Over Easy - Ancala

My mon & I went to Over Easy for brunch today, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. They're open until 2:00 PM with excellent food, refreshing drinks, fast service, and a cheerful atmosphere.We kicked off our meal with the Flight of Mimosas which comes with four. We picked our favorites: Strawberry, Raspberry, Peach, and Orange. Priced at only $18, we thought that they'd be small servings but were pleasantly surprised to receive full-sized, fully loaded mimosas. Each mimosa was made with incredibly fresh fruit juice, making them a delightful start to our brunch. I can't wait to go back to have several others. I have my eye on the Cinnamon Rolls "French toast" style with orange frosting, Monte Cristo, Eggs Benedict, Chicken & Waffles, biscuits and gravy, and steak & eggs. Most dishes are reasonably priced around $15-$16, and the portions are generous. Over Easy was even featured on Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives, and the menu shows which dishes were featured, so you bet I want one of those. Our server, Scout, was upbeat, super friendly & cheerful. She was fully attentive & polite too. She really made our dining experience a perfect one.My mom ordered the "Mile High Omelette," which came with hash browns and toast. She said that she didn't want the toast, and without skipping a beat, Scout said that my mom could have fruit or cottage cheese instead which was a welcome surprise. The hash browns there are just the way you want them, nice and crispy on the outside. We were so impressed by how fast our meal was cooked and on our table, that my mom said, "How did they make it so fast?" haha After a couple of bites, I said, "Because that chef is a pro!!" (Everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly.) The decor is cheerful & fun, with neon signs of cute sayings. We sat in a cozy booth, but there are also tables reminiscent of an old diner and a breakfast bar that offers a great view outside. With its fantastic food, friendly service, and fun atmosphere, it's a place you'll want to come back to again and again. It's the perfect place to take people who are visiting, too.

Breakfast on the first day of my Spring Training trip was a stop at Over Easy. Had no idea it had been featured on TV but it sounded like a good spot. There's one thing I know about the Phoenix area, they love their breakfast. I had the OG Wolfpack and had it smothered in sausage gravy. Absolutely the best choice. Out of everything I ate, that gravy was the highlight. It looks like a lot of food but it's because of the way the hash browns are cooked into almost a patty. Not too much food and definitely tasty.My daughter devoured her french toast and my sister really liked the chicken fried steak. She ordered some very healthy looking toast which was not quite to her liking. Great breakfast spot with a good vibe. Customer service was a little slow especially when refilling drinks but we'll definitely be back when we're in the area.

Super cute, great menu and yes you can have alcohol for breakfast! The food was good with adequate portions but a little pricy (but who isn't these days). What I liked best the manager was helping the server clean at the end of the day, and I saw him wipe down chair legs (love that), and I had previously seen the server wipe down partition ledge (appreciate that). Side note: very wheelchair friendly and easily accessible. I would go again.

Love a good breakfast spot and this one is great!! They offer lots of choices on the menu, service is kind & prompt and the food is excellent! We have eaten here several times and have enjoyed the experience!

Love their food. I don't like sitting in the back alongside the wall. When there are kids it's too noisy. Can't enjoy the food. Want to try the mimosas

Service was good but the food was lack of flavor.I kept adding the chili sauce over my food but still didn't bring the flavor that I wanted.

*TRY IT OUT!My parents and I stopped by this place on our way back to the airport. This was a great last stop in AZ. The food was great, everyone enjoyed their meals and their were so many options to pick from. I wish I lived near thais place. Our waitress was very friendly. The inside was so cute but we decided to sit on the patio which was very peaceful. Go to Over Easy!

Really great breakfast menu! I eat the California omelette for a healthy breakfast. If you want to indulge, the Brioche French toast, and banana nut French toast are incredible. Never had too long of a wait even on the weekends highly recommend.

Had a great protein waffle with a side of bacon. Wonderful service. I sat at the bar as all the tables were filled. Beautiful facilities inside and out.

Really? $1 for a tablespoon of pico de gallo? The waiter neglected to advise me of the upcharge. Waitress said she was sorry but did not remove from bill.
