Pancho and Lefty's Cantina

Stopped by early on a Friday and were immediately seated with chips/salsa (complimentary). The service was great and the inside is a cool vibe albeit the music wasn't really our favorite. Also have a few seats outdoors as well.The food: I had a shrimp quesadilla that was very good and loaded with shrimp and cheese. My wife really enjoyed her hot chicken and chicken & waffle tacos. She said the pork was good but nothing to write home about.Overall, a good spot to grab a variety of tacos but we still prefer places such as Velvet Taco and Bartaco

Pancho and Lefty's is my boyfriend and I's favorite place to go when we have no idea what else to eat. The service is usually pretty quick (though once they did forget to bring us our check for a while), and the food is good.Here's what we've tried:-Chips & Salsa & Queso: 8/10 - The chips & salsa come free, queso is extra. Their salsa is actually really good. It's fresh, and though it's not spicy, it has a really real tomato, pepper, and onion flavor that makes it feel very homey. The flavor of their queso is great, as it is a sort of jalapeño queso, but it does have a slightly stringy texture sometimes. Doesn't affect the taste at all, though.-Adobo Chicken Tacos: 10/10 - I get them without avocado, but either way the chicken is INSANELY tender and flavorful, the [flour] tortillas are thick and textured, and the sauces on top are just absolutely divine and make the tacos melt with vibrant taste in the mouth.-Creamy Street Corn: 10/10 - Best side!! SO so so delicious. The corn itself is fresh and roasted yet still crisp, and the sauce with it is slightly spicy, creamy, and rich. No notes.-Hot Chicken Tacos: I can't give this a rating since I haven't tried it but it's my boyfriend's go-to order. They come out pretty saucy, the chicken has a good kick to it, and they are very flavorful according to him.-Cilantro Lime Rice: 7/10 - Just rice. And beware, it is white rice. I was surprised when I saw that the first time, but again, my boyfriend enjoys it and it's probably a good side for someone who enjoys chipotle rice. -Enchiladas: 4/10 - Don't get the enchiladas here. There's not much going on besides meat and sauce/cheese, and not in a good way. Tacos are where it's at.

The food and drinks are still incredible and a fair value (sadly though no more taquitos) what is said though is from some servers the service and desire to help guests has taken a tumble. What was once a favorite restaurant in Nashville for me is now a no return to.Also they do not make it right as the reply said once they have your $$ Harvey don't care.

Big fan of this spot. They have 2 locations, and both are decorated with vibrant colors. It's a fun place to hang out, drink, and grub at. My favorite tacos were the chicken adobo and beef fajita. They also do a specialty taco of the month. Service is pretty quick and very kind!

Was extremely underwhelmed by this place. Their beans were extremely bland and the "spicy fried potatoes" on my Carnitas tacos were not seasoned whatsoever. Service was pretty slow for how dead it was. I've heard their margaritas are decent though so I'd maybe come back and try them!

I've eaten here multiple times since moving to Nashville and the food is amazing! The service is excellent and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I loved how everything is made fresh at the restaurant and admired the decor inside! Highly recommend

Here to offer updated pics of a new menu, pleased as always stopping in for happy hour! Seems like they downsized their menu, which I can respect. As far as taco changes, I am super sad to see the barba-cola taco & yam good sweet potato tacos are gone; however, everything else looks the same & seems like the steak and pickle were just renamed, so that's good! Also, they added a breakfast taco!!! Always grateful to enjoy time here in this beautiful space with a solid good menu!

This place had so much potential and missed the mark completely. Im not sure if they entirely understand mexican food, but this was not it. The "birria" tacos literally looked like ground beef in a taco and it was not good, nor flavorful. The queso was THICK and not in a good way. It tasted like velveeta cheese with a hint of peppers. The only thing that was worth taking home and enjoyable was the quesadillas. Im not sure how new this place is and im only saying that because the restaurant was empty on a 7pm Saturday night, but I hope they improve or it will always be empty on a Saturday night.

Cheese dip was interesting but not bad like others have posted. I definitely prefer their Edley's BBQ to the "Nash Mexican"

Food was good!! I stopped because the reviews stated good margaritas. I had the cosmic cactus. It was a little sweet for me, but had a good flavor. I also had the quest dip ~ I'm not normally a queso fan, but it was ordered for the table. I really like the little spice to it! I also tried the sweet potato tacos (really good - the sweet and spicy was a good contrast in flavors), the chicken fajita tacos (the char on the chicken was fantastic), and the flavor of the month ~ pork belly ... bypass the pork belly ... not my fave. Overall good food.
