Palominos Mexican & Seafood Restaurant

We've been coming to this spot since we moved to Spring Valley 3 years ago and it has been consistent and pretty good as far as taste. However, yesterday was the last day we'll be eating there. My son found a big fly in his California burrito. This may be an isolated incident, but we're definitely not taking any chances.

We are super disappointed that we've lived nearby and have only JUST discovered this place...We got the California burrito and Surf & Turf burrito. They were the perfect moistness and the meat was perfectly cooked. The flavors all complemented each other. You honestly don't need any salsa with them, but both the salsa verde and rojo were good!The only negative was that the carrots weren't THAT spicy.

I had very few time to spare before my lash appointment. I wanted to grab something small and quick. I ordered a plain cheese quesadilla for $3. While waiting i was studying the menu and there were so many delicious looking items with pictures. I even noticed a quesadilla with protein jumped up to $10. I was expecting a small quesadilla but to my surprise they made it not only big but 4 pieces! So much value for my money. I can only imagine how much food I'd receive for other items.

Prices have increased - considerably. They still have a menu on the wall, but you'll have to ask to find out how much anything listed currently costs. The food is still OK, but for what it now costs, you can find better "value" elsewhere.

Love their fish tacos. Service is great. Never disappointed. Bean and cheese burritos are great too. Love their beans.

My first time there burritos are huge the meat was cold with no taste guacamole pico de gallo was cold on top of cold carne asada with no taste yuck. ..........

Bought a breakfast burrito and when I got home and cut it in half since it was gonna be shared I saw moldy cheese. Glad I was even gonna share the burrito cause if I wasn't moldy cheese would have been a part of my breakfast. I called them up to let them know I was brining my burrito back then when I got there she had the audacity to tell me what's wrong with it? Does it need more cheese she says then I point it out to her and she tells me it's guacamole. I will never eat here again and on top of it very rude customer service when they are told about their disgusting moldy cheese.By the way my very first review on yelp and it was this bad.

Always the best. Great tostadas and burritos. Fresh. Fast response for takeout. Nice people, ready to help.
