Best Mexican bakery in Nashville! If you haven't been to one before: pick up a tray and tongs and place pastries on your tray as you go from case to case. Take that to the cashier and you will be on your way.New pastries are always coming out.We also pick up torta bread for some great sandwiches.

¡Este lugar es delicioso! This is the spot for your pan dulce cravings! There bread, and I'm talking every single, was incredibly soft. They offer a great variety as well, from Barquillos to Concha to Churros and Bolillos. Looking for a traditional Mexican treat, you could probably find it here. They have walls of Mexican snacks, chips, and candy. Looking for a piñata or cake for tour next party?...look no further! They also have a huge variety of piñatas (all sorts of characters) and premade, ready to go cakes. We ended up with about 13 pieces and our total was about $15; very reasonable! There's also a bonus, the coffee is free with purchase of your beads. We will definitely make the drive to enjoy some more!

The pros of La Conchita: -Incredible prices-Everything tastes so fresh -Variety (you won't walk out of their with less than 5 different types of pastries) -Delicious (seriously, everything tasted amazing) -They're doing a great job following COVID guidelinesThe cons of La Conchita: -Absolutely none (except maybe how full you feel after consuming wayyy too many pastries?)

I must talk about this spot for anyone who loves Mexican Bakeries! I have been coming here now for about a year and have nothing but amazing things to say. If you're a person who likes sweets with your coffee but not as sweet as a Doughnut then Mexican bakeries are for you! 1. When you walk in you are always greeted with a smile. They speak mostly Spanish and that is one of the things I love the most! 2. When you walk in you will look to the right and there will be trays for you to grab along with tongs to get your selection of pastries. This place bakes ALL day! I have never gone in and it was without what I wanted.3. They make cakes, desserts, and the BEST Tres Leches I've ever had! If you have never had Tres Leches it is a must! It means 3 milk and is a cake. They serve it in individual cup form and have regular and coffee flavor. To the left in fridge. 4. They have all types of piñatas which is what you can fill candy with and has your kids favorite action figure on it to have them break and spread candy all over for birthday party.Being from Arizona i struggled with finding areas that reminded me of home. The culture and the neighborhood favorite spot is contagious! This is my spot! I also love that music is always playing and they are all so friendly. Burst out of that comfort zone Nashville and go check them out!

I love taking random trips to this bakery! My Spanish is mediocre (at best) and I never really know what I'm getting but that's part of the fun of it. This time around, I got several desserts (including the one pictured - which was my favorite). I have no idea what it was but the texture reminded me of the texture of New Orleans bread pudding. It wasn't overly sweet and was divine after a few seconds in the microwave! Highly recommend getting a unique baked good from this hidden gem.

Ordered a cake, they gave it to me late which was upsetting because of the long drive and it made me late, after all I'm having a party. -_- Besides that the staff is rude, I'm from L.A and it felt like I was right back home with the rudeness. Anyhow the picture speaks for itself, what I wanted vs why I got!! Paid 120 for the cake, they gave me the wrong size as I ordered a smaller one since I'm also serving cupcakes.

So coming from Los Angeles we've got a huge Hispanic population and I've had my fair share of bread and pastries. I saw the reviews and had time to kill so stopped by and picked up a few different breads.First bite and I knew I'd had the best Mexican bread to date. Crazy, in Tennessee, the best Mexican bread. I should go back for more. I wish I knew the names of each bread but get the one that is a long triangle with a cream cheese and sugar coating. The horn with cream is good too.

I recommend this place! It had a few people at 6 pm on a Friday, but not too busy. The lady at the front was very helpful with showing us what some of the pastries were. Each pastry was $1-$2 and the cake slice and tres leches were $4.50. I got 4 or 5 pastries, tres leches, and a cake slice for $12. My favorite thing was this bread with a cream center with some fruit topping in the middle. It was very good warmed up. I took off one star because nothing except stuff in the fridge is labeled. It would be nice to know what everything is and some pricing.
