I would give this place 10 stars if I could! 5 for the food and 5 for the lovely employees. It was my first time here and they took the time to explain everything on the menu and help me pick something that I loved. There was something for everyone: vegan, no sugar, and low sugar! Heidi, Carly, and Alicia were amazing and brought up the energy in the store. I didn't feel rushed at all and the experience felt very personal. I'm definitely going to return and try everything this store has to offer!

Love that they always have one or two flavor option for no-sugar-added or sugar free. Cute, eclectic deco. Friendly service. This is not a self-serve.

Disappointing Experience After 20 Years of PatronageAs a loyal customer for over 20 years, it deeply saddens me to share this experience. My 13-year-old son has a severe peanut allergy, which we have made known to the owner multiple times over the past decade. Despite assurances that precautions would be taken, our recent visit left us feeling heartbroken and unsafe. We have always taken extra steps to ensure my son's safety, following the owner's recommendation to get oat vanilla and sprinkles from the back. Today, however, the owner bluntly stated that serving my son was at our own risk due to the potential for cross-contamination, with peanuts visibly present everywhere. My son had a meltdown, feeling the weight of another place where he can't safely enjoy a treat. It's incredibly tough for children with allergies to face constant restrictions, and the emotional and mental toll is immense. I wish more people understood the severity of allergies and the impact on those who suffer from them. Changes to accommodate allergy sufferers could make a significant difference. As a mother, I'm deeply saddened and disappointed. I hope this review brings awareness to the challenges faced by those with allergies and encourages more inclusive practices.

Paradise yogurt is my go to spot for açaí and frozen yogurt in mission valley. The peanut butter açaí bowl, with extra peanut butter, granola and honey is the best item on the menu. The peanut butter açaí bowl alone deserves five stars. The frozen yogurt is also delicious, without being too sweet or tasting artificial. The parfaits are not good - I've tried a couple different flavors and they taste like nothing. So, why do I only give Paradise Yogurt only four stars?Occasionally, the staff, who are overall pleasant, forget to add condiments that are included in the item or requested separately. Also, the seating arrangement inside is cramped and outside space is limited. They used to have a big problem with a group of people coming around 8pm on the week days, taking up all the outside seating space and smoking, despite signs saying "no smoking" and no staff enforcement. I haven't seen that crowd lately, so hopefully that's resolved.

I strongly advise against visiting this establishment. My experience was far from satisfactory due to the high prices, lack of cleanliness, and unprofessional behavior from the staff.Upon entering, I requested the smallest size, known as the mini. I specified my toppings: strawberry, blueberry, and rainbow sprinkles. To my surprise, I was given a cup that appeared much larger than a mini. When I inquired about this, I was informed that the additional toppings necessitated a larger size. Consequently, I ended up paying nearly $9 for what should have been the smallest option, which is exorbitant. Moreover, the employees displayed a lack of respect. They exchanged glances and mocked me when I questioned the price and size discrepancy. When I requested a refund, they refused, instead demonstrating why the toppings couldn't fit into a smaller cup and justifying the $9 charge. Frustrated, I began recording the interaction on my phone. In response, the employee threw my frozen yogurt into the trash, leaving me without the product or a refund. This experience was highly disappointing. For further evidence of their poor service, I am attaching a video of the incident and reviews from other dissatisfied customers. Save your time and money by avoiding this place.

The homey ambiance is FABULOUS!!! I absolutely love the kitschy vibe here and the two gals behind the counter were fun, helpful and kind. My teenage kids and I wanted a fun treat and ended up here because it was the only yogurt place open until 10:30pm in the vicinity. What a great find! We loved the vibe immediately, with the cozy chairs, book trading library, fun decor and lots of tasty options. We signed up as new customers and got a free mini yogurt which was delicious. We also got two hurricanes that were big and delicious. Will definitely be back again!

OBSESSED with their açaí bowls!!! No kidding I get one at least once a week. They actually blend the Açaí there from purée and it is not overly sweet at all. The bowls are generously portioned, come layered with frozen yogurt, and are topped with tons of fresh fruit, honey and oats. Plus their peanut butter sauce is to die for OMG.And this is also a great place to come for FroYo, they've got different flavors every day and I love the different options of low-calorie and vegan flavors too. Plus they've got a mini size which is usually what I order and it is plenty for a snack. The mini size is 6 ounces! They've got a lot of good flavors but I really enjoy when they have a chocolate/cappuccino swirl option, the toasted coconut topping just puts it over the edge.Another really cool thing about this spot is the book exchange they have for their patrons. It's like going to the library kind of. Bring a book you are done with and exchange it for something

The place is visually lackluster and dirty. The workers (at least the 3 that served us) are incredibly careless and rude. As for 2 of the servers, when they weren't serving us (which was most of the time), they were whispering and snickering with each other, while the other who seemed new & in training was left figuring everything out. There are way too many "rules" for ordering there (they have dozens of hand-written signs posted everywhere) that just overcomplicates everything. And apparently you can change your mind and add a topping when they're done (before even paying). They say it'll make too much of a mess to add fruit to your froyo... aka they're too lazy. After paying, we noticed gross bugs on their side where the toppings are and it just grossed us out. We tossed all our froyo. Just go get froyo somewhere else.

Total lack of service. The employees ignored our group and kept their backs to us for several minutes without acknowledging or greeting us. There was no other customers to serve. Two employees were cleaning the machines right in front of us with over an hour before closing. We decided to leave. Also, the ambience was strange, felt cluttered in there. I'd just take my money somewhere else where the employees are better trained and professional.

I ordered a Pot O' Gold Smoothie and it was terrible, it was all bananas. I did not receive a straw, napkins nor a spoon for the Extra Large Cup 18oz. for $27.30. NEVER AGAIN.
