I have to say, the ambiance here is amazing! The combination of live music from their pianist and soft dim lighting makes for such a cozy and intimate atmosphere. What we ordered:- Gnocco Fritto appetizer: honestly, this wasn't my favorite. the bread was a bit doughy and bland for my taste, so probably wouldn't order again. - Gnoccetti All'Ossolana: if you're a fan of mushrooms, this dish is for you! i loved the texture of the gnocci and the mushrooms were so fresh! - Tortelli Di Zucca: a good pick if you like butternut squash- Caipiroshka Della Passione cocktail was so refreshing from the passionfruit and would highly recommend- Tiramisu: so fluffy and a great way to end the night Overall, the food was great but definitely a bit on the pricier side for the portion sizes. Service was also attentive and helpful. Would definitely recommend if you're looking to treat yourself out!

Osteria la Spiga's Prosciutto di Parma offers a respectable experience for those craving this classic Italian delicacy, but falls short of achieving greatness. This restaurant aims to capture the essence of authentic Italian cuisine, but my recent visit left me with mixed feelings.Firstly, the prosciutto itself was of decent quality. Sliced thinly and served with precision, it showcased the characteristic saltiness and delicate texture expected of this renowned cured meat. However, I couldn't help but feel that it lacked the depth of flavor and complexity that truly exceptional prosciutto should possess. While enjoyable, it didn't leave a lasting impression. I think I could have gotten the same quality from Costco but I'm paying for the atmosphere Additionally, the presentation of the dish left something to be desired. While I understand that simplicity is often key in Italian cuisine, the plating felt somewhat lackluster. A little more attention to detail in the arrangement could have elevated the overall dining experience.Furthermore, the service was adequate but lacked the warmth and attentiveness that one would hope for in a fine dining establishment. While the staff was polite, there seemed to be a lack of enthusiasm and genuine passion for the food they were serving. In summary, Osteria la Spiga's Prosciutto di Parma provides a satisfactory experience for those seeking a taste of Italy, but it falls short of delivering the exceptional quality and memorable dining experience that one might expect. With a few adjustments to both the flavor profile of the prosciutto and the overall presentation and service, this dish could truly shine.

We were very excited to try La Spiga, but sadly, our meal left us quite underwhelmed. My fiancé and I had a reservation at 7pm on a Saturday, and were seated right away in the upstairs loft area. Our waitress was lovely and was quick to check on us and bring us menus. We decided to order the prosciutto (half board) appetizer to start. This was probably one of the more sad looking appetizers I have ever ordered in the Seattle area. It came with about 4 or 5 warmed pita slices in a bag, some prosciutto slices and a little side of mustard. It was very plain and the presentation was disappointing. This is something I could have made at home. For our entrée we split the Filetto (beef tenderloin), tagliatelle al ragu and tagliatelle al burro di tartufo. The star of the show was the ragu. It was a very fresh tasting sauce and my fiancé and I both enjoyed it. I had high hopes for the truffle tagliatelle, but it really just tasted like buttered noodles with hints of truffle (even with the shaved black truffle add-on). In last place, came the beef tenderloin. Although it did have some good flavor, it was overcooked and the mashed potatoes had virtually zero flavor.I will say that the ambience was lovely. The bar area is beautiful and the restaurant has an open and airy feel to it. However, we will likely not be returning based on the overall experience.

This place is... okay. A little underwhelming if I'm being honest. The interior is beautiful, with tall windows and the ambience of a very romantic restaurant. The food was.. definitely not up to par with the expectations. The pasta we ordered was okay, not particularly good or stand-out, but not particularly bad either. The portion size was tiny for the price. We also ordered the formaggi, which was advertised as a cheese plate but ended up being more like a glorified Lunchable. It was 3 pita slices, two tiny cuts of cheese, and a spoonful of some nuts soaked in honey. The only redeemable part of the plate was the spoonful of nuts, but it was such a weird amalgamation of ingredients and such a tiny portion it was almost laughable. The salad and fried polenta we ordered was also nothing to write home about. Overall, I think this place is way too expensive to be serving the food that it is. I'd recommend checking out any of the other restaurants on this street instead, as you'll probably leave here hungrier than when you arrived.

We came on the last day of Restaurant Week. After we were seated, we didn't see our waiter for 20 minutes, and then he said he would be right back, but then took another 20 minutes to come back to talk about wine, and then took another 20 minutes to come back with the wine. So I think we waited for an hour before we got to order our food, and then we waited another hour before we got our food. The food itself was decent but not worth waiting 2 hours for. Also since it was restaurant week, they ran out of ingredients. Gnocchi was fluffy but with chew and the sauce was nicely acidic. The salad had orange but also orange seeds in it, which was a little unpleasant. They ran out of pistachios. Of the desserts, the panna cotta was my favorite because it was so smooth and creamy and the burnt caramel balanced the sweetness. The torta was my least favorite because the texture was very crumbly since it was flourless and hazelnut-based.

Came with a reservation for 2 people @ Saturday 6:45pm and was seated slightly before RSVP time. Servers were friendly and attentive enough to refill waters promptly, without being pestering. We ordered off the restaurant week menu at the beginning and all the courses were paced well. The main entrees didn't come out before we were finished with our apps, and the dessert came a healthy time after the main to let the food settle. We tried a variety of things: - formatting cheese app 2/10 good cheese but tiny portion- Zuppa Del Gino soup of the day, which was a squash soup 6/10 as expected - gnocchi 7/10 good texture but strong tomato flavor was kind of overpowering- tagliatelle al tartufo truffle pasta 10/10 so good! Texture of pasta was fantastic and the flavors were well balanced - not too much truffle!- panna cotta al caramello 8/10- tiramisu 9/10- bottle of Nebbiolo wine 10/10Inside is a lovely vibe. A surprising amount of seating on the main floor and the loft, which we saw some groups there. Would definitely return! Cost was $120 before tip for a three course meal and bottle of wine for two!

One of ours to go places for any celebration. The ambience is so nice and warm, but elegant, sometimes they have amazing pianists playing, and the menu often changes, so you always get to try new things. The staff is also incredible nice. We always go for any of the bread services (they are all incredible), the soup (yesterday was tomato), and two pastas to share.Always a great experience to come back!

Pros: the restaurant is spacious and beautiful! Excellent location! Service is decent too. Our server was friendly and attentive. Cons: the food was mediocre at best. We ordered caprese salad for appetizer and that was decent. But other than that our two mains were underwhelming. The filet was mediocre at best and not cooked as asked. The pasta was overcooked and chewy. The server agreed that it tasted overcooked and he comped it but we were rather disappointed. Overall do not recommend this place!

it was..... ok. the restaurant itself is super cute and lots of space and beautiful tall windows, but food was just ok.we got the soup of the day which was butternut squash. it was very average, came out lukewarm and didnt have anything outstanding about it, they did give quite a large amount of it. we also got the cheese plate, which was actually kind of a funny dish, it had 3 little pita chip like crisps and two small wedges of cheese and a spoonful of a fruit jam? it was ok. for entrees we got the lasagna, it tasted ok, not bad but not special, but the pasta layers were maybe overcooked so it was just one mushy slice. we also got the truffle butter pasta, and the truffle flavor was strong but slightly oversalted, and it really was just tryffle butter and pasta, it probably couldve used some protein or veggies of some sort. for dessert we got the flourless hazelnut and chocolate cake, which was again, just ok. the tiramisu was good though. for the price, i think i expected a little bit more.

Had a great dinner date here before the show at 12th Ave Arts. It was perfect. Great service, lovely ambiance and the food was great. Try the 6 Onion soup. So good and it's easily a meal.
