I come here every now and then.Food is authentic and service is great.Price is understandable, slightly more expensive than what it should be. Biggest issue is serving size. You're not getting an appropriate serving size for the amount that you're paying. Very stingy.

Cute spot with a good selection of food items and Filipino items in the store. Workers were very nice, but seemed to get a bit overwhelmed when it was busy. Took a while to be able to check out on the store side. We got the longanisa, tinola, adobo, and dinaguan. They were solid, hit the spot. Puto was a bit small, but really yummy.

If you're craving authentic, delicious Filipino food, Paraiso is the place to go! They offer a variety of dishes from the familiar adobo to more complex dishes like kare kare (oxtail stew) and every one we've tried is so tasty! The owners are so kind, hospitable and make everyone feel welcomed. Prices are very reasonable too. The restaurant is decorated with lots of beautiful Filipino art that's fun to look at while you devour your meal. Also check out the Filipino grocery store connected to the restaurant. It's full of products from the Philippines!

The best way to experience this restaurant is to go inside and order when you get there. It's not the kind of place I would call ahead and order from because you need to look at all of the various dishes in the hot case and choose which ones you like. The atmosphere was convivial with several groups of old schoolers and young families alike. The lady with her daughter standing next to us suggested a few dishes that she's had time and again, and we followed her suggestions while adding some of our own. Everything here hit the spot and scratched that itch for Filipino home cooked comfort food. The pork adobo was delicious, as was the shrimp in coconut sauce with green beans and squash. Generous servings and crispy lumpia make this a must-stop if you're in the area and have a craving for Filipino food.

The food brought back so many memories! There were many dishes already cooked (options change daily.) and other dishes that can be made to order. The atmosphere reminds me so much of home, and the customer service was top tier. There's also a Filipino based store attached that has many Filipino local favorites. I got the pork sinigang, which had the right amount of sourness and tender meat. Also had the dishes for dine in, and the plates used reminded me of eating at home. (Comfort) The pork adobo and lechon kawali, were absolutely delicious! The lechon was extremely crispy and comes with a vinegary dipping sauce. Had to get some banana turon to go, and wow, they did not disappoint! The crispiness was there, and it wasn't too sweet. Will definitely come by again!

I had an intense craving for diniguan aka chocolate meat (at least that is what I tell my toddler). So I sought out a Filipino joint that can serve my needs. It's a neat place that serves classic Filipino food cafeteria style. They have drinks and desserts everything you can almost think of bc there is a store connected to it. The service was great, the lady behind the counter was jolly and let us try things we were curious about and explained to us what things were. The food was bomb and fulfilled my cravings. The diniguan (sp) was rich in flavor and had a lil kick of spicy and vinegar. It was just gravy goodness like give it to me in a cup! Sig sig was good I'm just used to it having a bit of spice and the ground beef thing I think it's called picadillo but it's your standard meat and potatoes hearty meal. Not pictured was lumpia and my eating partners meal that consisted of kare kare and adobo and they did it was good. Why 4 stars if everything was good you ask? The price compared to portion we couldn't find it justifiable. Maybe I'm just used to American portions but their portions for the price was small.

We loooove their fruit salad! I always go here for that! I've also tried their crispy pata and lechon. Although lechon a little pricey. The crispy pata was cooked to perfection, crispy outside and tender inside! Portions are decent, normal size. Food: 7/10. Customer service was ok. It was busy when we went in, but they were doing their best. Athmosphere was small mom and pop vibe. Would recommend if u are in lake wood!

Fast and friendly service. The food tasted great and the portion size for the price I was charged for was decent. Ordered the two meat combo that consist of 3 Longanisa and dinuguan along with 2 big scoops of rice. The flavor of the diniguan and the extra sauce on the Longanisa was delicious. I liked how they had the sausage in extra sauce that made it seem like it was smothered in gravy. For dessert, I had the pandan and jelly cup. One of the best Filipino dessert I have ever had. I recommend this place over maresol any day!

I'm so happy my friend introduced me to this hidden gem!!! We were craving halo halo and she told me that we needed to go to Paraiso! She said their food and service were top notch and she was right! The owner was really kind and had a great sense of humor! I'm really picky when it comes to eating Filipino food outside of my family's cooking, but wow... I was impressed! I ordered the kare kare and it hit the spot! Creamy, meat nice and tender, and was so tasty especially with the bagoong! My friend ordered the caldareta and grilled squid which were both delicious too! We also got gulaman and halo halo!!! Both were perfect for a hot day! Can't wait to come back!
