We ate here last night, as we were at the Gaylord for a conference. It's a fun sports bar, with great ambiance. But the service is really slow. I mean they took forever to take our order, then took 45 minutes for the dinner to arrive, after we kept asking for it over and over. The server was very sweet, but they are not equipped to handle a busy night....or don't seemed. Now to the food:- Ceasar Salad: this was yummy. A bit cheesy dressing, but I loved it. - Hummus: this was delicious. It had chickpea in it, and the flavor was very good. - Penne Pasta: I wasn't a fan of this. The pasta was floating in the sauce, instead of being seasoned properly. The bread came out burnt. Overall, it's a good place to go when you're staying at the resort, and has lots of options for the kids. It's not fine dining, but definitely has options for everyone.

Came on a Thursday night looking for a quick place with appetizer fare. We stayed in the Gaylord and there are plenty of food options and this fit tonight well.We ordered the buffalo cauliflower, tortilla soup and a side of fries. The buffalo cauliflower was great. It was fried perfectly and cooked just like the wings. It could have used a little more heat but the fry and flavor was really good. The "tortilla soup" tasted good but it was more like a chili with corn strips rather than a soup. The flavor was still good. The fries were standard bar fries, they could have used a second fry to be more crispy. The bar is nice and has a large area upstairs and downstairs. The service was a little slow even though there were not many people there.I am rating it 4 stars since it delivered what we were looking for.

I visited this restaurant for a quick dinner before heading to ICE at the Gaylord. There was a short 10-minute wait to be seated, which wasn't bad, especially since the restaurant wasn't very crowded at the time. We were seated near the bar, and our waiter was attentive and efficient. As we browsed the menu, we placed our drink orders (lemonades and sweet/unsweetened teas). Wanting something light, I ordered the lemon pepper wings, as did my mom. My dad chose the fish and chips, and my son went with the chicken tenders and fries. The food arrived hot and fresh. However, the portion sizes of both my son's fries and my dad's fish were surprisingly small. My mom and I initially thought we could share off their plates but we were wrong lol. My dad did enjoy his fish and chips, and my son said the chicken tenders were "yummy."Unfortunately, the wings were a major disappointment. While they were fried to a nice crisp, they were completely devoid of flavor. There wasn't a hint of lemon, pepper, or even basic seasoning like salt. I had to order a generous serving of buffalo sauce on the side just to make them edible and not feel like my money was wasted. While the service was solid, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant based on my experience. I won't be returning.

It's been a while since I reviewed this place and to be honest our experiences have always been kinda meh. Food was just ok. Not today. Today they rocked it. The new smash burger they have was amazing. Great grill flavors and a really good portion. For $23 you get the burger and a bowl of tots, which were awesome as well. Deb got the tuna stack and said that was delicious as well. Service was great and fast. Demi took really good care of us. Check them out again.

We visited ICE at Gaylord Palms and decided to eat lunch here. Overall it was a good experience. We wanted to sit outside by the grass so we ordered our food to-go at the bar. The bar tender was helpful and kind. It was a busy day as they had a conference at the resort. I enjoyed sitting outside and watching the kids run while we enjoyed our drink. We had the chicken nachos, a kids Mac and cheese with fresh green beans and a side of bacon Mac n cheese. The food was bar food but it was served hot and we enjoyed it. The kids menu is about $13 and includes a drink and a side. The nachos were 17 but you could easily share them and the side of bacon Mac n cheese was $8. We also had drinks and they range from $11-$22.

Second time we've been here and while the service is good, the food is a bit boring.First, expect a limited menu (at least for lunch), I got the grilled chicken sandwich and my wife got the fried chicken sandwich. Both were large, however neither were anything special.A plus is that the noise level was reasonable low so I was able to hold a conversation without yelling.

After a fun afternoon with family we decided it was time to eat, as a party of 8 I know that wait time will be a little longer especially when you are putting name on the list around 5pm. Hostess took name and number but gave no wait time, we did see many large tables that had not been cleaned in the bar area, after half an hour we were asked if outside patio would be okay, normally yes but we had 4 kids and it was cooler than normal and breezy so we decided inside was best. Another 45 minutes until we were seated. As we were led to the table there were a lot of empty tables in the area we were sitting. Our server was amazing, right away he introduced himself, said he wanted to take kids orders and drink order before anything else because kids getting meals first makes for a better experience for all which I totally agree with! We ordered, received our starter of buffalo cauliflower in a timely manner and then our entrees just as we finished the starter. Half the table had fish and chips while the other half burgers, the younger kids had macaroni and cheese and soft pretzels. Everything came out exactly as ordered and fresh. I had fish and chips which were cooked just right (not overly greasy) and the portion size was just right. My husband had the mushroom burger which was cooked to doneness he liked. The others in the party raved about their burgers and fish and kids enjoyed the macaroni and cheese and pretzels. We were not rushed and even after we finished eating we sat and visited a bit. Price was a little steeper than most restaurants in the area but as a resort restaurant it wasn't out of line. Restrooms were clean and noise level not too bad (we were able to have a conversation). I definitely recommend stopping in while at the Gaylord Palms. On a side note day parking fee is almost $41 with tax!!!!!

We had a great meal at Wreckers while staying at the Gaylord Palms. Chicken nachos to start were huge and flavorful, blackened salmon was cooked really well with delicious Cajun rice (and unless I'm eating Asian food, I'm not usually big on rice) and nice veggies. The mahi tacos were stacked. Good service from Alanis and a great cocktail from the bar (the gin/elderflower one was ace). Much better than average hotel/sports bar food.

If you're staying at the Gaylord Palms or are there for a conference / event, your onsite options are basically Wreckers Sports Bar, a super casual cafe marketplace, a super fancy steak house, and poolside dining. So during my recent stay, I ended up ordering take-out one day from Wreckers and dining in one evening. While both visits were sufficient, I wouldn't go out of my way to dine here. For take-out, I ordered a salad with a shrimp skewer for myself and I ordered my son hot pretzels... The food served the purpose to fuel us, but again, nothing special.Dine-in was a bit better. We were dining with a larger group and enjoyed some wine, as well as a variety of food. I had the Tuna Poke this time and my son had the kids' chicken tenders. Service both times was super friendly. There are tons of large screens to watch whatever sports events are on at the time. Prices are a bit high, but that's what you get dining in a hotel, so I wasn't surprised. If you're at or near the Gaylord Palms and speaking a sports bar or just bar food in a casual atmosphere, you can't go wrong at Wreckers.
