Papa Johns Pizza

I stopped by Papa John's and order a large Canadian Bacon and Sausage pizza to go. The young lady at the counter was friendly enough. The pizza took about 12-15 minutes for it to be ready. The pizzas was pretty good and came with a decent amount of sausage and Canadian bacon. The bacon was very good and the sausage was alright. They should consider using a better seasoned sausage, perhaps a nice fennel sausage, but that is just me. I got the hand tossed crust which was good. It was not to thin nor to thick, and it was a little crispy on the bottom and overall, a medium crust. The red sauce was okay and the Mozzarella was good. When I arrived home, I added mushrooms and a little sliced Provolone cheese to spruce up the pizza. After that, it was a really good pizza.

Me and the wife felt like having a pizza night so we chose to go with Papa Johns. This was a closer location since the one in Lemon Grove closed and I will never return this location again and let me tell you why. I pulled up around 9:20pm and the sign in the front said, 'ring doorbell if its after 10pm' to my surprise the door was locked and I needed to be buzzed in. At that point I was like whatever and just wanted to get my pizza and get outta there as soon as possible. First off, it sounded like a damn club in there like holy hell man!! I totally understand listening to music while you work but man this location had the volume all the way to where I couldnt hear the employee talk to me about my order and I just saw his mouth moving but without me understanding anything he was saying cause the music was so loud. GET IT TOGETHER PAPA JOHNS!!!

I've been here twice. Switched to this one because the Papa John's near my house is not very good. Great experience both times for carry out. Pizza was hot, fresh, and ready when promised. Definitely will return.

The WORST service EVER!!!! I ordered an ultimate pepperoni pizza via Grubhub. I get my order 15 minutes before it due. I'm very happy until I open the box and find a 14" cheese pizza. I ordered a 16" ultimate pepperoni pizA. I call the store and speak to the manager. He says the order said to remove the pepperoni. Well you CANNOT remove the pepperoni on an order for ultimate pepperoni. It's impossible. To the manager lies to me and said there's nothing he could do. I called Grubhub and got my money back for the entire order. I will NEVER order from Pap John's again. This restaurant is horrible and the manager should be fired!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Management: Please fix your doorbell! I came to pick up my order at around 11:20pm and the sign says to ring the doorbell after 10pm. I rung that bell maybe 10 times before I started banging on the door. It was freezing out there and you have these three lazy assholes who I know should have heard the knocking on the glass door. I'm sure at least one of them saw me specially the one who was sitting down on his phone facing me. When one of them finally felt like letting me in I asked if the doorbell is working and he said it was broken. I don't know if he's bullshitting or not. They don't give a shit and these are who were raising the minimum wage for.

This papa johns ... sucks. I ordered a pizza last night with the works, and I swear- they don't use a point system anymore. That pizza was a quality of 4 out of 10... lame that they don't care about quality of product, coming out to their customers. Boycott papa Johns

I never leave reviews unless they are good reviews, but for this, I will make an exception. I ordered a pizza for my kids, and noticed some of the pizza was doughy/not fully cooked. I called to the store to simply ask for a credit or coupon for future orders, since we order for our kids pretty frequently. I explained my situation to a worker, who passed my call to the General Manager Annabelle. I was very taken back when Annabelle did not even let me explain she picked up the call and said rudely "your order was fully cooked" when I told her it was not, she told me it was impossible because of their oven temperature. I told her I had photos to which she condescendingly said I could send them to her personal cell phone, which in its self is very odd.

Pizza delivered was completely wrong.Was supposed to be a fun Valentine's Day dinner for my kids but we were all very disappointed with the plain cheese pizza that arrived.

Half of pizzas were burned. I ordered one day in advance. Disappointing! They also finished exactly on time or slightly after ( I arrived 5 minutes prior to scheduled pick up time).

I order pizza from here all the time and after today, I felt the need to leave a review. They really do have the best customer service and can ALWAYS find my apt. Their delivery drivers are always so prompt and polite. Today I had a delivery driver that was so appreciative of the business that I had given them. I wish I had gotten the name of the delivery driver. This will always be my go to papa johns :)
