I came here for an event in the back room area- this bar is huge! The decor is similar to that of a cabin or some lounge in the woods. It has a very rustic feel to it and has a fun atmosphere. I didnt order food here so I can't speak for their menu but this seems like a solid bar for hangouts in large groups.

Great place in the bar district. While I was here for a few beers, three bridal parties came in, did shots and left. You know it is a good local bar when even Ben Franklin (or a guy dressed like him) stops by for a drink.!What I liked:- A full bar with a great beer selection including Monkey fist IPA. - Friendly and experienced bartender chatting with us. - Loads of TVs to watch sports.- Live music to listen to while you watch sports .

Paddy O's has hot dogs.HOT DOGSAdd fries $3 or Add rings $4.The Boston Dog $7Topped with Boston baked beans, crumbled bacon and coleslaw. The Gaelic Dog $7Topped with sauteed cabbage and spicy mustard. The Works Dog $8Wrapped in bacon then topped with chili, cheese, and diced onions.Build Your Own Dog $6Add toppings and the way you want it, only 50¢/ea; Chopped onions, sautéed onions, sauerkraut, chili, cheese, jalapeños, jalapeño cheese sauce, bacon. The Walloon's Food Truck was missing it's Thursday stop for the 2nd week in a row, so I guess no fried chicken sandwich for me. So I decided to pick up a hot dog for lunch instead.Wow. It turned out to be one big hot dog tucked into something more substantial than a hot dog roll. Mine was the Works, and I changed it up by asking for the onion to come sauteed rather than raw. It was a massive lunch. I ate just over half. The onion rings were large and counted 5. They were breaded and crisp. I would have preferred sweeter onions beneath the crunch though.Paddy O's also has burgers. The Build Your Own starts out at $10. Cheddar and sauteed onions for 50 cents each was a good choice. Their fries aren't all that crispy, but they make a nice sweet style cole slaw though it lacked in bright cherry orange carrot shreds (only spotted 2 down by the bottom of my serving). As a member of the Somers Pubs, they also have clam chowder on their menu. Theirs is a good traditional white creamy style sort, with cubes of potato and some chopped clams.Music's a bit loud by the entrance. And their lunch crowd seem to prefer sitting at the bar.

Not Irish at all Paddy O's playing Hispanic music. I mean I like the music but it's not what I expected.

My friend and I came on a late Sunday night for drinks and a light meal. Not sure if it was because it was a little after dinner hours, but we walked pass the bar and into the dining area without once being greeted or approached by an employee(???). Unsure of whether to just sit at any of the tables or wait, my friend and I uncomfortably stood around until a kind customer nearby sensed our awkwardness and told us we could sit down wherever we wanted. Even after then, it took several minutes for the server to FINALLY approach us. Not the best way to start off the meal. For food, we ordered a basket of bbq wings (comes with 12 pcs) and an order of disco fries. The bbq wings were very flavorful and cooked nicely. The disco fries were okay-- we wished the fries were crispier, but I did like the scallions on top and found myself wiping gravy off the plate. All in all, the meal was satisfactory. However, service here was a major miss. In addition to that awkward situation in the beginning, I found our server to be cold--not once did she smile or display any sort of amiability. Again, not sure if it was just this time but honestly not really willing to come back to find out. Especially since there are soo many bars in this area, I guess it's see you never Paddy O's!!

Would literally give negative stars if I could!!!! Came here with a group of friends while on a work trip & the bartender had no idea what she was doing. She refused people in the group because she can't read out of state IDs and even went as far as taking someone else's ID and not giving back. They didn't even call the police and we had to have the police come to get it back. Understand why it was the only open bar in town!

I am in town for work and thought this place would be a great spot to get drinks with coworkers. The first thing I noticed was how empty it was inside. That's usually a red flag to me but our group decided to stay against my warning. The drinks were overpriced, poor quality, and you'd think we were being served by turtles. If that wasn't bad enough, one of my coworkers from Jersey was accused of having a fake ID. They confiscated it and threatened to call the cops. Funny part is they wouldn't even call the cops when we asked them to so the ID could be verified. My coworker proceeded to call the cops, explain the situation, and wait an hour for them to arrive... meanwhile, the manager of the place took the ID and left the restaurant. After the police finally showed up and verified that my friend was indeed who his ID said he was, we had to wait for the manager to come back. Just as this horrid nightmare was finally coming to an end, the manager shows up with my coworkers ID in shambles. The latex was ripped off and it was cut in half. He claimed to have "accidentally destroyed it."Not only is it illegal to destroy/deface official government documents, but now my friend will not be able to fly home. His wife is mailing him his passport so he can fly home and replace his ID. But I guess there's some ounce of saving grace for this place. The manager apologized and gave my coworker the money to replace his ID. So of course all is forgiven and it didn't totally ruin our entire night.

Far from an Irish bar, by name only.Went there today with a bunch of my Irish nationals to watch an international rugby game free on network tv. There were doormen demanding if you were Irish you had to pay a $10 cover charge to go in to watch game if you were not it was free to enter. What are we back at the turn or the century where no Irish need apply. Total disgust. I taught we had come a long way from that. Bar staff were great. Stayed for game at that point as would miss if gone somewhere else but will never set foot in again. My wife and daughters have a wide social network will warn everyone and beyond to not go here for rugby World Cup coming up in September.

It was fine, focus isn't food, so I wouldn't choose this place for great food, basic.

Went with coworkers for some drinks. First the good: the DJ the night before we went back was fantastic. We're from out of state, if that matters at all. Bouncer outside stated pints were 3 dollars for miller lite. Sign on the sidewalk said same thing. Went to grab this "3 dollar beer" and was told it didn't actually exist with the real price being 9 dollars. That's forgivable compared to the rest.My colleagues (very real) New Jersey ID was suspected by the bartender as "fake". They seized it, and refused to return it. After the police were called, they cut the ID before police could arrive. They then denied this, and the ID was not presented to police (which, correct me if I'm wrong, is knowingly destroying evidence). Seizing and destroying a real identity card is illegal, and at worst could prevent an individual from flying home. Egregious power trip behaviour from a bartender who clearly shouldn't be in the business if they can't read an ID.Won't be back, I'd recommend passing on this one.
