Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen

Wonderful location! I visit Houston often as most of my family is from there. Dad and I sat at the bar and experienced phenomenal service. It got super crowded after church so we made sure to get an early start for Fathers Day. Honestly I only frequent Pappadeaux in Houston because the seafood obviously never disappoints. Love the outdoor patio area, great for special occasions and pics by the fountain. I removed a star because I miss Pappadeaux incredible brunch buffet. And yes, it was so special because it was special to this area and they don't have the brunch in Dallas. Oh well. Maybe one day they can make a comeback.

Five Star for the service. Our server was so helpful, kind, personable, and attentive! Thank you. I don't know if it changes, but the music was a whole vibe. 90s R&B...loved it. I ordered a mocktail (which was amazing-sorry no picture). For my entree, I order the Giant shrimp and grits. The grits were cooked perfectly with the right amount of spice, spinach,cheese, and shrimp. Very nice and creamy. Pappadeaux is always a go-to when in Texas.

Always consistent service and good food. Our fav Cajun restaurant- love the fresh Greek salad, crawfish platter, and everything on menu is done very well.Parking is easy on surface lot or adjacent garage. We also love the servers, they pay attention to details. Clean restrooms and great cocktails.

This Pappadeaux location is always a vibe when I visit. Service and ambiance is always great. I am excited that happy hour is back since it was stopped during Covid. The food never disappoints but I must say my last visit I was little disappointed with the jumbo shrimp brochette. The shrimp weren't jumbo at all. Even our waiter made a comment about them being small (see pic). We also had the blackened crawfish salad which is so yummy along with the Grand Hennessy.

Hate to give this establishment two stars, but been here a handful of times and the service is always HORRIBLE! Once seated; it has taken over 10 minutes to get a server just to greet us and get us waters. When ordering, they want to rush, and many times the food order has came out incorrect. The only thing that makes me want to come back is their food. I do love their stuffed crab with a baked potato. It is very hearty but very yummy! Haven't tried much of other things because if I love something, I will fixate on that dish.

I love that no matter where you're at Pappadeaux's food is always on par and reliable!We came in for a late lunch and we're seated right away. There was a good amount of people there but nothing crazy.Our server was fantastic & grabbed our drinks and food orders promptly.Food came out perfectly.

After all of these years, Papadeaux does not miss! Mmmhh! Great atmosphere, clean floors and tables.Polite and helpful staff with an attitude of service. It's unbelievable how great my mom and I's New Years day lunch experience was here.Oh and that Sangria was hittin! Very refreshing with the taste of fresh cut strawberries and not tasting strong like alcohol, it was perfect and gave a nice litte buzz.I love this location and franchise. In the words of Arnold Swartsnegar. I'LL BE BACK!

The bar is small compared to some of their other locations. Intentionally arrived AFTER happy hour b/c I was dining solo, and HH is crowded with people who need discounts. The HH crowd lingered but cleared out completely about 7pm. Bye-bye!! But the food is consistent, and came out super fast. Had the redfish Ponchatrain--delicious! Also had pecan pie, no complaints.

This is my 2nd visit to this location with family. I usually go to the NRG location because it is closer to my home. The servers are always very friendly and helpful with menu recommendations. For appetizers, we got the fried calamari & octopus, crab & spinach dip, & raw oysters. They also serve warm complimentary bread with butter. It was my first time trying fresh oysters and it was definitely an interesting flavor. I didn't love it but I would be open to trying it again. I always get the chopped salad with grilled salmon medium rare and the portion is huge! I always end up having to take 1/2 to go. My family got the Atlantic Salmon Alexander with sauce on the side, chicken pasta, and chicken strips and fries for my daughter. They help to box your to go which is always something I appreciate. The parking lot is spacious and the women's restroom is cleaned. I definitely recommend to try!

This restaurant is huge and also has a parking garage! We were seated promptly but our waiter took forever. He rarely checked up on us. I saw him walk around a few times, and at one point, sat in the back of the restaurant playing on his phone. We had to stop other waiters for help. We were ready to order but our waiter took off after we ordered drinks. He took forever to come back again and I ordered oysters and left before I could order the rest. Finally we ordered everything. We waited around a long time and the oysters came out first. When we were done with it, we had to wait around again for a long time til our entree were brought out. It was a lot of waiting around even for the check.We also weren't asked how our food was. The pasta was kind of undercooked.We're from south Mississippi & frequently travel to New Orleans, so this restaurant gave that ambiance. The flavors were pretty good and I enjoyed the oysters as well. The cocktail sauce was almost perfect. It was missing that kick from the horseradish. The Thai chili sauce was good on the oysters too. Overall, this place would be better if the staff was more attentive. And the food isn't bad but nothing spectacular.
