Wonder Arepa

Delicioso! I was craving Venezuelan food this afternoon, so I ordered from here for the first time with my family via UberEats. As I always say when I write my reviews when I order to go: I can't speak on ambiance. Regarding service, they packed up our order pretty quick and it was delivered earlier than the estimated time which was nice. I got us a few things to share: TEQUEÑOS (order of 5 minis), CACHAPA DE QUESO, AREPA PELUA (FRIED/FRITA), AREPA DOMINO (GRILLED/ASADA) + sauces: CILANTRO & GARLIC/AJO Y CILANTRO, PINK SAUCE l/SALSA ROSADA, CHIPOTLE HOT SAUCE/PICANTE. Everything was delicious! We always love tequeños. I wish more restaurants served the bigger ones, but the minis are still yummy. The cachapa had the perfect sweet-salty balance. My favorite item today was the arepa pelua. We ordered it fried, so it was nice and crispy on the outside and stuffed with flavorful meat and cheese. The arepa domino was also delicious. The black beans could have had a bit more seasoning, but it still hit the spot. All 3 sauces we ordered were great. My mom, my sister, and I each picked a different favorite! Mine today was the cilantro garlic, my mom's was the chipotle hot sauce (while not actually spicy, it had great flavor), and my sister's was the pink sauce. As for prices, it's pretty expensive, but I find most Venezuelan restaurants I've ordered from to be! We look forward to ordering more from here soon!

If you love arepas, you are going to love this place. Wonder Arepa does some of the best Venezuelan food around. I highly recommend their pollo and avocado arepa. They also have an excellent steak version as well. One of the best parts is just the giant glob of delicious cheese that is on top of each of the sandwiches. The maize (corn) that makes up the "bread" is incredible. So soft and seasoned well.If I had any complaints, it would just be that I wish they had some type of sauce or a hot sauce to go with the dish. Not that it is overly dry, but it definitely could use some liquid to make it a little more moist. a hot sauce specifically would be excellent to give a little variety and acidity to the savory dish.

Excellent! I found this place on Uber eats and I was not disappointed. The fried shrimp arepa was filled to the max. I added some cheese and pico to it and that help make it fantastic. I definitely think it was worth the money because there was a ton of meat/shrimp inside of it. I think I will try the barbecue one next but this is an easy five star just off of the amount of food you get.

This location has a great selection of food, wonderful staff, and such a beautiful sit down area. It can be a little tight with seating, but it is definitely worth it to eat the food if your party doesn't mind sitting close together. Fresh food and great taste!

Wow! Amazing food. 100% VENEZUELANWe ordered arepitas fritas, tequeños and a variety of arepas. Everything was very authentic and tasted delicious. You have the choice of ordering your arepas fried or asadas which was a good choice since not everyone likes them asadas. They had choices of pernil, pollo, eggs, and soo much more! I was a bit disappointed at first because they didn't have cachapas or empanadas, but that disappointment went away once I tried their AMAZING arepas!

(1/5/2024) we came for a weekday lunch. Ordering was at tablet kiosks. The dining room is small, looks like 50-50 dine-in and carry out. There's 5 or so square tables that could be adjust to accommodate different party sizes, but maybe max 14 dining in. Our party had several arepa newbs. The Monster Arepas on the menu are exactly that, bursting at the seams stuffed with meat and cheese. When they say cheese on something, they mean lots and lots of cheese. I had a fried Wonder Arepa with chicken salad, BBQ shredded pork, grilled slab of cheese, and avocado slices. It was excessive with meat, love the crisp cornmeal arepa it was stuffed into. Be forewarned, there's a significant amount of oil that drips out, keep the paper wrapper on it to rein in the unwieldiness. The tequenos are delicious better versions of a cheese stick wrapped in pastry. Ours were hot, but a little doughy, I like it fried/baked more with more browning of crust, but maybe that's just how they do it. It almost seems like there's a single person working there, she was very nice and attentive as she could be. We might have overwhelmed her with our party of 7, but they did a great job with getting the food out at soon and hot as possible. Looking forward to the catering options!

Awesome little hidden gem. You walk in and order on a touchscreen. The menu is in both Spanish and English. Once you order, there are a few tables to eat in or you can get it to go. The arepas are AMAZING. I would highly recommend giving this spot a try.

If you're looking for something new to eat, this place has something different than your usual lunchtime fare.Don't let the dingy Florida strip mall exterior stop you, the food inside of this establishment is top-notch.I don't think I had heard of an arepas before.And I definitely would not have put pulled pork with chicken salad.But it's an amazing combination put into layers with a fried hunk of cheese and some kind of fried bread exterior.Super delicious.You have to try it!

Food is flavorful and made with fresh ingredients. True to the original and authentic flavors of home cooking in your grandmother's kitchen. Customer service is excellent, will answer as many questions and extremely friendly. Must try!! You will not be disappointed.
