Wako Taco

We order wako occasionally when we come to hourglass brewery. Our go to is the chimichanga with pork. The chimichanga has generous toppings and the pork is nicely seasoned. It is a very generous portion for the price! Try the tacos there as well if you have the chance

Decent food but the best thing about this place is that their attached to an awesome craft brewery, not sure they'd get a ton of business otherwise. Had the tacos, they were ok. Chicken tacos were a little bland and flavorless but the beef tacos were better. Both tacos were helped by their hot sauce so if you order be sure to get that on the side. Overall ok, there are better tacos out there for sure but the guys inside are friendly and hard working!

Seriously the BEST quesadilla I've ever had! Fast, friendly and sooooooo good! Definitely a great place to eat and enjoy a beer next door at Hourglass

So I've never had a bad taco. Until today. I don't make reviews until today. But yea this is bad like rough bad. Cold taco cheese looked like it just came out of the bag beef bland just not a taco, carne asada? More like carne frisada aka cold frozen etc we threw away the food. Sorry not going back there nor near the plaza the wood carvings where cool though just gotta upgrade the menu because this is rough. Really wish I could put a negative star.

The service was quick and the young lady who helped me was very nice. I've gone to quiet a few taco places well over 10 places in the area. This is not really a taco spot I would try again. The meat was lacking flavor which can sometimes happen when eating chicken tacos, but typically the sauce or a lemon can fix that. My boyfriend got carnitas which he enjoyed so I give this 3 out of 5 because it seems maybe I was the only one who didn't enjoy my food.

When arriving at the food truck event (1/24/14) we wanted to try a little of everything. Especially things we've never had before and that included Wako Taco. After looking over their menu (which had a lot of options) we decided to go with the nachos. We had our choice of meat: chicken, pork, or steak. Opting for the steak was a great choice! It was seasoned and cooked to perfection. Queso, pico, and beans were also included. Our only question is what to try next time?

Typical Mexican food truck meets not so typical Mexican cuisine here at Wako Taco. They do serve the traditional tres tacos, but then they also serve what they call a WakoChanga, which is their twist on a chimichanga. It is HUGE and fried to golden brown perfection after being filled with one of three tasty options. First being al pastor, their specialty meat prepared with a recipe that has been in their family for over half a century; which is pork marinated in a mixture of peppers, spices and fruit juices. It is then grilled and topped with pineapple. Grilled chicken or steak are also options. I'm partial to the steak WakoChanga...it's just so good!

The tacos were very dry, they only have two kinds of sauces very hot and very sweet. They have no soda fountain only cans or bottles. The music next-door in the hourglass brewery is so loud it rattles the walls, but I guess they need wako taco as their food service, so they can continue to sell beer. 22.00 for something that I cannot eat. And no one cared. The hard blue taco shells were very dry and stale. The tacos were cold they weren't even warm
