Excellent meal after a winter holiday day at universal studios. Hot pot and kBBQ hit the spot. Good value compared to California prices. $31 for either hot pot or BBQ or $37 for both. The selection of hot pot items was diverse and the quality of the seafood was amazing. Especially the shrimps and blue crabs (super sweet and mostly had eggs). Good selection of options for broths and sauces. The bbq selections had decent selections.

Food was great. You cooks your own. I don't like the fact that you can't pick just the pot or grill. If you do the whole table needs to pick the same. What's so hard about separating the cost per person. It's not cheap so get ready to pay a pretty penny especially if you had both pot and grill. Nice ambiance.

This is our go to whenever we stay near universal. You will pay one price and go up to get the hot pot and kbbq stuff from the buffet. It is under $40 for both hot pot and kbbq for weekend dinner. They only bring out your hot pot broth and drinks, everything else can be found at the buffet! I love the original broth as it has a good flavor without being too overpowering, like a neutral umami flavor. Service is always on point and very welcoming whether it is your first or four hundredth time getting hot pot. The place is super clean and modern and I have no qualms about the cleanliness of the buffet despite it always being busy when we eat there.

Volcano on I-Drive is a fantastic spot for both hot pot and KBBQ lovers in a prime tourist location. The AYCE setup offers a wide selection of fresh ingredients, including high-quality meats, seafood, vegetables, and noodles, along with flavorful broths. Whether you're in the mood for hot pot or KBBQ, both options are made easy and enjoyable with a well-stocked sauce bar and an inviting, spacious atmosphere. The restaurant is clean, modern, and perfect for groups, family gatherings, or date nights. What really sets Volcano Hot Pot apart is its outstanding service. The staff is friendly, attentive, and quick to help, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable dining experience from start to finish. The staff even flipped my meats a couple times if they noticed I wasn't paying attention. The combination of delicious food, excellent service, and a vibrant atmosphere makes it a five-star dining destination. If you're in the area, this place is a must-visit!

I usually do hot pot when it's cold out. Or once a year I do hot pot. My bf and I came here for dinner around 5 on a weeknight. Not very busy so there was no wait. I went for the tomato broth and he did the pork. I immediately hit the bar to grab my meats and veggies. I feel like hot pot is the same pretty much everywhere except for the quality of meats, seafood, etc. I like volcano for the variety. There's a lot of condiments to make the sauce. Variety of carbs. I love doing the rice cakes or noodles. The quality of seafood is ok. I tried the blue crab but it was difficult to take apart after cooking. Our waitress was good. Came to refill soup every once in a while. Until next time...

The amount of offerings here is just stunning. Absolutely stunning. I haven't done Korean BBQ at this location but have at others in the same chain and it wasn't my favorite. So we stuck to hotpot. Some of my favorite things on the buffet were crab legs, blue crabs, shrimp, hagow, lots of red meat options, tons of green veggies and more noodles than I knew existed. The only down side: the sauce bar is extremely average. A big letdown compared to the other offerings. Plus I used a container marked "salt" that was very clearly sugar. Step that up and it becomes a 5 star review!

Mmmm honestly I'm not sure what's up with these reviews. I Love kbbq and for that reason I feel they missed the mark with their buffet style. I didn't try hot pot so maybe that's amazing but I found the bbq sub par. Yes you can eat all you want but I rather pay for the a la carte experience if that means tastier meats and better side dishes (the radish was cut like carrot sticks and that bothered me) . The sauces just lacked in options to complement the meats. Service was fine, they are pretty fast with changing out the foil on the grill. And inside is pretty but gave cafeteria energy. The 5 star reviews really misled me here.

While sitting here, in the middle of cold February in New England, I can't help but to wish to be transported to Orlando so I can indulge in Volcano Hot Pot. We absolutely enjoyed everything about this establishment, from the options in the raw buffet to create your own masterpiece tableside, to getting creative on how you do your BBQ and hotpot combination. This is a must every time we are in Orlando.

I was in town for Disney and decided to see if Orlando's hotpot was any good vs the ones in Atlanta. Boy, I was in for a treat!! The front lobby area was beautiful decorated as they had some replica Takata soldiers from China. Walking in, they had a beautiful bar area. The price here is $31.99 for either KBBQ or Hot Pot. Add $5 more to get both. We opted for the hot pot only. The biggest difference here is you get your own food in the AYCE bar. The seafood selection is insane as they had: Snow Crab Legs, Blue Crab, Oysters, Huge Shrimp, Huge Clams, and etc. The sauce bar was amazing. I loved it. Their cold side dish bar had the best kimchi cucumbers and seaweed salad. They had a small hot food bar that included fried dumplings, friend chicken wings, French fries, and egg rolls. I hate to say this but the fried chicken wings were one of the best I have ever had! Service was awesome here and I really enjoyed it. This place blows all the Hot Pot AYCE spots in Atlanta. I didn't try the Korean BBQ but hope to eat some soon! If your in town in Orlando, you have to try to place out if your in the mood for some good ass Hot Pot/Korean BBQ.

Volcano Hot Pot & BBQ is my go to kbbq restaurant in the area. I used to frequent the Winter Garden Village location, and then found the I-Drive location. The I-Drive location has more of a variety, as well as a larger restaurant in general. The servers are all super friendly, and I have seen them more than willing to help people out that have never been to a hot pot / kbq restaurant. When you arrive at the restaurant, you have to choose if you want hot pot, bbq, or both. The choice has to be the same for the entire table. Personally for hot pot, the broths that they have I have never liked as I'm used to the ones from other restaurants around the area. So I only go for kbbq, but that's a personal preference for me. Others I have taken have enjoyed the broth selections. For bbq, you have a plethora of buffet selections of meat and seafood, as well as a full sauce bar. It is AYCE, and they do post a time limit of 90 minutes during peak, but I have never seen them stick to it.All in all, I would absolutely recommend this place for both hot pot and kbbq.
