take a pic of it) was delicious, but I thought it was kind of strange that it wasn't heated up before it was served to me. When I got home, I split the pistachio croissant with my man. The pastries here are very good. Probably one of the best I have had in San Diego. I'm always searching for delicious croissants and don't understand why the United States doesn't seem to be able to serve croissants on par with any other country in the world that I have been to. It was crispy and flaky with just the lightest hint of butter. I was surprised at the amount of filling in this croissant. It was almost kind of like a doughnut. Not sure I would get this exact one again. I was totally staring down the fruit and cheese, danishes, and some of the cream cheese stuffed croissants. Basically anything with cheese.... That's what I should've gotten!

We had an amazing time at this cute little cafe / bakery in the back of a home decor store in La Jolla. We came here upon the recommendation of our friend, and it did not disappoint!Even though it is set in the back of a home decor store, we felt like we were swept away to Europe. This especially was true when we had the Almond croissant, which was very crispy on the outside and soft on the inside with just a hint of sweetness, and delicious almond paste flavor. It tasted very fresh. The service was fantastic, and we were greeted with the friendliest manner by Annie, who is the owner of this café for the past 3 years. She told us that she started out in catering in paris, and open this bakery, which also does catering and corporate events. We spoke with her son Jonathan who was working at the bakery, and they were all very friendly and kind. And he was wearing a t-shirt from the Parisian Olympics which she just returned from, and you could feel the energy of Paris through this bakery. This was our first time at this place. We would definitely come back again!

I am a pastry lover and based on the photos on Yelp, Parisien was right up my alley. It's a little hard to find because it's inside of like a boutique store and that wasn't clear to me based on the photos or the address. It's actually at the very back of the store too. The storefront is really cute though with florals hanging by the sign and a few patio chairs.I walked over on a Saturday morning and the line was pretty long but it moved quickly and they had plenty of pastries. My husband and I shared a Nutella pastry and it was really flakey and filled with the smooth Nutella. It was a nice little Saturday experience.

This bakery is hidden at the back of a very cute gift shop on Girard in La Jolla downtown. And as you walk towards the back you'll see a a very cute Front entrance to a Parisian bakery -- right away you will see shelves of colorful pastries available for that day. Due to the limited hours I'm only able to come on occasion but when I am able it's absolutely lovely because I know I'm going to get something tasty.I usually order one of the circular croissants and then a regular shaped croissant to go. They provide utensils and napkins so you can eat in front of their store or outside in front of the gift shop.I ordered mango passion fruit croissant, the Biscof croissant, and the strawberry cream croissant this past week. They were all delicious but if I were to rank them I would go strawberry, biscof, and then the mango for this visit.

Nothing can get better than a beautiful sunny and warm summer day in La Jolla, feeling like you are in the 'Cute d'azur' with your bestie and getting some delicate French patisserie and coffee. The coolest part is that this is like a speakeasy for patisserie...you have to enter a gift shop/floral kiosk included to get there. The pastries are to die for, both in taste and looks. I like the pink plates and gold cutlery. Everything is perfect and I am happy when I go and they are still open! (Been many times where they run out of goodies and close early).

Yes, this cute little patisserie is located in the back of a home goods store! Quaint Parisian flowery vibes if I've ever felt them. Paid like 8 dollars for a creme filled biscoff roll croissant. The biscoff was soggy and creme was a little too obtrusive, but man I am such a sucker for boujee overpriced carbs and fat. My friend got like a Nutella swirl chocolate croissant something also filled with creme, it was pretty good! If I were to go back, I'd have to try everything out just to make a fair judgement, but for now I leave you with a jumble of a review. If you like spending the price of two pounds of chicken on your pastries, drop in here!
