I have been waiting for a good Korean-Chinese restaurant and this is it. My go-to order is jjajangmyeon(black bean noodles), jjamppong(spicy seafood noodles soup-wasn't too spicy), and tangsuyuk(sweet and sour pork). They were all very delicious and satisfied my husband and I. Plenty of seatings and service was nice. Located in uwajimaya parking lot. Grabbed our seat first, then went up to order and they gave us a number to leave on the table. Casual dining vibe. Nothing fancy at all. You will see many solo people grabbing a quick fix before going back to work, some families with kids, etc. Clean environment and servers were very kind and helpful!Price was reasonable for the location and I would pay the price for a good K-chinese food when I have craving. I am just thankful they opened one!! They need to open one in Renton too lol.

Came here for lunch on a Sunday. The place was very busy. We had to put our name on a list on a very laggy iPad. It took 15 minutes for them to call our name. The restaurant was packed and a tad bit loud. We ordered the spicy black bean noodles and tofu jjampong. The spicy black bean noodles are actually really spicy with like a whole pepper in it. I think I would order the extra meat one if I ever come back. I can generally handle heat but it is a bit too spicy for me. It took away from tasting the actual black bean noodle sauce. The Jjampong didn't have much wok flavor to it. I was expecting more of smokey wok flavor that most restaurants in Korea have but was disappointed. Other than that, it is comparable to the jjampong you can find in Seattle that dont specialize in Korean Chinese food. I do see why this place is popular. Once you order you do get your order within maybe 5 minutes. Kind of scary how fast it came out. But the wait to actually order is really slow unless you go on a less busy time. I like that fact that there are so many different variations of jjampong and black bean noodles. Would I come back? Most likely not. There is a better jjampong place closer to home in Lynnwood (that also has a location in federal way) that I prefer way more.

Coming from the other side of WA, to see Baik's Noodles brought me happiness! Quick service, self select kiosk, and the food came out in less than 5 minutes. Jjajanjmyun is a noodle dish with a sauce that consists of black bean paste with tender juicy pork, onions, and peas. The sauce and pork were just perfect and exactly what my tummy and heart craved. Noodles were cooked just right- not too chewy- not too soft. They were the perfect texture to absorb the deliciously flavored black bean sauce. Just perfect to slurp up as you can see in reference to mukbang video. Radishes were perfectly crunchy. Make sure to put the vinegar on radishes before you eat. (I also added a little in my noodles along with the red chili powder.)Ambiance is perfect for a fast casual spot. You CANNOT beat the prices here! $12.00 for jjajangmyun. That gives it 5 stars for me.

Both dishes we tried were so yummy! Would definitely get them again, although I do want to try other items on the menu. The sweet and sour pork has a mochi-like coating on it which adds an interesting texture. It wasn't what I expected but it was really good! Comes with a sticky sauce on the side which reminded me a lot of hot and sour soup but a bit sweeter. The seafood jjamppong was a little lacking on the seafood, but the taste was delicious. The noodles were a nice, slightly chewy texture.

My first visit I had planned on ordering to go but didn't plan ahead. I thought I'd be able to easily walk in and just place an order at the counter but they were so busy it didn't seem so. I couldn't get an answer and the little check in box at the front for the sign in list said 25 minutes for to go orders. So I left and instead came back the next day but ordered my food online.Upon arrival my food was ready and I was on my way. The fried dumplings were a 8.5/10 for me. They were insanely good to me. Packed a great flavor profile and I definitely would order these again! I'm not a connoisseur of jajangmyeon by any means. However, their sauce here was delicious. It wasn't too sweet and perfectly coated the noodles once tossed in. My to go order had the packed sauce separate from the noodles and it did take a little time to toss it all together but once I got it mixed, we were good to go. I did order the sauce with meat and so glad I made that move. I would not have enjoyed it without the protein added. I just wish it came with a little more pork. The noodles had a nice texture and chew to it. They were fresh and delicious covered in that thick, brown and sweet and savory sauce. Affordable eats and satisfying.

In grieving the closure of Hakka Noodle House that used to occupy this space, I was pleasantly surprised to see it is now Paik's Noodle! They were very busy on a Sunday around noon, but they had an efficient system where you order at the counter, get a number sign, then seat yourself and the staff bring your food to the table. They also have a waitlist by the door if there are no seats. We got the must try items here - jajangmyeon, jjamppong, mandu, and tangsuyuk. Everything was yummy, and just as I expected them to be for a popular Korean chain restaurant. If you've watched K-dramas and want a taste of these dishes, this place is a good introduction, but know that better versions of these dishes do exist in the wild.

I saw this restaurant just open in ig. Not sure what to expect seeing from the outside, but as we entered its definitely a lot of ppl inside.Basically you ordered your food in the counter, then they give you a number. You go find and seat yourself. We ordered:Tangsuyuk: crispy fluffy deep fried pork, you can either dip or pour the sauce overGunmandu,:basically potstickers Meat jjamppong: seafood noddle with pork on topMeat jajangmyeon: almost the same type of noddle like meat jjamppong, but with blackbean sauce and no seafood just pork. They have jug water, glasses and utensils ready on the table ready. They also give you the yellow pickled daikon. Fast and very friendly service. If you need to order more, just go back to counter and order, they will give you a new number. If you need a bib to protect your clothes from all the soups, just ask. This place is in the complex of Uwajimaya bellevue, next to starbuck. It used to be a Hunan chinese restaurant. Plenty of parking.

I'm was really excited to try out the new Chinese/Korean spot as it is really close to where I live. And Paik is a famous name in the jja jjang min world so I had to give it a try. It's fine for what it is but it has a distinct instant ramen flavor. The soup was very one-note and the sweet and sour pork was just ok. It's good for a quick bite built don't expect to be amazed. This place will not be my go to spot for Chinese/Korean food unfortunately.

There are scant few places in the Seattle area for 짜장면 and they are mediocre, at best. However recently in the past year we've seen the appearance of a few new places, including Paik's, who is probably best known to Americans by the Netflix series that he stars in. The jjajangmyun sauce is objectively good, though I find it overly sweet. Noodles are decent - firm and chewy. The ggangpoonggi is objectively good too, with big & tender pieces of perfectly cooked breast or thigh, I think, though I found it overly sweet too, and not very spicy. Overall, it scratches the jjajang itch pretty well. I shall return.

I finally got a chance to try Paik's Noodle after hearing so much about it and being a fan of Paik Jong Won! Paik's noodle is located in the same plaza as Uwajimaya, just on the other side closer to the street with ample parking.I came on a weeknight with some friends and there was no wait. At Paiks, you order at the counter and then find a table and wait for them to bring you your food. I ordered the jjajangmyeon noodle which I enjoyed. The flavor profile of the dish was not too salty or too sweet and the sauce coated the noodles well. I do wish that there was a little more meat in the sauce and less onions. The portion was a perfect portion for one person, with a small amount for leftover. I was not a big fan of the tansuyuk sauce as it was more on the sour side and the consistency seemed to be clumpy. However the meat itself was good and crispy. The line started to pick up as we finished eating and was getting busier so come earlier! The server was nice and would give us refills of the radish or water when we asked for it. It was not too loud inside the restaurant either.
