Wako Taco

Wako must mean messy in whatever language it's from. Everything I've ever eaten here has been messy. It's good stuff, but it got to the point where I just didn't want to deal with it any more.The food can be hit or miss. I think it's because it's not overly busy most of the time, so maybe the people get bored or the food sits or something. I really enjoyed the shrimp taco, but the fish taco was just kinda there. The Wako Taco was good too.It's "Attached" to the Hourglass Brewery (Longwood Location) so it's super convenient to grab a bite when you're have a beer or five.

I came to visit with co-workers and we ordered a bunch of items to share and really enjoyed everything! We got the birria tacos, fish tacos, the wako taco, nachos, and the concha sandwich. Everything was absolutely delicious. The concha sandwich was a favorite with tender meat and a sweet bun. The guava sauce was especially good. The nachos were loaded and had tons of flavor. All of the tacos were delicious and well prepared. Service was fast. This is a great place to visit and share with a group.

The staff was friendly and the food was great. Ordered Birria tacos and steak chimichanga.

Good eats, always get some nachos with extra sauces during my visits to hourglass. Always friendly service and a great location.

Tacos were good was not a fan of the chicken tacos but the kids liked them. Service was amazing. The guys were great. Space was very clean and they share a space with the brewery next-door. I would definitely go back again to try something different. I do recommend given this place a shot. I've seen it multiple times I've driven past it always how it was. And finally decided to go and check it out with my kids and my kids love tacos so it was a hit with them.

We came to eat on Labor Day evening and we were so pleased to find them open and not busy. The gentleman at the front seemed less than enthused when he greeted us but he was a bit friendlier when we asked him for recommendations since it was our first time. We went with the special which was three tacos with choice of meat. The chicken was dry but the beef and pork were tasty. The taco salad was hearty and the flavorful and the shell was fresh and crispy. The quesadilla was good and hearty. All in all, we enjoyed the food and the ambiance of the combined real estate with the brewery next door. We are not beer drinkers but it's cool that you can order at Wako Taco and have your food brought to you next door at the connected brewery. I would be interested to come back and give it another shot.

I have been here twice, and both times the service has been friendly and the tacos good. I tried the Queso Birria tacos andThe Mahi Fish tacos. They both were very flavorful and the sauces were excellent as well. Right next to Hourglass Brewery, and they will bring your food to you there as well. I would like to try a few more things, and I will be back.

Underwhelming. When we moved into the neighborhood 8 years ago, we were so excited to find a taco shop nearby. It's one of the first places we tried when venturing out for new spots. It was so underwhelming, that we never went back. That was in 2015. This weekend, I gave in to my taco craving and thought I'd give them another shot, since they're literally less than a mile from home. Meh. That's all. It's not bad. It's not good. It's just filler. But if I just wanted filler I'd have gone to Taco Bell.

Best grab and go burrito I have had in a long time! Also really impressed with customer service! Guy brought us out a few different hot sauces even though we didn't ask we tried them all and they were all great! Overall experience was fantastic and the chicken burrito was spot on!

The Asada, Al pastor and Barbacoa tacos in the homemade yellow corn tortillas were beyond delicious and the green hot sauce was my favorite salsa I've ever had, I literally had to get some to go. It almost had a spicy curry flavor to it. The Al pastor had so much flavor and was exactly what I needed. The asada was my favorite though even though they were all great and I can't wait to come back again!
