It's a nice environment. They really have that going for them. Food is there. Like they definitely serve it. Whether the flavor is there- personally not my favorite. But it is nice and good service. It's a good spot for dressing up or down. Drinks are good. Not enough to become my regular date night.

I am starting to love everything about this place. It is fine dining for sure but at what I think is still. Reasonable price point (25-40 per person) I ordered the chx fs because its my favorite entree anywhere that serves it and this one did not disappoint. Thin and very tender sliced steak (actual steak yall) battered and fried to perfection that gives that deep color and crunch without being greasy or chewing glass. It was the gravy that was above and beyond. I said to my friend it tasted like it had been whisked ten minutes ago. The little pottery pitcher kept it hot so i could pour as I ate which was fantastic.The mashed potatoes were just okay but i didnt even care because that cfs was so good and i worked up the courage to try that corn pudding and just omg - it had the texture of egg souffle but tasted like savory corn with a hint of heat and was so so yums. Order it.The dining room is tight and I had to turn sideways to get through a few spots even with the tables empty since it was 5:30 on a weeknight but that doesn't bother me either. It is an extremely open dining room so if you want to talk dirt or family drama or business it will be everyone else's business around you but i find that adds to the family feel of the place.Our server Walter was just incredible. On point and helpful and observant and attentive without being intrusive. I would absolutely want to request him again the next time I go!

First time trying Ouisie's yesterday for lunch with my gal to celebrate my birthday. This was a last minute plan so didn't really have the time to research what it is all about. It is nestled in River Oaks and I made a reservation for noon on a Friday. They only have valet parking which costs $5. It wasn't busy when I got there. I was seated promptly on a center table so that was good. While I waited. I was offered water, butter and bread. The ambience was more on the rustic, old money, classic side. There was also an interesting red dress on display. Servers were garbed in their crisp uniforms. The menu was extensive, especially with their wines. They also had a fair share of meat and seafood fare.I ordered the Herb Crusted Sea Scallops with Parmesan Roe and a prosecco. The presentation was nice! Butternut was so good and the green beans that came with it too. However, i must admit that the scallops were way too salty. I didn't want to make a complaint because it was my birthday and that we didn't really have much time at lunch. I wasn't able to really enjoy the seafood side of it. Also, just in case you visit at lunch time... their clientele is mostly on the senior side. Maybe dinner time is different. They had some cute areas to take pictures in for your instagram diaries. They were nice to give me a little birthday dessert also.Price is at par. Don't know if I'd be back due to my salty food experience but I hope the manager sees this.

Romantic vibe for sure, they have jazz night & specials too! They have a wine special for $35 for 5 glasses. That's a stinkin good deal, make sure you call and ask when those specials are or check the website. Freddie was our server and super sweet! He stayed on top of service through the evening. Calamari - it's not fried, it's also not Olive Garden. Hehe. Flavorful and tasty Scallops - 10/10 would order again Valencia paella; not my vibe but feel free to order and share around the table, I would recommend to order for 1Desert, we skipped because we had so much wine!

My friends had their baby shower here in the private room by the patio. First service was amazing there was a lady there who was so helpful from set up to tear down she deserved waitress of the year ! I wish I got her name . This place gets super busy so valet it is ! We had the quesadillas that came with a side of skillet potatoes !!!! Delicious!!!!!!!! We had cake the chocolate cake was a little dry and the lemon cheese cake ( not pictured) I didn't like at allMimosas were super strong and the bartender was very generous on most drinks The free bread was omggg delicious!!!! The ginger bread and corn bread was my favorite! I will definitely love to come back to try their full menu!

Houston restaurant week menu. We were served fresh warm baked breads with a side of butter. The steak was fantastic and the crab cakes were very tasty. Best of all though was the dessert, which was an absolute must. Perfect ending to a delicious meal. Highly recommend! Our servers were friendly and accommodating, and the location has a lovely classy and fine ambience. Would go again!

On Wed, June 26th I dined with my family (eight ppl) in celebration of my birthday. It was my first-time at Ouisie's Table, and I was excited to see what all the hype was about. Upon first glance it was nice and cozy. Other than that, everything else went downhill shortly after being seated. Here are my points:It took more than 30 minutes for us to get water served at our table"SAD" mini muffin trio was served an hour laterHors d'Oeuvres: two out of three - fair. The crab cakes though, seriously! FIRE the Chef and/or get a new recipe.Our reservation was at 6:30p. We were not served dinner until after 9:00PM. There was a really large private party (60ppl or more) taking place. Meanwhile, there was a dining room packed with people not getting serviced timely or otherwise. It appeared, there was no Quisie's leadership to manage this disaster. Customers were all asking, what is going on and no one could give a justifiable answer. Why would you take reservations or continue to accept walk-ins knowing you did not staff-up or could manage the flow of service. UNACCEPTABLE!There was NOT ONE offering from any LEADERSHIP at Ouisie's for the inconvenience and the bad customer service we experienced. WHAT BUSINESS DOES THIS? I'll tell you, one that takes it's customers and it's fortune for granted. The food, service, and ambiance at this price point should have been spectacular considering we were gracious enough to wait it out. However, the lamb chops were overcooked, no bread served with the meals and, one of the orders was completely wrong.The last offense was when the waitress served me the tiniest cheesecake I've ever seen (with a candle) in honor of my BD. We had already ordered deserts but, I thought that was nice of her considering no one asked for it. Then, I was told there was a charge on the bill for it. WTH! SHAMEFUL!MY BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION WAS COMPLETELY RUINED!
