Love this bakery!!! I'm so happy they came to Carlsbad. We frequent this place almost biweekly and the quality of their items have always been consistently delicious. I've been to other locations too and this one is always so clean. It's spacious and always organized.We love the ham and cheese croissant, the jalapeño cheese croissant, the egg tarts, the curry croquettes, the fruit tarts, red bean bread, chocolate bread, pizzas, cheesecakes, sandwiches, strawberry cream cake and chocolate and vanilla teddy bears! I'm sure there's more I'm missing but we order here a lot. We got cakes from here for birthday parties and the boxes are so study and they even offer cake knives and candles. You can preorder online as well.The staff is always so friendly and I love that you can look into the kitchen. They work so hard preparing the baked goods and they do such a great job. My daughters also love the tongs and trays. It makes it so fun for them to select our bread for the week. They also have points you can earn to get free pastries which is awesome. Highly recommend coming here!

Absolutely recommend the orange zest "croissant donut." It's easily a viral TikTok away from Paris Baguette having lines out the door. In general, I've never had a pastry I didn't like. They're all pretty amazing and surprisingly, rarely out of stock. Coffee is just OK. You just sort of get it because it's there. Expensive! Getting a box of pastries and coffee will set you back an uncomfortable amount. You'll see the price and be like, "Maybe, this is a special occasion kind of place..."Service is not the greatest. They're not at all unfriendly, just sort of aloof? I don't know how else to describe it. Lots of younger people working there and they just seem scattered and a bit slow. As for ambiance, its fine. It's always packed and busy. I wouldn't want to sit inside (if I could even find a seat), and sitting outside is kind of lame as you'd be near the parking lot. Recommend just taking food to go!

I can't believe this is my first time here! The bakery has so many options, from a great coffee selection and sandwiches to an assortment of bakery treats! I opted for a tuna sandwich that I devoured before I could take a photo. They make their sandwiches fresh daily, and the bread with my sandwich was so pillowy and delicious! I'm definitely coming back for their tuna sandwich again and to get more pastries--I just have to do it in moderation because everything looked so good.For dessert, I got an assortment of treats that satisfied my cravings for the week:Strawberry Nutella Pastry - This was delicious! My husband and I really enjoyed it.Soft Cheesecake - It's got a tasty, sweet cheesecake flavor in a heavenly sponge cake texture.Sweet Potato Bread - I personally think the bread lacked a bit of flavor, but the filling was good.Twisted Donut - Fantastic!This bakery was clean, quite spacious, and has a friendly, professional staff. Parking was easy--it's located in a plaza right by a Vons Grocery Store and other businesses. Paris Baguette also has trays and tongs for customers to select bakery goodies to their liking. Stop by and visit! I'll be coming again and again.

Spacious, natural light, friendly staff, lots of seats, outlets on booth side, free wifi, two unisex single-stall bathrooms, lots of parking, lots of pastries and cafe menu (similar to Starbucks but cheaper), low music plus white noise of refrigerator. Perfect place to study! I got a rooibos hot tea w/half steamed soy milk, and it was good. I'll try thechamomile next time (more non-caffeinated options than Starbucks). They use Lavazza coffee and Palais de Tes tea (sp?). I highly recommend!

I gave them another try to be fair and truth be told, I LOVE pastries. I hadn't eaten yet today and it's almost 5 and they were right next to another business I was using. I got the chicken, bacon, ranch pizza item and it became the last item I will order from this place. The management got ahold of me asking to give them another chance and to ask for them by name. As an Elite Yelper I won't do that but will generally give someone a second chance. The item was warmed up and is completely soggy in the bottom. The bacon feels like it was cooked days ago, because it's just dried out like jerky, and not in a good way. Now I have to go buy my dinner somewhere else, even Jack-in-the-box does croissant pastries better. I did give the extra star for the friendly staff at least.

Been to the one in Mira Mesa and was excited when this one was opening. Love the ham and cheese croissant. It's very crispy and "dry" but if you warm it out, it's a game changer, my favorite. The custard bread and chocolate bread were a hit. And the sausage roll, it's a nice combination of savory and a hint of sweet. The inside is very clean, and the people were super nice. Definitely not something to eat all the time as it is pricey. If you're going to spend the money, get the ham and cheese croissant and ask them to heat it up!

Wow! How awesome that there's a Paris Baguette in North County. I loved the coffee shop vibes, the cleanliness of the place, and the amazing pastries they offered. There are many 2-4 person tables (indoor only)-- I saw many working on their laptops there. The line for the cashier moved fairly quickly (shout out to Remy!). I went at 5pm on a Sunday and everything was still fresh. It's the type of bakery where you pick up a pair of tongs and you load up either your tray or a to-go box. They offer a slew of pastries, donuts, tarts, croissants, along with savory items like croquette, wraps, and sandwiches. My personal favorites were the Very Berry Pastry, Fruit Bite, and the Jumbo Twisted Donut. By the register, they offer cakes whole and by the slice-- my favorite is the Mocha Cake. They also have a pretty hefty drinks/coffee menu. I only ordered sweet items this time and I'd love to come back to try out their savory options and their drinks!

I LOVE this place! Perfect spot for a sweet treat or awesome lunch. I came here with my mother for lunch and we both got ham and cheese croissants (they offer to toast them at check out - a must!). And we shared a chocolate ganache slice of cake as it was her birthday. It was topped with a chocolate macaroon which was tasty. I can't wait to go back and try everything else! So many options from pastries to sandwiches and a variety of beverages. Great price point too! $17 for three items. Can't wait to go back!

Love Love Love I'm so glad a Paris Baguette popped up in our neighborhood! Yay for North County! They have a whole case of freshly made sandwiches as well as full cakes to purchase. I was surprised at how many drinks there were too. From hot or cold coffee and cold brews to hot and iced teas. They serve LavAzza Italian Coffee by the way.There's also a good handful of Holiday flavors to add as well. Watch out Starbucks!

Wanted to buy a cake to try out. After looking at the options, we decided to try the duet roll cake, half chocolate half raspberry. The inside looks nice, clean and bright. Pastries and cakes on display looks delicious. Prices are higher than a local bakery which is understandable as they are a franchise. When we got home to try out the cake, it is not the easiest thing to open. Box was also closed all around so you can't see the inside. Once opened, there was another plastic casing around it. For the price, the taste was just okay wouldn't purchase it again nothing remarkable. Maybe we'll try the pastries or other cakes.
