For the ambiance, lighting, overall vibes were nice. Views of the bay and giving off that modern poly ambiance, sure. We sat inside and because the room has a curve to it, the seating along the wall (that isn't a booth) is fairly tight. There were only two of us and they crammed us between to tables of 5 (1 wall shares a long bench for all the tables) however, as the wall curves, the angle to get between the tables and the bench lessens and it can be awkward when you have the shimmy sideways in between tables to get to your seat while not hitting any food on the other table. We heard great things about the food so we were excited to try it out. We ordered the misubi, wings, short rib loco and the wayfinding burger. My husband said the Misubi was good. It had some crunch elements on the outside which was nice. The wings were okay. Definitely was smokey from the adobo, a little over fried and super salty. It would've been nice to have something cut the saltiness of the soy. Maybe a pineapple or something. The short rib loco moco was good. The short rib was tender and the crispy rice was nice to cut the fattiness. The mushroom gravy was salty, as well. It was too salty for me to eat. The fried egg was over cooked so that was a bummer as well. The wayfinding burger surprised me with a sweet Hawaiian bun, but the spicy poke sauce was a little too spicy. If I come back, I'd ask for it on the side. Our burger fell apart while eating it. I think the sauce took over the whole burger and just made it messy. The burger came with a choice of a side and we just got the fries. The total bill came out to be around $80. To me, the food was just too salty for my liking. I'm in no rush to go back.

I was really hoping to love this place at the new Poly DVC tower, but it was quite underwhelming. It mostly gets stars for ambiance, the design is beautiful contemporary water themed, and the views are amazing. The bar outside is stunning and you have a great view of the fireworks at Magic Kingdom. The bartender Katie Mac is also great and made some very tasty drinks. The servers were all very nice and attentive and the food came out pretty quick.Unfortunately that's where the meal took a turn for the worse. The shrimp were a bit rubbery and fishy and the sauce they were in was super bland, which is weird because it looked great and spicy. The mac salad was awful, it's usually my husbands favorite, but he couldn't eat more than two bites. It was slimy, bland, and very acidic. The teriyaki sliders were OK at best, the chicken tasted fine, but was a lot of gristle and the slaw was pretty good. But the buns were super dried out, the top one was hard as a rock and crumbled when I took a bite. I probably won't come back unless it's to grab a drink at the bar and enjoy the view.

Stopping in as we wait for 2pm and can get into Epcot. Great venue with awesome views. Bartenders are top notch. Line to get in but lots of bar seating. Tried the banana old fashioned. Delicious! Deb tried the pandan. Very unique flavors. For food we grabbed musubi. So good. Deb had the ahi tuna nachos. Yum! Great spot with good drinks and great views.

Food is yummy, service is Disney quality and the view is nice :) I am so happy there is a new tropical spot to come and experience at Walt Disney World. I really did love all the cute details they put into their food and drink and appreciate the recycled fishing line art but wish there had been a few more details in the decor. The menu is pretty good but I want to come back and try more. Fish of the day was a hit and mild but the curry that went with it really packed some flavor into the dish. Drinks are good and a little on the strong side. My favorite part was laying on the hammocks out front when I was done :)

First trip to Wailulu and won't be the last. Walked up to join the wait list, we're told 20-30 minutes and after about 15-20, we were welcomed back. The decor and design of this place is beautiful. Every thing you look at has a different level of detail. A casual dining spot, the bar and grill area has quite the look to it and the furniture looked very comfortable. Bar seating is first come first serve, so keep that in mind if you don't want to wait.I was really looking forward to the Short rib Loco Moco and it delivered. A nice tender chunk of short rib over some crispy rice cakes- great texture and crunch from the rice cake while still staying moist in the center. The short rib was topped with a sunny side up egg, fresh cilantro, and all situated in a bed of delicious sauce.I'll say, this is Loco Moco inspired. It didn't have the same level of comfort you get from real Loco Moco, but the flavor it packed was still very good. Value with it being $33 was a little less than expected.. But the overall presentation, texture, flavor was great. While the short rib was a little pricey, they made up with it on the Crispy Lo Mein Teriyaki Chicken Salad. Great portion, fantastic fresh flavor, and overall a nice breath of freshness to cut the richness from the short rib. The hearts of palms and the pickled sweet potato were the unsung heroes of the dish. Both extremely flavorful and again, delivering on different textures. This was $18 with the chicken. My wife and I split each and portion wise it was just the right amount to be satisfied but not breathing heavy in the slightest. With what we had, you'd surely have room for dessert if you wanted it. We will certainly be back- tasty meal, relatively quick, casual and didn't absolutely break the bank. The short rib was the most expensive thing on the menu if I recall, so you have that as a benchmark.Great addition to the Polynesian.

Wailulu Bar & Grill has the best outdoor view on Disney property. This restaurant is on the new Island Tower at Disney's Polynesian Resort. It has a gorgeous view of the Seven Seas Lagoon. You have to see it for yourself. The food is inspired by the Southern Pacific Island flavors. We ordered the Crispy Chicken Wings as a starter and the Ahi Tuna Poke and Wayfinder Burger as mains. Both were great, and the volcano sauce on the burger was phenomenal. For dessert, we got the chocolate cake, and it was delicious. You can't go wrong with a Coffee-infused Chantilly Cream. I recommend trying the Dole Whip Sunday, too.For drinks, I tried the espresso martini. It was good, but I can't compare because I haven't drunk a lot of espresso martinis lately. If it is your first visit, I recommend seating outside, especially in one of the booths. If you visit during one of Florida's cold snaps, they have heaters, making it cozy and enjoyable. The restaurant doesn't have reservations; you can join the waitlist from the My Disney Experience app when you are on the property. Our wait time was less than 10 minutes. You can also walk up and hang out at the bar. This place is special because if you time your dinner with Magic Kingdom fireworks you will have a prime view.

Located in Disney's Polynesian resort. The restaurant offers indoor and outdoor seating. You can make a reservation using the Disney experience app, you can order food for pick up using the Disney experience app, or you can just walk up like I did and ask to be seated. When I arrived, the wait time was 15 to 20 minutes I was seated within five minutes. My server, Fabiola was amazing very attentive. I sat outside and although the weather was cold they had plenty of heating lamps around the tables to help you feel comfortable and warm.I ordered Musubi for my appetizer it was delicious, for my entree I ordered the Wayfinder Burger with sweet potato fries it was equally as delicious. The price for food is your typical Disney prices (I paid $42 total before tip), sometimes you don't get what you pay for and you feel as if things are overpriced because it's Disney. However, in this occasion, the price of the food matched the quality and taste of the food I received. The service was also amazing. Well worth it I will definitely be back to try other items with my family.

Maybe let this one work out the kinks for awhile. While food is absolutely stunning, it was pretty much ok. We had the sweet potato hummus, which was good, but needed more tostones. The burger and poke bowl were fine. For the burger, the flavors were good, but the bun was soggy. For the poke bowl, also mostly good, but this was not the freshest tuna I have had. It was pretty fishy at times. The creme brulee was the real star, this was great! It had a nice citrus taste. The drinks, as I have seen influencers share on social media, were not good. I got the POG drink, I forget what it was called. It was strong, but mostly just tasted like alcohol.I was also shocked to see there was very minimal wait, but things did move slow service wise at times.

Loved the ambiance. We only visited the bar and the views and setting were fantastic. We ordered some appetizers and there I was less than impressed. They tasted as if someone just took them out of the refrigerator and microwaved them. Very dry and not fresh at all. Would not order those items again.
