Things I enjoyed : 1. the avocado rolls,( fresh and tasty)2. The chicken fried rice had fresh cucumber , tomatoes and chicken. The rice mixture tasted fresh and not at all overly oily or too salty . It was delicious. We also had shrimp pad Thai. It was very heavy on the Ponzu sauce. It was good but I probably wouldn't order it again because it was so saucy. I ordered a ginger martini and it was a beautiful presentation but I personally did not care for the taste. One of the ladies at the table liked it more than I did but we both agreed it needed to be much colder and maybe have some simple syrup added . In their defense the restaurant was very busy so maybe my complaints could have been voiced if the waiter had attended to our table . However in all the time I was there I was not offered a refill of water or asked how we were enjoying the meal. Might give it another try if we are down there again.

My son and I had just landed in Atlanta tonight and were looking for a quick bite to eat and this place had a menu displayed that appealed to us - we got there around 8.45 PM and even though it was close to closing time they graciously served us. Between us we got the Crab Rangoon ( good not great!) , the Mongolian Beef ( my son loved that!) and the spicy chicken ramen ( the chicken was rubbery but the broth was on point amazing!)A bit pricey but it's in a nice area and has a wonderful ambiance and service was attentive ! It was also the first meal son and mother were having in Atlanta together - so yes in my books a keeper!

Pacific Rim Bistro stands out as a culinary gem that promises an exceptional dining experience, which I was fortunate enough to enjoy recently. The meal began on a high note with a serving of Jasmine tea, which was notably strong and brimming with flavor, setting the stage for the delightful courses that followed.Accompanying the tea, a Hot Sake provided a warm and rejuvenating touch, perfectly preparing my palate for the appetizers ahead. The Crab Rangoon, featuring a delicate blend of crab meat and cream cheese, was a standout. Lightly fried to achieve a creamy and soft interior, it was an indulgent start. However, the star among the appetizers was undoubtedly the Ahi Poke. The dish's combination of tuna and avocado, dressed in a house special sauce, was nothing short of exquisite. The sauce enhanced the tender, marinated tuna and the fresh avocado slices to create a harmonious blend of flavors.Transitioning to the next course, the Seaweed Salad offered a flavorful and refreshing interlude, perfectly setting the stage for the main dishes. The Spicy Seven Flavored Beef was an adventure in itself. Tender slices of beef, marinated with an intriguing blend of seven spices and wok-tossed with fresh Thai basil leaves, then topped with crushed peanuts and bean sprouts, offered a complex flavor profile. It was intriguingly more sweet than hot, appealing to a broad range of tastes. The Tuna roll, served with a distinctive spicy mayo and a potent horseradish wasabi, was a delight. The spicy mayo was notably sweet, providing a pleasant surprise to the taste buds.Desserts at Pacific Rim Bistro proved to be a grand finale. The Cheesecake Egg Roll, reminiscent of a fried cheesecake cannoli, was an innovative twist on traditional desserts. Yet, it was the Fried Banana and Vanilla Ice Cream that stole the show. The contrast between the crispy, airy exterior and the soft, warm banana interior, coupled with the creamy vanilla ice cream, was a testament to the bistro's culinary creativity.Dining at Pacific Rim Bistro is an experience that goes beyond just eating. It's an exploration of flavors, textures, and culinary innovation that leaves you deeply satisfied and eager for your next visit. The attentive service, ambient atmosphere, and, most importantly, the impeccably crafted dishes make it a must-visit destination for anyone seeking an unforgettable dining experience.

We were seated very quickly, service was great, both waitresses were very attentive. Best egg drop soup I have ever had. The Phoenix roll was good, crab rangoons good, and the ribs were perfection! Will definitely be back next time we are in Atlanta!

Where do I start? Staff was friendly, food was amazing and the ambiance was modern (but not obnoxious). I went with the Asaki whiskey, spicy edamame, spicy tuna roll, and Philadelphia roll: highly recommend!!!

Fantastic sushi in a convenient area to market and hotels. Our server was fantastic and the wait times were minimal.

Slow service and mediocre food. Not bad for the area but, for the price, I was hoping for more. Comfy patio and not too crowded during a convention in town.

Not bad, but not great either. The whole downtown ATL vibe has been low energy, many places closed Mondays or Tuesdays, so you're left settling. We did get great service here so all 3 stars go to that. The food was good but nothing that you couldn't get outside at another nearby sushi place.

I came here this week with a group of coworkers for dinner and was pleasantly surprised. The food was excellent and everyone enjoyed their meal. I had the salmon with rice and veggies, all of my other coworkers had sushi and loved it! The server was pleasant and helpful as well. Would definitely come back!

TLDR: This place is unsafe if you have food allergies or health issues that are affected by food. When we pointed out what had happened, they were apathetic. Only our waitress seemed sorry, but not enough to adjust the bill without being asked.I had a meal here with a friend during DragonCon. I ordered two items plainly marked as "GF" on the sushi menu. One, specifically the Rainbow Roll, said it contained crab meat. Excellent, I thought. Only after I started eating did I realize it contained crab sticks. Firstly, crab sticks are not crab. They are usually made of whitefish, eggs, wheat, and spices/flavorings. A particular brand now makes gluten-free crab sticks, but those contain potato starch, which I also can't eat.I asked two servers to clarify with the chef. The second eventually returned and said she was very sorry, but that roll wasn't gluten-free. I took the last bite of the roll that I knew was gluten-free and started to mentally prepare myself for the physical pain and discomfort that would ensue. After my friend finished her meal, we asked for our bill, and when we got it, both rolls I had ordered were still on the bill. They had completely disregarded the fact that they had just poisoned me with gluten. If your restaurant mislabels food that will make someone sick, at the very least you shouldn't charge them for that item. If you want to practice good customer service, their meal should be on the house, accompanied by a GIANT apology from management.I was flabbergasted, and at that point, I said I didn't want to pay for my meal. The server returned shortly with the items removed, and I said I'd like to speak with management to explain the importance of getting this right. At the very least, they should immediately start telling people that the Rainbow Roll is not gluten-free. The manager returned, apparently thinking we were trying to get out of paying for our whole meal. He yelled at us. He also said they had been serving this roll as gluten-free for 20 years with no problem. 20 YEARS. We tried to explain why we wanted to talk to him, but he was so agitated that my friend had to force him to take the billfold with her credit card. We never got to have our one-on-one teachable moment with him, so unfortunately, he gets to have it here where everyone can read it.People are gluten-free for many reasons--some out of preference, but most of us have severe health issues. People with Celiac Disease are more likely to develop colon cancer the more gluten they consume over their lifetime, knowingly or not, even if it doesn't make them physically ill at the time. CANCER. I have chronic pain. I will spend the next week or two in extra, all-day pain and discomfort because of those two bites of crab stick. There's a social contract between restaurants and their diners. They broke the contract. Do not eat here.
