Wave Sushi

Located in the Maitland Social House this location offers a great experience with lots of seating both indoor and out. The offerings are huge and authentic. Service was quick and the restaurant was clean. I've also ordered to go and the food travels well.

Ok...I'm really sorry about this review, but I'll never go back to this place (nor will my daughters) again! For the price you pay...1. Counter Service. They do bring it to you. Big whoop!2. Soy sauce to-go packets only3. You know the ketchup to-go cups at fast food places? That's what you get to dip your sushi in4. The rice in the rolls were so loose, every piece broke before I got to dip. Thank Goodness they offered plastic forks and knives 5. Asking at counter for a tip when we clean up after ourselves and fill up drinks at soda fountain6. Crunch for the rolls are Rice Krispies7. It was so cold, we kept our coats onKrab Rangoon Fritters...great!Staff is very nice. No complaints there!I only gave it 2stars because of the staffAs I said, we will not return. Very expensive for what you get!!!

I've always been a fan of WAVE Asian Bistro, and I'm so glad this Maitland location is closer to home! It's a bit less crowded than the original spot, which makes for a more relaxed dining experience.I couldn't resist trying the sushi burrito this time, even though I'm a huge fan of their Sushi Hot Dog. While the sushi burrito was really good, fresh ingredients and bold flavors, the Hot Dog still takes the top spot for me. That's definitely my go-to dish here!As for appetizers, I've always loved the Krab Rangoon Mozzarella Sticks at the original location, and while I was a little hesitant to try something different, the Krab Rangoon Fritters here were a fantastic substitution. They were crispy, flavorful, and had that perfect creaminess inside.The service at this location was great, and the food came out quickly. I'll definitely be back soon to enjoy my favorites and explore more of the menu!

3.5 stars.Got out early from work and made the drive down to enjoy some sushi. Finally decided to make a stop here, walked in to a mostly empty area, a trio sat inside and a small family eat in the small space outside in the nice weather. I was quickly greeted by the cashier and offered a laminated menu since the tv displayed different prices. I decided to go with something familiar so I did two rolls: MD ($13) and the Alaska roll ($9) plus a self service cup for soda ($3). The rolls were good but nothing wow. The fish was fresh, they were quickly devoured and I was happy to be on my way to run errands. I will return to do something more unique the next time.

SO happy there is a Wave Sushi closer to me now! I fell in love first by trying the krab Rangoon mozzarella sticks and stayed for literally everything else. The sushi burrito was so good -- definitely big enough to share with a friend. The sushi rolls are so good, or you can be adventurous and try the sushi taco or sushi pizza! It's a counter order with delivery to your table! Love the sushi mural painted on the wall!

Wave sushi was good we when tried it for lunch! Wait time was average they were moderately busy. The sushi taco was interesting for sure, as well as the burrito! Definitely worth a try if you want to be adventurous! I stuck with a signature roll. Mine was good, but our friend's spicy tuna roll did have a slightly "off" taste. Come try out the unique offerings at Wave Sushi! They share a building with some other vendors, so it's a nice stop!

I recently visited Wave Sushi's new location for lunch over the weekend, and I absolutely loved it! Having been to their Mount Dora spot before, I was excited to check out the new place, and it did not disappoint.The ordering process is easy - you can order at the counter or online, which is really convenient. The outdoor seating area is a nice touch, and it was perfect for a relaxed lunch. The service was incredibly friendly, and I appreciated that they even picked up our plates when we were done.The menu here is a bit smaller than at their other location, but still packed with amazing sushi options. Just a heads up, they only offer gyozas and spring rolls for non-sushi items, so if you're craving something else, you might want to keep that in mind. We tried two rolls each, and they were great! I had the Spicy Krab Roll and the Love Roll, both of which were delicious. I'm never disappointed with their sushi - the quality is always spot on, and for the price, it's an incredible deal.Overall, Wave Sushi is a fantastic choice for fresh, flavorful sushi, and I'll definitely be back. Highly recommend it to anyone in the area!

We came in for lunch and had a great experience! The restaurant is clean and beautiful. Service was attentive and friendly. The food was just as good as it looks in photos. I got the SoozieTheFoodie Burrito and swapped the rice paper wrap for fried nori. The portion size is HUGE and a great value for the price. Two people could definitely share an entree. The ingredients were so fresh and flavorful. I loved the tuna, krab, and tempura shrimp. They recommend the fried nori wrap, which I got. It was a little heavy, but it's a fun option. The sauces are delicious and the burrito comes with wasabi and ginger. The concept is fun and delicious. I also got the krab rangoon fritters and they are incredible. They are cheesy, rich, and full of krab. It came with lime and a sweet chili sauce that really elevated it. Overall, this was a great experience! I'm excited to come back

I got the Slammin' Salmon Burrito at Wave Sushi, and it was very refreshing! The fish and vegetables were fresh and the service was accommodating and nice. The only thing was that I wasn't full afterwards and opted not to get additional items since the burrito itself was already pretty expensive. I get that you're paying extra for interesting sushi versions of other foods, but expect to spend more if you want to leave on a full stomach. Otherwise, the food quality is great!

I was going to rate this place 5 stars. The staff was super kind and gave great suggestions. The restaurant was clean, well maintained. And the food was DELICIOUS. Loved the crab rangoon fritters. Full of flavor and super light at the same time. I ordered the Poke Pizza. And I was genuinely enjoying it! I got it tempura'd on the bottom due to the worker saying it would help the pizza hold better. I was loving the flavors and freshness of everything so I brought it home to finish. My issue has come when I decided to finish the poke pizza. Once I got towards the back end of my pizza I noticed a long fine brown hair that does not belong to me. The hair was deeply stuck in the sticky rice and ran through the rest of the sushi base. My hair is black and curly also I currently have dreads so there is no way this hair is mine. Unfortunately due to this hair being in my food I'm knocking off stars because it's truly unsettling not only to see how long the hair is but knowing I already consumed half of this pizza so I have no idea if I consumed some of the hair as well.
