While visiting Animal Kingdom on our first holiday trip at Disney World, we decided to stop by Yak & Yeti Local Food Cafes for a quick lunch. We have ate a meal inside the Yak & Yeti restaurant before, but this was our first time trying out the quick service location! Yak & Yeti Local Food Cafes does offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. Most of the options are $14.99 and under. Some of the dining plans are accepted here. You'll find Yak & Yeti Local Food Cafes in Asia within the Disney World Animal Kingdom Theme park.Breakfast options at Yak & Yeti Local Food Cafes include some of the following optionsBreakfast Bowls (Egg, Cheese, Potatoes etc..)Sausage and Egg English MuffinFruit SaladParfaitsKid Options: Pancakes, French ToastFor Lunch and Dinner, some of the options areHoney Sesame ChickenAmerican Kobe CheeseburgerKorean Fried Chicken SandwichRib TipsSaladsPot StickersEgg Rolls Fried RiceKids Menu: Chicken Strips, CheeseburgerI ended up getting the American Kobe Cheeseburger. It was okay. I wouldn't order it again. It wasn't cooked through all of the way and lacked flavoring. It wasn't well-seasoned. My husband enjoyed the Korean Fried Chicken though! The chicken was juicy and tender. There was a lot of flavor from the sauce on the sandwich! My daughter liked the honey sesame chicken! I had a bite of it and it was scrumptious! We ended up eating at a table we found overlooking the water in Asia at Animal Kingdom. This is one of the better quick service spots in the theme park!

This fast service restaurant always has a line, but it moves fast. Unfortunately our first experience was horrible. Our cashier was one of the worst representatives of Disney I have encountered in a long time. He informed me there were absolutely no Substitutions allowed and he had no idea what was on the food. Literally, he didn't know the sauces or the condiments. I asked him how long he had been working there, in which he replied over a month, but the back never tells the front anything. Seriously??? Can this be true Disney? Or is it just one slacker employee? So we ordered the Korean Chicken Sandwich which had some sort of mystery sauce (that the cashier said had cheese, and it didn't). It was a good flavor but I have no idea what I was eating.?. I can't recommend this place, unless you're a foodie, who likes previously prepared food, and you don't care what's on it.

Delicious quick service spot for lunch in Animal Kingdom! Big menu, reasonable prices, but no AP discount. There is also plenty of seating on the side and around back

This place was just an average Americanized Asian spot. We got the sweet and sour tempura shrimp ($17). It was a pretty large quantity. The batter was way too thick, so I had to scrape it off. The rice was delicious cuz I think they added sugar lol

Much easier getting food here than at the restaurant. We were starving and the menu wasn't too exciting, we were pleasantly surprised to find the food was pretty good and we would repeat. Only downside is finding a table to eat at nearby especially with a large party.Honey Chicken: Their version of Orange Chicken, loved how it came with some vegetables and the rice was well made. It's on the smaller side but perfect, we didn't want to get too stuffed before rides and walking.Tempura Shrimp: Even in the humidity it was still crispy, the sweet and sour sauce is on the side which was perfect since we prefer lighter amounts of sauce.Chicken Teriyaki Salad: This was much larger than the other plates and comes covered in Chicken. We split this as an appetizer and the chicken tasted great, there was something spicy in this thought not mind-blowingly hot.Ribs and Fries: It's on the menu as Korean Ribs but tasted more like American BBQ sauce with something spicy added to it, still tasted fine but too hot for the kids to eat.

My family and I are annual passholders, and love visiting the parks. We were served at the register by Skylar from Orlando, Florida. Skylar was the very most loving and attentive person we have ever met at the parks. She not only was taking orders from people, but she was also carrying people's trays that were elderly, picking up trash, and ultimately doing several jobs at once. It is my wife's opinion that she be placed in a more managerial roll. What a bright ray of sunshine you have there in Skylar! We hope we get to meet her again!!!

It was okWe had thought to go to the Yak & Yeti Restaurant, but after checking out the menu options and prices, started looking around. Right next door we saw the Yak & Yeti Café, where you order at a register, walk up to pick up your food, and find your own table. We opted for this cheaper choice.I ordered their Honey Chicken, my wife their Ginger Chicken Salad, and neither one of us were that impressed. For me, there was not much in the way of sweet sauce, which didn't seem to be very sweet anyway. There was plenty of white rice and veggies. Reminded me of airport food. There was just a short line to order and we had a choice of shaded outdoor tables, the result of low attendance at Animal Kingdom on this weekday.

Considering my expectations for amusement park food is always low, yak and yeti definitely exceeding my expectations! Each plate was about $10, and was tasty. It's a grab and go system, which helps the line go by pretty quick.

Not to be confused with the Yak & Yeti restaurant, this is the quick service place next to the sit-down restaurant. I ordered the Korean Fried Chicken sandwich which was well flavored, tender & juicy (not dry!) It was easy to find tables in the back of the area and grab a quick bite before jumping on the next ride! Beware of the ducks who steal your fries or anything else you drop on the floor!

The food was excellent. We had calamari as an appetizer, and it was cooked perfect, not a rubbery bite in the batch. For the entre, it was the Korean Beef. Very delicious! Yao was our waiter, and he was great. As busy as he was, it is surprising he had the time to chit chat with us. If you like spicy, I would suggest both the Calamari and the Korean Beef. If you are a couple, you may want to share. For two people it was a lot to eat.
