First time trying a Chinese takeout from the Lake Nona area. They have no website so the Yelp site menus could have been out of date. So I came here in person to check it out. I ordered two dinner combinations, (General Tso and Beef with Broccoli) and their Singapore Noodles. The combination plates were served with an egg roll and pork fried rice. The egg roll had a perfect crunchy texture but was not hugely flavorful. They were very hard working back there and didn't speak a huge amount of English when asked if they served Beef Chow Fun (sadly no).I was asked to wait 15 minutes and noted that they are primarily set up for take-out over dining in. They had 4 tables inside, each with seating for four. The ambiance is utilitarian. My order was ready in about 15 minutes and I headed home to find three very good dishes. The Singapore Noodles were moist (compared to other places that served them on the very dry side) with some decent heat. The shrimp were perfectly done as well. My wife thought the Singapore Noodles were maybe too spicy, but I liked the moderate heat. The beef from the Beef with Broccoli was tender with good flavor and the broccoli was bright green and perfectly done. What was a nice surprise was the pork fried rice (which was typically served at most Chinese take-outs mediocre, yellow-colored, and forgettable) which, at Zhang's was freshly prepared and very good.Even General Tso's chicken had some heat, was tender, had a crisp crust, and was surrounded by that same pork fried rice, and a crispy egg roll. All in all, we are impressed with our first taste of this local restaurant and are happy to return.

Nice food and Nice portions.I ordered a quart of orange chicken as well as a quart of sweet-and-sour chicken. The food was very good. I especially enjoyed the orange chicken. It had a very desirable taste as well as it was aesthetically pleasing it wasn't overpowering with any of the sauce and it paired very well with the regular white rice. The sweet-and-sour chicken was not my favorite. The chicken by itself was delicious. It had a great flavor but the sauce kind of took away from the chicken so I'm glad that they put it on the side, giving me the option to not use it . Service was easy as I ordered online, however, I will say that the delivery that I paid for was decent. The person who delivered couldn't find my house address but not only did they work very diligently to call me as well as text me to get my information. They made sure that they were handing it over to the right person so I appreciate that and I did not get the delivery service guys name, but I appreciate his attention.

Zhang garden is very consistent in their food and delivery times. Really enjoyed the chicken wings. This is one place you actually get a whole chicken wing instead of a piece of a wing. Traditional Chinese menu serve hot and promptly.

I secretly did a wonton soup challenge. Mr. K's vs Zhang Garden. I did not order ahead of time, I walked in and placed my order for a quart of wonton soup. My order took literally 30 second! Crazy fast! The girl at the counter was friendly. The broth was the usual clear yellow I'm used to with wonton soup. There was an astonishing TEN wontons in my soup. I kept pulling out one after another! (This beat the 6-7 wontons in Mr. K's). Soup was hot and delicious! The only negative was the price. One quart of wonton soup was $4.80 here plus tax, totaling $5.10 (vs. $3.73 at Mr. K's) There was a sign up front saying that due to an increase and product costs, they had to increase each menu item by .10-$1.00 and that the menu does not reflect this change yet. Verdict: Both wonton soups were great. Zhang garden cost $1.37 more BUT also included a possible 3 more wontons. Both yummy and filling.

Been wanting to try this place since it's pretty close. Ordered through Uber eats. Got the spring roll (not great, needs more time cooking), crab Rangoon (not great either). Wonton soup (decent), house fried rice (good), Singapore Mei fang (has curry flavor but pretty tasty), sweet and sour chicken (good), and chicken and cashew nut (good). So the appetizers are not so great but the main courses are fine, decent Chinese food.

Ordered hot and sour soup. Looked great, but the taste was awful. All sour, and no spice at all. Broth had zero flavor except the sour, and made me sick to my stomach. Needless to say I had a bite and threw it away. Also ordered wonton soup and the broth had no flavor either. Wontons were okay, but mostly flavorless. Spring rolls were descent. They were crispy but very little filling. If you want descent take out, stay away from this one.

just disappointed at the fact I spent $72 dollars at this place. when I arrived home my bar was missing items. I called to let them know about it and they said to come back.. I drove 30 mins to go back to the restaurant and the only thing they said was sorry we were busy and gave me the missing food. I didnt feel like arguing for the inconvenience because things happen. i dont need a refund either , however at least you could have offered a free small item or done better customer service for the inconvenience. this is not what I expect to spend hard earned money on.

I ordered the Krab Rangoon, orange chicken, and Singapore chow mei fun. The Rangoon tasted like it was filled with warm yogurt. No crab or cream cheese taste. Would not order again. The orange chicken was decent but I probably wouldn't order again. It had a bit of a ketchup taste to it, the chicken was fresh as was the broccoli and rice. It just wasn't my favorite. Singapore chow mei fun was spectacular. Full of flavor. Definitely a must order. Honestly had I not ordered this I probably wouldn't even consider going back but I would go back just for those noodles they were so good. Mainly a take out place but the guy who gave me my order was very polite and they look like they are very busy so I'll probably try ordering again and see if I can find anything else as good as the noodles.

We've loved Zhang Garden for several years. The food is always fast, hot and very well seasoned. The chicken dishes are my favorite. Very tender and not overcooked. The hot and sour soup is also delicious. Good value as well.
