Papa’s Pizza

It's a good place to get a to go pizza in Lenoir. They have a lot of different types of pizzas, and they run good specials. My kids like this place, even though I like a salad with my pizza!

We randomly found this place on Yelp when we were in the area. The business is located in a shopping plaza with other businesses. After we decided what we wanted and paid I checked in and found out there was a 10% off coupon on Yelp. After showing the cashier he took the 10% off of our our order. We sat in a booth while we waited for our food. Our food was done in a timely manner. We drove a short distance to our destination and the pizza was still warm. The supreme pizza was good but some of the vegetables pieces were really big. The slices of pizza were a nice size as well and were filling.

The pizza here is not good. I can't understand how it's so bad but well that's that.. I'm bummed as I thought w all the good reviews it was a sure thing. Happy pizza hunting..

I used to like the wings here. But...This neighborhood restaurant a couple minutes away is not on our regular rotation, but it was National Breadstick Day, and it was the closest place that came up on Yelp for breadsticks, and we weren't feeling like Olive Garden.We should have gone to Olive Garden because their breadsticks are on point, while the breadsticks here were NOT breadsticks! The Pesto Cheese Breadsticks were just flattened out pizza dough sliced into thin columns and flavored with garlic and pesto. We ended up throwing out most of the leftover "breadsticks" because they just weren't very good.We also ordered bonein chicken wings, Meat Lasagna and some other pasta with meat sauce. The 2 entrees each came with a small garden salad. The salads were fine, but the rest of the foot was just mediocre. You probably won't love the food, but you won't hate it either.Prices are slightly high, but not out of line. I think our total was about $70. Soda is only available in 2-liter bottles so we ended up not eating our meal there since we each wanted a different soda flavor and didn't want to buy that much soda.I don't think I've ever tried the pizza here. A friend says it's good and orders from here all the time. Based on my dining experience, I'm not inclined to try it. We're pretty picky about pizza.The ambience is very casual, and you order and pay at the counter.

We came in on a Saturday afternoon and placed a pick-up order of a medium pepperoni pizza and an order of jalapeño poppers. There was only one customer ahead of us who was waiting for a fairly large order (like 3 pizzas and some sides).After placing the order with the guy up front (who was super friendly), he said - give me like 10 - 15 minutes. As promised, a piping hot pizza that I saw him take from the oven was ready in a little over 10 minutes, with which the jalepeño poppers came to a total of ~$17 pre-tip. I had forgotten to get a 2L bottle of soda which he rang up after at like $3.The jalepeño poppers were SO GOOD (served with a side of ranch) and the pizza was cheesy and hot.I would consider this place to be a little hidden gem and we will definitely come back.

How annoying is it arriving somewhere and realizing it's closed. We arrived at 9:15pm. The sign clearly says it's open and Google and yelp say it's open till ten, but we arrived and the doors were locked. If you look close there was a guy there in the front making boxes. And instead of just confirming with us that it's closed he just completely ignored us when we were at the door. So my review is based off the service. We didn't even get to try the food .

Pizza is very good I order light sauce and well done. Greek salad or mild wings both complements the big bubbly crust of the well done pizza

I tried their sandwich for the first time, got the torpedo with everything on it. Sooooo good. Good mix of meats, and the veggies were super fresh and crunchy. It was bomb, looking forward to trying the other ones on the menu.

Visiting the area. Found this neighborhood spot. Pretty good We picked up. Food was ready in under 20min.

We have lived in the neighborhood for years and finally tried Papas and it did not disappoint. We ordered 2 pizzas/2 toppings each to go and our family of 5 loved them. Service was prompt and good. We will be coming back to support our local pizzeria.
