Pancho and Lefty's Cantina

This is my go-to for consistently great food and great service. Everything on the menu is stellar. And every time I'm there, everyone on the staff are amazing. Don't tell the others, but Liz is my favorite. The craft cocktails are always on point.

The chips were really good and salty. the queso was a very unique flavoring but i really liked it, kind of tasted like an expensive queso but it wasn't expensive. the guacamole was also very yummy. the street corn was a very unique flavoring, not bad but not good either. the birria taco came with 1 taco for 6 dollars and that kind of seems expensive but it was filling. tasted a bit like bbq and not like a birria taco. the service was great, we were immediately given chips and waters. always checked up on if we were enjoying the food. the place was cute and fun !

I've been wanting to try Pancho and Lefty's for a while now as I live close by! We had our dog with us so we sat at a table outside, so if you have pups, it's a great place to go, especially since there's a covered patio!I decided to try the smashburger quesadillas and they were amazing! They had a chipotle sweet sauce on the outside, and blended with the cheese was amazing. My friend got the wings and they were so crispy with a nice hot honey sauce! Our waiter, Jalan, was absolutely amazing!! He had a great personality, got us refills before we even asked, and was so fun and personable. He did a great job waiting our table and when we asked for recommendations, he would give us some no problems, and his recs were great! I'm looking forward to going back and trying a marg when it's not a work day :)

Came here randomly after a yelp event. My boyfriend had been raving about this place for awhile. We had our boys (dogs) with us so our options were limited. We sat on the patio with them and ordered quickly before the kitchen closed. I love a good birria taco so I got one of those and queso. My bf got carne asada and chicken tacos. I was not sold on the birria taco. The queso was good and chips were perfect. Love a good thin and crispy chip. His tacos were good; I ended up taking a bite of his. We got spicy margs and oh my- they had a kick. Not my fav spicy marg tho.

I sat at the bar with Matt (bartender) and appreciated the genuine interest in getting my food quickly despite being a bit shorthanded that night. The food (Nachos w/ Adobo Chicken) was fresh and nicely presented. House margarita was excellent, and there is a large array of "premium" versions as well.Pancho & Lefty's is not traditional Mexican, but a fresh take on all of those traditional flavors, and a great neighborhood vibe in Sylvan Park. Service was great and the ambiance is really nice I love the feel of this restaurant. Even after our check we were served more water the waiters are so thoughtful here. The guacamole was okay, I personally loved the queso. Chips were a little too salty but they were so warm and fresh! The Birria taco and it has brisket in it and was very toasted on the outside. Very good!

This place is great! Don't expect "authentic" tacos, but do expect some interesting and fun tacos choices. I had the pickle taco and the taco of the month, which was chicken with a peach sauce--- SOO good! And speaking of peaches, I also had the Peach and Hot Honey margarita, it was one of the best margaritas I have ever had. Staff if very friendly. We did sit inside. However, they have a patio that was packed.

1st timer, due to Edley's BBQ (across the street) being closed because of a power outage. I was greeted & seated quickly. The server was nice & attentive. I was hungry & had to order something, so I thought that I would play it safe and order Wings. They came out pretty quick, so my antenna went up! Low & Behold they were not cooked thoroughly. I chose the Chipotle Glaze. The sauce was tasty, but I could taste quite a bit of salt also on the chips that were complimentary. If I choose to try them again, I will wait until my taste buds are wanting Mexican food.

Very mid food that's overpriced. Service is good but the food - nah. Our queso was cold and for some reason they put a spoonful of watery salsa on top. A simple quesadilla is $14 minimum. I walked past the grill and nothing was sizzling RED FLAG!

It was our first time here. Our server Ryan was very attentive and the tacos were amazing! No matter what, order the Queso! Best I have ever had.
