I came here for lunch and got the spare ribs, beef stew with noodle soup, and mixed sauce noodles. It wasn't busy at all, and we got our food pretty quickly which was nice. The spare ribs were really good! They were crispy but still tender and very warm. The onions were also tasty. I got the beef stew with noodle soup at a mild spice level. My spice tolerance is not the best, but wow the spice really hit. If you like traditional Sichuan spice, this will be great. I personally wasn't the biggest fan of the spice flavor, but I enjoyed the meat and noodles. If you are a big meat eater, I would recommend getting extra meat since it was pretty tender but there wasn't a ton. The mixed sauce noodles were really good, and it had the same noodles as the beef stew. It had a lot more meat, and I enjoyed the spice flavor more than the beef stew. Overall, my experience was good!

We ordered a large braised pork soup and large beef noodle soup. The pork was good, it has a chasu vibe more than a fatty pork vibe. The noodles in both bowls were super chewy/QQ. But the beef was not tender and for $20 for a bowl after tax, the amount of ingredients was underwhelming. I was full after but there were no veggies as pictured; mostly broth and noodles and "some" meat. TLDR: noodles have great texture, broth is good, but the meat is underwhelming and expected more veggies in the soup. price is a little high for what this is.

I stopped into Panda Noodle Bar on a Tuesday at around 1pm to get a quick takeout lunch to eat on the UW Quad when the cherry blossoms were in bloom! Upon entry, the restaurant is small, dark and narrow, but deeper length-wise than it looks, with plenty of seating downstairs and in a loft-like space upstairs. There weren't many people there when I went, but I'm sure it gets crowded on weekends! We ordered directly at the front counter, and service was quick - we simply marked what we wanted on the menu, and then were given buzzers for when our food was ready. Our servers didn't speak much English, but that wasn't really an issue at all, and they were kind and helpful in explaining the different dishes to us.I ended up ordering a Small Chonqing Shredded Chicken Mixed Noodles ($14.99) at a Medium Spicy level. I initially thought the price was quite steep for a noodle dish, but it's a lot of noodles. The dish came with a generous amount of wheat noodles with assorted vegetables (shredded cucumbers, carrots, and peas), peanuts, a small amount of chicken, and a very liberal amount of chili oil. I ended up dumping out a lot of the extra oil, and the noodles were still extremely flavorful - it was just the right amount of spice, with a rich garlicky flavor as well. The crunch of the cucumber and the peanuts also added a nice contrast.Overall, I enjoyed my meal from Panda Noodle Bar, although I wish that there was a bit more protein (there was barely any shredded chicken) and maybe less noodles? I think that it's a great spot for college students (if a bit pricey for what it is), service is fast and friendly, and has a great location - definitely a place I'd stop into to get your noodle fix!

This is a solid no frills authentic beef noodle soup restaurant with fast service. The soup was great but if you can't handle spicy food, make sure you specify because there is a lot of spice! I loved the soup and it was extremely homey and satisfying.

By far the most underrated place on the Ave. Small little place with a small little sign but huge portions for a good price too. Their noodles are delicious, as were the appetizers. The food came quickly but the servers won't really notice you after that.

Went with friends and we all got the braised beef noodle soup. We also got the fried pork dumplings to share and the chongqing shredded chicken mixed noodles. The braised beef noodle soup with medium spicy was just ok. the beef was dry and there was too much mala spice (the numbing one) to really tell if the soup had good flavor. In addition there were no vegetables so I was disappointed.I enjoyed the chongqing shredded chicken mixed noodles and I think they would be a perfect refreshing summer meal. I would come back for this!Overall though, the service and food quality was not as good as Nine way which sold similar items at a slightly cheaper price.

The food was in huge portions and enough for left overs. The service for take out was super quick and efficient. I like that it is close to campus. One thing to note, the cucumber salad is over priced. But still yummy.

Saw this place walking down the Ave - popped in for a quick bite. The restaurant was very clean and largely quiet. The staff were friendly and service was quick.I ordered spicy wontons, fried dumplings, and fried rice - everything was tasty. The spicy wontons were definitely my favorite. Everything is done online (scanning the code from the table), I didn't see any printed menus as an option.

Delicious food and great service! I've been wanting to check out this place for a while and finally got to stop in. It's a mom & pop restaurant but the quality is still top tier and food is all reasonably priced. Ordering is done online so it's convenient and easy because most dishes have pictures available. We ordered the garlic spareribs, spicy wontons and braised intestine noodle soup with braised pork added. Everything came out relatively quick and was so good! I usually can't handle the numbing of the mala that is found in many Szechuan cuisine, but this place has a good balance. The dumplings were also nice and chewy, and we got to see them make it while we were eating! Spare ribs were also delicious but I needed some white rice, since I can't eat too much salt. All in all, I highly recommend and can't wait to come back! It's right on the Ave so it's perfect when you're needing some comfort food before/after studying!
