Palace Korean BBQ & Grill

In Federal Way, they have a restaurant named Palace too. We enjoy their food and hope this will meet our expectations as well.Since we were at the mall, I opted for Korean food because it was less greasy than the teriyaki next door.I chose the bibimbop. I was glad that it included an egg. Although, it wasn't authentic, it was passable for mall food. As an added nutritional bonus, I asked for brown rice which wasn't extra. The rice was actually the purple rice. It was cooked just right also. It came with the ubiquitous sauce too. It came with greens, diakon/carrot, egg, mushrooms, beef. It was missing a few ingredients that would kick it up a notch - bean sprouts, bell pepper, zucchini, green onions. Having this doesn't hit the spot but at least my belly isn't full of oily food! For a dollar more, you can add soda or water. The bowl was, I think, 13.99. The portion was decent too. May be back since it's a pretty healthy conscious meal.

Located in the food court, no wait and fast service. Had the spicy pork and it was terrible. The pork is already precooked and all they did was warm it up. There was not a lot of it. It covered the rice, but pork was really thin and soft. It was almost like shredded pork that had been cooking for awhile. Definitely skimped on the meat tho. The sides were ok, had the Kimchi and picked daicon and carrots. Really expensive for rice and sides being the star of the dish. Idk, had upset stomach next morning. Definitely won't return.

I thought Palace Korean was pretty good for a mall food court place! There was no line, so we were able to order and get our food pretty quickly.I had the Beef Bulgogi Plate. It comes with rice and choice of two sides. I went with kimchi and potato salad. I thought everything tasted good, including the kimchi, which is difficult to get right LOL. I'm not used to eating potato salad with Korean food, but it tasted good too.My husband had the Chicken Yakisoba and he enjoyed it. I was going to order that too, but I wanted to try a traditional Korean dish instead.We had enough food for leftovers and I would definitely eat here again. Apparently some of their other restaurant locations have unlimited all you can eat Korean BBQ, so that definitely sounds interesting!

Bottom line: I came in with low expectations but I was pleasantly surprised by this fortuitous find. I didn't want to stand in the relatively long line at Sarku Japan for their storied Hibachi so I went over a little skeptically to the Palace Korean. They had about five plated choices and we decided to try out their favorites: Bibimbap and Bulgogi. Although the presentation was a bit sloppy, the meal itself was actually good. The palate was pleased. The service was fast, the serving size was plenty, and the end state was achieved. Definitely give this place a try if you're looking to score a meal in-between your shopping spree or window shopping. Arguably, it wasn't my first choice but I'm glad I tried it and will definitely return for another meal in the future.

Wanted grab a quick bite to eat for dinner after we just left the airport. My bf wanted to come here, and I wasn't so sure if I'd want anything from here, because it doesn't seem like it'd be that great. But I saw that they had Pork Kimchi Fried Rice, and wanted to try it. And the food was way better than I has expected. The Kimchi Fried Rice, the Bulgogi Beef, and Spicy Pork were all full of flavor. Wouldn't mind getting the Kimchi Fried Rice again.

Meh, not bad but not good. It didn't have spicy kimchee and the meat were small pieces. I wish it was bigger. In addition, wished it had bean sprouts. Flavor lacked but I was hungry so I ate half and threw the rest away.

Always go for their ayce! Great selection of meats! Love that the steamed egg and soy bean paste stew are included. Their kimchi used to be really on point (used to get about 3-5 plates to accompany the meat), but it's not as good these days.

My family has usually gotten food here any time we visit the mall. The poor service seems to bring down the flavor of the food. It is already absurd to not provide a cup of water with the meal (while a restaurant nearby that I didn't get food from gave me water for free), but for the staff to seem to point my family out multiple times and trash talk us because we expected non-bottled water absolutely makes me not want to ever eat there again. Hope the sit down Palace 's service isn't going bad.

I got the 2. Beef Bulgogi Plate and wow amazing!!Such great food ! My sister got the chicken / beef and she said it was good as well!
