Parioli Italian Bistro

In town for a work trip. Trust me it's hard to be here for work and not for play. It's next to the courtyard where I am staying. I was so spent this afternoon... I almost stayed in my room and bought a bottle of wine for dinner.... But my husband talked me into at least getting out for dinner.... I walked a grand total of 1 minute to this little place next door. Yes, it is a little hole in the wall...... but a cute little hole in the wall. I sat at the bar. Sweetest waitress in the world took care of me as I talked to my husband on the phone while I ate. She was awesome.. so sweet and she seemed to feel my stress. The puttanesca with shrimp I had was VERY good. The olive appetizer was incredible too!I loved this place. I got tiramisu to go ( you know... for breakfast haha). Hopefully I will come visit Solana Beach again soon... for fun and not work. When I do, I will definitely come back to this sweet little place. It turned my frown upside down.

I have driven by this place for years and always have wondered about it. It always looked dead when I drove by. Well, I went to dinner a few weeks ago here, and I've been two more times since. Making up for lost time.I had their lasagne, and it was great. The time before I had meatballs and garlic bread. Also delicious. I am obsessed with their garlic bread. They serve it cut up in little triangles and serve with warm marinara. Yum. Good service and nice ambiance with a fireplace and full bar.It was busy because apparently everyone just walks over here from the hotel and local neighborhoods.

Take out or dine in!!! This is the BEST pizza and Italian food and AUTHENTIC. Secret spot low key. It's legitimately the best and why not support a small business! Quirky cute place cozy, nice staff, great chef, indoor or outdoor seating. Parking lot is small there's parking in the back and in the street. Amazing food all around and fun little spot to visit after the beach or for a special occasion or anytime. Garden out back great for large parties or rent the entire space.

The ambiance could use an upgrade but the table by the fireplace is adorable. Service was friendly but I'd go with your own preferences over their recommendations. The lasagne was delicious and the chicken mushroom cream sauce pappardelle was a hard pass. We asked for salt and that helped, but I normally prefer white sauces and I'd not choose that again. The burrata was interesting since it came with a cold grilled eggplant and raw red onion. They have their own parking spots, which is nice.

Just want to say this was my first time trying this place for me and my family and it was outstanding. We didn't eat there but as we walked there being down the street from our hotel it was nice and clean with tables outside and in with a bar as you enter. Food was great ! As it looked just like the picture it didn't disappoint. Service was great, food was done by the time we walked there and the ambiance is just a laid back relaxing atmosphere. Does seem like anything moves to fast in Solana Beach. But, overall great experience and will definitely go back.

This place is right next to the hotel that I stayed at while visiting family. I've seen it a couple times but never ate there till now. It's a little expensive but so delicious! My mom and I shared the baked eggplant parmigiana and the lobster ravioli and holy moly! Lots of flavor and the eggplant was a good portion and came with penne pasta and marinara. I also had a side of the garlic bread which was soft and yummy. I will definitely order from them at my next visit.

Service was great. Food was fresh and tasty. The owner was very attentive to all the guests. We just stopped for dessert and coffee. We weren't planning to eat here. We ended up having a nice glass of wine and some appetizers which is incredible. Highly recommended.

Great food!! So happy to see that the quality of pasta and dishes are better than ever! The owner and the server were lovely and working their tails off! Had the lovster ravioli, the garlic bread and the chicken with tagliatelle pasta!!

Really nice, casual Italian bistro. We had a delicious lunch. The burrata was wonderful as was the carpaccio, lasagna, and sautéed squid in a pesto sauce. The owner/chef, Antonio, waited on us and we discussed his recipe for bolognese sauce.

The food was quick and delicious! Enjoyed the friendly service. They accommodated kids too with their pasta and butter with side of marinara sauce. The ambiance was peaceful and quietly social for a Saturday. Margarita on the rocks was made well too!! Outside patio was pretty too just some road noise.
