MATCHA HEAVEN!!! calling all the match girlies, this is it. Such sweet and cute shop with an amazing staff.

Super close to the beach and a good view. But the drinks are just ok. I got the Mayan mocha. As an Indian who can handle a good amount of spice, it was way too hot to drink even a few sips. I wanted some caffeine so ordered a cappuccino and that was great. My cousin ordered iced lavender latte which was very basic. Good place and barista just order the regular drinks instead of the fancy ones.

This store has the best location and views! I always like the drinks from Parakeet. Although it's kinda pricey, drinks are very delicious. I enjoyed their tea, matcha latte and chai. Plus you can't beat the view here. I'm so glad now La Jolla Cove has a coffee shop that can see the views.

I ordered a simple black drip coffee and when the girl put it on the counter I noticed coffee grounds floating on the top so I said something, and she said she would get me a new one. She didn't, said she strained it three times. The coffee was so light. It tasted very watered down. The blueberry muffin was not good at all. Very disappointed. I was so excited to try here. Be careful!

Wifey and I had the pleasure of finding this little gem today! It's a beautiful set up directly across from the La Jolla Cove Park. The staff were awesome and the manager Savannah was really cool! I had a dirty turmeric latte and wifey had a cacao chai. Drinks were great and it was the perfect spot to work, relax or socialize. Just make sure you have a hot spot if you plan to work!

I enjoyed a nice matcha hot tea with a touch of honey from this Parakeet Cafe location at La Jolla Cove Hotel & Suites. With the matcha tea, I had a pulled apart baked good, too.The matcha was very good. The young lady who made it did a very good job preparing it. It offered that good matcha flavor, hardly any bitterness, and a touch of sweet from the honey towards the end. The pull apart was good. It had different levels of flavors and chocolate chips in it as well. I was not as pleased with its texture as I thought I was going to be, but it was tasty.Service was prompt and friendly. They offer mostly morning beverages, baked goods, and some small bites at this location only. They don't offer the extensive menu as the other Parakeet Cafe's do.

Aesthetic Cafe Vibes When in La Jolla make sure to checkout one of two locations (the one by the beach only serves delicious drinks and pastries, but the in land location which is only a 10 minute walk away also serves beautiful dishes).We Tried: Flat Black (Activated charcoal, homemade lavender honey, milk) $7 Turmeric Latte (Turmeric, ginger, vanilla, cardamom, honey, unsweetened almond milk) $7 Iced Matcha Latte With A Twist (Matcha, blue spirulina, raw honey, milk) $9Cookie & CroissantThe drinks were delicious, refreshing, and packed with flavour. I love this location. The patio overlooking the ocean is gorgeous. I had an iced mint latte and loved it. Flavorful and not overly sweet. FYI at this location they only serve drinks and pastries. If you want the full food menu be sure to check out one of their other locations.

Great location and great service. They have wonderful baristas, but unfortunately there is a constant turnover of staff due to what I've heard is extremely difficult management. Note to management--TAKE CARE OF YOUR STAFF BETTER!!!!
