Pacific Beach Ice Cream

After a long hot day at Sea World, ice cream was the only thing on our mind. My husband yelped Ice cream in the SD area and we ended up at pacific beach ice cream. They have a nice variety of gluten free and vegan ice cream. The mint n chip is out of this world delicious. Take about a fresh herb ice cream! So good that I need to go back ASAP! My husband had their chocolate covered banana and he was over the moon excited about it. Service was great and the girl was so nice that she gave me all the samples I asked for. It's a really small spot and the parking lot is small too. There's not much room to sit inside, but if you are lucky, I think they have a 4 seater table. I can't wait to go back !!!

Stopped by Pacific Beach Ice cream for a little night treat. We were greeted when we walked in and they had plenty of options to choose from both dairy and non dairy. They also have ice cream for your pups, pints to go and ice cream waffles. We tried Oreo, Julian's Dutch apple pie, chocolate covered strawberry. The prices are great and all of the flavors were captured really well! They didn't have much room inside so we drove a few seconds down to PB and enjoyed our ice cream there. Thank you!!

Cute little shop that felt like a mom and pop shop - clean and with enough flavors to make everyone happy! A few unique flavors and styles too, like the spearmint mint chip. We also loved the sorbet options.The shop was pretty small but service was quick and the employees were kind. We'd definitely go back if we're in the area!

The best parts are that they have a kid's cone that comes with free sprinkles (for kids only), two flavors based on Julian pies, a whole freezer for dairy free options and several benches outside.Service was friendly and they gave us all the samples we wanted. I wasn't blown away by the ice cream.

First of all, I've got to shout out the amazing service at this place! I wish I had gotten his name but the employee that helped us was so friendly and helpful.We tried the Julian Apple pie and the blueberry cheesecake. The only thing that I didn't love about the blueberry cheesecake was that the blueberry pieces were kind of frozen almost, part of me wondered if maybe some sort of jam would've been better instead. Overall though the flavors were really really good and ice cream was very creamy. I felt like they had some really unique flavors to which is always fun with ice cream.They have a couple seats outside but we took our ice cream to go. It's a very casual spot and a great option to check out when in the neighborhood.

A small boutique ice cream shop, hand made, high quality delights. The owner gleefully experiments with different flavors and we try to come in every week or two to see what he's concocted. There are the usual standards for the ice creams and ices but then there are the unusual. The mint in his mint chip actually tastes like the mint from your yard rather than just the extract. There's one that's made out of the sweetest mushroom that (to me) tastes like maple syrup. One unique combo of flavors is the saffron rose pistachio

Mouth watering fresh waffle cone fills your soul as you walk through the door...extremely friendly counter greets you immediately & ask if you would like to try anything. You are served tasty bites on small metal spoons with the richest of tastes. I used to think chocolate came from the gods, but I've changed. Ice cream came from the gods. Pretty sure I could taste the cream of cows who grazed on rainbow alfalfa surrounded by unicorns.Chose the peanut butter cup & chocolate served in a FRESH waffle cone.Hey, you gotta love ice cream made by a former comedian with a 100 year old ice cream scoop collection gathered while drinking a bottle of wine, mad trip through eBay during COVID. He landed safely on 2 feet. We got the frequent customer card. We will return. That's a pretty big scoop for returning from Hawaii, which we will...to catch his latest creation

Wow! What a neat ice cream shop with unique flavors!The young lady working the shop was very friendly and patient with my husband & I as we were first timers. I tried many of the flavors but what really stood out to me were the Dutch Apple Pie and Oreo. Dutch Apple Pie has some bits of apple and many pie crust pieces in it which make for a delightful texture. It is a little bit on the sweet side compared to other flavors.Oreo - not one of my go to flavors, but I have to admit that PB Ice Cream's Oreo is phenomenal! It is soooo pleasantly fragrant and flavorful. I would actually come all the way here just for the Oreo--it's that good. The Oreo cream flavor is very strong and there are plenty of cookie bits mixed in.Only downside is the parking lot is extremely tiny and street parking may be hard to find.

We concur with Dave the ice cream master! Stopped by on our way back to the hotel for a sweet treat and boy let me tell you....WOW!!! Not only was the customer service 10/10 so was the ice cream. Hubz ordered double apple pie and he still hasn't stopped talking about it. The kids played it safe and stuck to vanilla but even that was very rich and creamy! The shop is right on the corner, very cute and clean inside we sat out front and enjoyed our cones with the great weather! Dave was great! It's so refreshing to see that good customer service still actually exits in 2024! We will return anytime we are here in San Diego! Thanks Dave!

First of all.... If you're complaining about price... STFU!!!! Breathing is expensive. With that said....This place is BOMB AS FUCK!!!! Everything is made in house and the owner is a beautiful human. He takes so much pride in his work and that's what I love. He remembers us and we've only been twice! I am gluten free and he has plenty of options to choose from. I did have to taste the Oreo cuz it looked sexy and OMFG it's soooo good. If he ever does a gluten free Oreo I'm gonna move into the container because it's that good!!!! My sons and I were there the other day and he could tell I was feeling heavy. He was very kind and patient and let me try all the samples my little heart desired. There is no weird food coloring or fake flavoring in anything in there. And if you like lemon... the lemon ice is and I don't like lemon flavored stuff like that. Wherever you are in the atmosphere... find your way here. You won't regret it!!!!
