Palmi Korean Cuisine & Teriyaki

Hot dam always passed by this spot in fremont and thought this gotta be a front. Coming in this place serves pretty authentic bibimbap but they don't give you the sauce bottle so if you can't handle spice that sucks (not actually that bad). They giving tea and water for all you thirsty mofo that can't decide. The bibimbap itself was pretty good can't complain when it was sub 16 with the stone pot and portion size. Bulk approved

Got Palmi for takeout the other day and had a great experience! Our food came out pretty quickly (within 10 mins of ordering) and it was hot even after bringing it home. I decided on the beef japchae, which had a plentiful amount of beef and noodles. I think the japchae sauce was my favorite part - really savory. It came with rice, which I didn't really touch... noodles are enough carbs. My boyfriend got the spicy chicken teriyaki, which is SPICY. It was really good but we had a hard time finishing it since it was so spicy! Anyways, would definitely recommend their japchae. Maybe I'll try the regular teriyaki next time :)

Stopped by needing a quick lunch to go, and the door dash interactive order on Yelp made this easy. While we were driving there, the food was prepared and ready when we arrived. First, the quantity was substantial. You are not going away hungry! I felt the ingredients were quality and the seasoning was good. The bipinbap was delicious! The sauce was spot on!The gyoza were solid, as was the grilled chicken teriyaki. I loved the side of steamed vegetables dipped in the teriyaki sauce too.

Beef bulgogi was tough, dry, and lacking flavor. Tasted like unmarinated beef that had been cooked earlier and reheated for serving. Definitely not worth the $18 I paid for it. I'm being generous with two stars because it came quickly and I appreciate the free tea. But for authentic Korean food, don't come here.

I was early to an appointment in Fremont and hadn't yet had lunch, so I stopped into Palmi for a quick bite. I'm so glad I did! I ordered the Stone Pot Bibimbap and got the beef option--$14 before tax. My dining counterparts were also mainly solo eaters...this is a good place to come if you're alone! Service is speedy and friendly. I liked looking around and seeing the employees eating lunch together, laughing and talking. This place has good vibes. The food: in one word...delicious. The bibimbap came sizzling and steaming with a bottle of the house sauce and a side of condiments including kimchi and some potatoes. The portions are fresh and very generous. I could see myself splitting this with another person if not very hungry. Everything was so tasty and I appreciated how the beef wasn't overcooked. Pro tip: Make sure to get a cup of the free tea with your meal...it's soothing and tastes like it has buckwheat or something in it?

Recently I just noticed the Palms location in Fremont and my coworkers and I decided to try it via a DoorDash lunch. My coworkers ordered the Gyoza and said they were very good. However, I ordered the beef bulging I and was very underwhelmed. The portions were okay - White rice was perfectly cooked and I received two full scoops. There was a good amount of beef. Not tons, but fine. The issue was the flavor. It was very disappointing! I always give restaurants two chances so Palmi has one more. Lol. Next I will either try the pork Bulgogi because - at least in the photos - it "looks" like it would be more flavorful.

This is my favorite lunch spot in Fremont. Their food is very very delicious and pretty affordable compared to other offerings in Fremont. I usually get the tofu bibimbap and have never been disappointed. The people who work here, who I also assume are the owners, are so very kind. If you enjoy people watching, there are big windows where you can sit and watch people crossing the street.

Got seafood tofu soup from Palmi and the seafood tasted odd and over cooked, ended up having diarrhea for a few days after so beware, especially if you're getting seafood! Also every time I have been at Palmi, there's the same Country song playing on repeat. Does the staff not realize this or are they forced to listen to the same song on repeat too? It blows my mind and I have had the song stuck in my head for months since I dined there

I really love bibimbap at this restaurant, especially the hot stone version. This is because the hot stone results in crispy and crunchy rice. The food was prepared quite quickly as well!
