the nabeyaki udon had a great savory and sweet taste. the noodles were soft and nice touch and it's my go to whenever I feel down. lasante suggested the tempura appetizer and I could keep eating it. lasante and the server with the Kuromi jacket are very sweet!!would come again. ambiance is like a pirate bait, lovely lighting, great staff, fast serving!

Back again and I really was impressed by the service and hospitality! Staff is super friendly and greeted us with a smile! Restaurant is still clean and spacious! Currently waiting for our food but I'm loomjng at everybody else's and I'm impressed by presentation and size portions! Love the sushi here , always fresh. Came here with about 10 of us. Everyone was happy about the food they ordered . Specially the otay sushi boat . Orders from the group : few lunch bentos , protein roll ( yummy ) , poke salad, eel roll , lost @ lake , salmon sashimi, miso soup is a little on the salty side. Ambiance is ok, gets a little loud and it echoes . Service was a little slow, few of the orders we had to remind our server. Not that busy though mid day , work day. Lots of empty plates not taken off our table as it got a little crowded when more orders came in . Parking : it gets challenging ( if you prefer to park close to Otay sushi ) . It is shared with surrounding stores like Trader Joe's , sprouts , TJ max . Bathroom: looks clean and smells clean. Giving 3 stars because of the service . But the food is great .

We like that it has a variety of options. The service is fast and friendly. There is music is the back ground that is fun, but not too loud. I would change anything about the food, however, I do recommend more comfortable chairs and booth. Our server, Lasante is well informed about the menu and made excellent recommendations. I love this place! I came here with an old friend who likes to eat. I love the flavor of their crab broil! I still haven't found a place that can rival their quality. We ordered a couple of beers while we waited for a table to open up, but were seated before we finish one. Great customer service by the two young ladies who helped us. We ordered the crab broil with extra crab legs, and mild. We ordered the 'hot' broil one time and it was just a straight burner! But this time it was perfect. 5 stars for this place for sure! No question that we'll be back..
