Our Green Affair Café

Found this place through Yelp! Came here after a hike in Torrey pines. We ordered the chilaquiles, steak sandwich, and orange juice. Service was great, we were acknowledged right away, everyone was very friendly, & ambiance was trendy and inviting.Great place to try if you're in the area. Highly recommend the steak sandwich!

Amazing lunch/brunch spot!! I wish I lived nearby and was able to easily come back and try other options from the menu. When we walked in this morning, the woman at the register (I think her name was Jeanette) warmly greeted us and offered us samples of the red velvet smoothie (delicious btw). Phenomenal first impression!My boyfriend and I both got the grilled cheese and tomato bisque, and it was the perfect comfort food we craved on a cloudy morning. I think it was mozzarella used in the grilled cheese or maybe a blend of some other white, mild cheese as well, sandwiched between slice of rosemary/rye bread. Basically an elevated grilled cheese. We also got OJ, which tasted freshly squeezed, and the almond butter cacao smoothie, which was delicious and filling on its own too. The food came out pretty quickly, and all the staff we met were lovely. I want to give a huge shoutout to Jeanette! She seems like such a ray of light. It's a small restaurant with two or three indoor tables, one of which we were sitting at, so we heard every conversation with each customer very easily. Jeanette was so friendly and genuine with everyone, and we really appreciated the ambiance her kindness created. Thank you for such an unexpectedly lovely lunch experience :)

Glad to have a new fresh place to eat in this complex! Cute names and pretty store front too! Now for the food, I ordered the salad "bean there done that". It was fresh and tasty with a side of chicken added. Wasn't something I couldn't have made at home tho. Prices are on the higher side (as with many places these days and especially organic fresh spots) but if price doesn't phase you then you'll enjoy this little place. Next time I'll try one of their toasts and maybe a smoothie! Staff was friendly and manager was helpful.

I had the opportunity to stop at our green affair on my way down to San Diego. They have a great menu available with a variety of well crafted drinks. I recommend their iced matcha latte. The girl who took my order was really helpful and kind. I like how the cafe has a lot of windows letting in the light from the outside and brings in life into the cafe.

This is exactly what we needed in the neighborhood. Cute little cafe. With awesome food. very high quality. great green juice options and an awesome avocado toast.

Came across this it's new Cafe in Solana Beach. They were having their soft opening and can't wait to come back. My wife, friend, and I ordered the Chilaquiles Omelette (AMAZING!!!), Hot Breakfast Wrap which has crusted cheese on outside and was delicious, Green Shakahuka. To drink we got the matcha and avocado smoothie which was amazing! My wife got the Goldenmilk Latte and was out of the world. This place does things right. Perfect spot for a weekend brunch.

Amazing !!!! 10 out of 10 ! I tried 3 dishes this morning for breakfast and all of them exceeded my expectations ! I can't wait to try lunch !!!

So happy this lovely cafe finally opened in Solana Beach! The food is fresh, healthy and creative, the service enthusiastic, and the attention to food allergies is much appreciated. We're sold...and will frequent.

I'm so grateful to have randomly found this amazing eatery by searching "organic" on Yelp. I made it for their grand opening!! I ordered the turmeric spice latte, chilaquiles and brownie. Because I am breaking my fast haha and I couldn't resist the energy of the staff serving is infectious!!!! Rightfully so. This is the best turmeric latter I have ever had. I will let that statement stand alone, without caps or elaboration. That's how truly good it is. And the chilaquiles is savory and the best symphony of flavors!!! And the ingredients are all high quality, which you'll know when you try it yourself. Yum. I will be back. Very soon.

I would really encourage locals of Solana Beach to try this place soon. We have been waiting for it to open with cybertruck-like anticipation. My wife will readily declare that everything in here looks much more appealing than the cybertruck, so I got breakfast instead of a new car. But no disappointment. First I was greeted by the owners Jackie and Jeanette, sisters that have such pleasant personalities that your day turns bright an optimistic just as they welcome you. It is completely run by these two and so you can see the passion in the work they do to make the food, but also in creating a friendly experience. You can see that the flavors as well as the health benefits of the recipes are really meaningful to them and they want to share that. I am not a health nut, but I really enjoyed the flavors and their passionate approach. The menu has a sparse collections of many breakfast/brunch and lunch that will offer you a base of something familiar with a touch or 3 of something new. Take advantage of this and try something new on the menu. You wont be disappointed. A baseline of avocado toast for me and the Salmon toast for my wife are a perfect start. But I have really enjoyed the acai bowl as well for breakfast. Yeah, anyone can put yogurt, granola, bananas and a fruit (is acai really a fruit though? Has anyone ever seen this on a tree anywhere?) and call it a bowl. But the flavor of the coconut and the new flavor of fresh mint jumping out at me was amazing. Their smoothies are a great compliment to whatever you are eating. I have been given samples with ingredients I might not have considered and loved them. Let Jackie make a recommendation for you, close your eyes and enjoy is my recommendation. I really hope locals find this place and allow it to flourish. The shopping center needs good restaurants and this adds a great element to this community. If locals find this place, I think it would be an easy place for friends to get together to share a nice breakfast and catch up. Enjoy.
