Paloma Mexican Street Food

I have been here once and remember how great it was, hoping to come on Sunday and the website says open but the door says closed? So frustrating.

We are repeat customers, and we love their birria tacos and consomé. I also like their (street) tacos al pastor. Their salsa bar is pretty good - nice green sauce and also a pineapple salsa. Normally I'd rate it 4 stars. Today's visit was disappointing, though... My wife tried their meaty nacho fries. No bueno--soggy fries, lacked seasoning, "meh" queso sauce. She actually was expecting nachos -- wanted chips not fries, but didn't pay close attention to the menu. She asked about getting some chips so as to not waste the toppings, and they were good to provide some. But the chips were overcooked and greasy. "A" for effort (by them), "D" for execution.I tried a bean and cheese burrito. The friendly woman who took our order asked if it was okay their beans were whole beans and I said yes. What I didn't know was how it was to be served... In a little plastic order basket with a paper liner. Now, the flavor was okay--nothing special--but there's no way to pick up and eat the burrito except for taking the first bite. Having taken a bite, exposing the filling, the beans are out of control -- just falling out all over the place. That's not a deal-breaker except that the burrito was served on paper liner in a basket. I admit I was less than assertive about being dissatisfied with the serving of my order because my wife's order required extra attention. So I didn't make an issue of it. I hoped that the situation was not one where the liner is used so as to avoid having to wash the basket every time. This is an imagined "Eeeek!" situation on my part--unwashed, reused basket. But I'd give them the credit for being clean in their operations and must assume the basket is washed. But out of control imagination aside, still there's the issue of the paper liner disintegrating. It quickly gets mushy from the sauce of the refried beans soaking into it, and then the coup de grace... It tears as the plastic knife cuts through the (resilient) tortilla and into the paper. Anyway, who wants to have to check every bite for paper scraps, all the while my inner OCD voice is praying this basket got washed after its previous use?Whew. Cathartic review, huh? Thus we come to it -- , final recommendation: Go there for birria tacos and tacos al pastor. If you simply must have the burrito, ask them to serve it on a plastic plate. Avoid the meaty fries. Everyone at this place is friendly, by the way. Thumbs up on that every time.

This place is so good! I've been here a few times now and each time the service is great and the food is awesome. I've had the birria tacos, I'm hooked!My favorite drink is the mango madness but have also had the intoxica.

Wanted authentic Mexican food in my visit to Arizona and got just that! We told the owner it was our first time there and she gave her recommendation. So, we got the cheese fried tacos and WOW they were so fresh and delicious! All three of us got: steak, birria, and carne asada tacos. The steak tacos were my absolute favorite -- such tender meat and the cheese portion was perfect. Then I really enjoyed the carne asada tacos then the birria tacos. The broth for the birria tacos was cooked really well. We also got the nachos in the lunch special ($6 deal) but accidentally got the cheese nacho fries and honestly didn't even send it back because it looked really good. Overall -- friendly service and just the perfect Mexican meal that we were looking for.

Very good food a ton of variety! They have good BIRRIA tacos, tortas good fresas con crema! Their ramen BIRRIA was so good too!!

The food was insane! Seriously the best tacos I've had in a minute!! My son got the hot Cheetos quesadilla - bomb! I got the birria tacos with consome... BOOOOMBB!!! The service was on point. The girl taking our order was so sweet and attentive. Smells good in here, clean, and the salsa bar is bomb. This was our first time here. I wish my kids and I found this place sooner. We'll be back.

Bro they have the best burritos especially the hot Cheeto burrito the best fries the best cheesy tacos. It's like the best bro please and go try it.

I Absolutely LOVE this place. Everyone is always super attentive and the food is amazing! I recently did the catering option for 25 people. And we had so much food left over! Everything was perfect and delicious!The tacos, the rice, the chips, the beans, the salsas...the pineapple salsa is 10 stars! Highly recommend for dine in or catering!
